Description of Work: They were punctuality (arrive 1/2 hrs. early). Did a nice job installing, but couldn't help us on how to do the Wi-Fi garage door opener to put on our smartphone, so we had to do this by ourselves by doing some research on the internet.

Description of Work: I contacted them regarding the intermittent partial function of our garage door. We did not know whether the problem was electrical or mechanical. A representative came within 48 hours at a time convenient for us, diagnosed the problem of malfunctioning spring and associated mechanism. He replaced the springs, adjusted the mechanism, and cleaned around the sensors. He also educated us regarding regular maintenance.

Description of Work: Door did not close entirely after technician left so I called him and he returned. Looked like it was fixed but I pulled out the garage door book and read the instructions and did the safety check myself with a block of wood and the door didn't stop where it was suppose to. Got a ladder and went up and spent 45 minutes adjusting it myself so it would stop when it was suppose to. It then closed all the way to the bottom. | |

 + 0 moreI got them through one of the Angie's List big deals. He put a silicone spray on all of the tracks and the chain that pulls it in. There was one roller that he tightened. He was here for about 15 minutes. It was such a brief encounter with them. He was delayed but not late because he had a rough time getting here. He was courteous and seemed to work efficiently. I didn't have any problems with him. It wasn't like it was a major job. It was a minor encounter. I called another company and asked them how much a routine service would cost and they said $75 and this company said $79. On one hand when I look at it, for 15 minutes $79 seems high but on the other hand I found out that it was in the range. It was money well spent. I think it was right on target. The big deal was supposed to be a 50% off but it wasn't that cheap. If it was 50% off and I already found someone to do it at that price. I think I did it more of a convenience. I would have had a really bad time paying double that. I could have done the job myself if I knew what to do.
Description of Work: I used the service of Adam Overhead Door yesterday to service the doors.

 + -1 moreIt went well from start to finish. Mike from Adam Overhead was able to come out on a Thursday night for the estimate to accommodate my schedule. After reviewing the estimates and I chose Adam Overhead on Monday afternoon, the door was replaced while I was at work on Friday.
Description of Work: I received three estimates for replacing my ancient garage door. Adam Overhead Door was the lowest bid. They removed the old wooden door and original track and put in the new door and track with weatherstripping. The whole process went really smoothly.

 + -1 moreThey gave us a free estimate back in April. They came in well below the price we expected. We meant to have them come back and do the work, but procrastinated. Our existing garage door broke and failed to open two days before Thanksgiving. We called Adam Overhead Door, they ordered our new door. Since we wanted a sandstone color for a non-standard slightly over 2 1/2 car door size, they needed two weeks to order it, but were able to send someone over to fix the existing door the next morning. We were able to enjoy Thanksgiving with no problems. Due to our schedule, the new door wasn't installed until four weeks later, the day before Christmas Eve. They did the job well, in a few hours, and worked on days others considered holidays and were closed. They also hauled away the old door, track, etc. at no extra charge. Many thanks!
Description of Work: We had a free estimate for a new garage door, had our existing garage door fixed, had a new garage door installed, and the old garage door/track/etc hauled away. Our garage door is pretty plain-Jane, non insulated steel. The price above was for the new door, track, and springs and haul away of the old. When our existing door broke, it was additional $100 to fix. This was a deal because our car was trapped in the garage the week of Thanksgiving and they came out first thing the next morning and fixed within 30 minutes.
