The installation of the new 2 car garage door went better than we could have hoped for. The installers arrived at the time expected and went right to work. The removal of the old door and the install of the new one went quickly and was done very professionally. The quality and appearance of the new door is outstanding. The installers adjusted the garage door opener to make sure it was set correctly for the new door and even went so far as to wipe down the entire door with a cleaner after the installation was done and swept the surrounding floor to make sure no debris was left behind. We could not be happier with the results.

It was a pretty straightforward job, but everything was completed to expectations and with good workmanship. I appreciated Mike's punctuality and his ability/willingness to communicate via email. The job went remarkably quick as well; just a couple hours or so! The new door works wonderful. It is SO much better than what we had... but I still have to remember to take it easy when lifting the door now since it is so much easier to lift than that wooden door we had! He also was willing to resecure the spring mechanism on our other garage door that was coming loose at no charge, so that was much appreciated as well. And his price quote came in significantly under the other two quotes I received. Couldn't be happier with how things turned out!

I will never let Adam Overhead Door near my garage again. The first time they came out, it was to install a new garage door and opener. During that visit, they tightened the springs (on the two-car garage) because they felt that they were too loose. However, they apparently tightened them too much, because that evening when my husband released the automatic door, the garage door FLUNG up quickly, denting the new garage door mechanism (at the top of the garage door opener). So, we asked them to come back and loosen the spring so that the damage (and safety hazard) would not occur again. So they came back and loosened the spring up. About two weeks later the spring on one side of the garage door broke. Given that this spring was fine before they installed the new garage door opener, I can?t help but to assume that this break is related to the over-tightening (and then necessary loosening) of the spring. I called Adam Overhead Door to replace the spring, assuming they would replace it for free. Instead, the service person who came out was very patronizing and said that it couldn?t have anything to do with them ? it was just a coincidence that it broke two weeks after they installed the opener. Both the service person and the person in the office that I spoke to kept insisting that they would have to charge me fully to replace the spring. Finally, after much argument, I told them I would be reporting my experience to Angie?s list, so they changed their mind and said that they would replace it. However, even though they knew that their installer had tightened both springs (for the 2 sides of the garage), they took the cheap route and just replaced the one broken spring. Sure enough, about two weeks later, the other spring broke. At that point there was no way I was going to call back Adam Overhead for a 4th time and have them put forth the minimum effort they could. Instead I called another garage door company in New Berlin.

The came out within 4 hours of my call. Technician diagnosed the problem and explained what needed to be done. He quickly replaced the broken part. Very polite and businesslike.

It went very well. They were very friendly and professional. They worked around our schedule and did the job quickly and to our expectations. The price seemed very fair.

My experience with them went fine. There were no issues. He came out and fixed it on short notice. They took my call on a Sunday night and showed up on Monday to fix it.

They were available for an inspection the same day I called. Another highly rated Angie's List place I called said I had to call back the next day at 8:30 in the morning to see if someone could come out. Plus, their service charge was $20 more than Adam. Both the person I spoke with initially on the phone (Mike, owner) and the gentleman who came out to perform the work were very professional and responsive. We continued to have a problem after the work was completed. They came out the next day to make an adjustment, free of charge. I was also given a good possibility on what the secondary problem likely was, and sound advice in how to address the problem if it keeps occurring. I was quite pleased with their service, and would probably exclusively contact them for any future work.

We have worked with Adam Overhead Door before. I called Wednesday because one of our springs had broken. They had openings on both Thursday and Friday. I was able to select a time frame that worked for me with no hassle. I was quoted a price higher than I was charged on the day of service which was a pleasant surprise! Our technician called when he was on his way. On arrival, he checked out our door and got right to work. Fifteen minutes later he knocked on the door to let me know he was done. Work completed as expected, quick and quality to boot. I'm also grateful for the practice of the technician not taking credit cards. They request that you call the office to make payment in order to protect your information. Thanks for the extra assurance! Adam Overhead Door is a great business and we will return if necessary.

My first call to Adam Overhead Door I spoke directly with Mike. I was very impressed with his professionalism; a primary reason we chose this company over others. We were able to get on the schedule that week. I received a phone call the day of service letting me know the technician was on his way. The service was great and resolved our issue. I felt like the price was reasonable. It took about 30 minutes from start to finish. We will return to Adam Overhead Door if we have future garage door issues.

Since this is our son's house we had to meet the employee there he called when he was on his way and was there when I arrived. He looked over the job and started the work immediately when done everything looked really great. We will definitely call this company again for any future garage door issues and will also pass this information on to our daughter & our friends.

They came on a day that was FRIGID. And when I still had problems they came out again and found a loose wire was causing the additional problems. I have used Adam overhead door in the past and have always found them to be prompt and professional.

Everything went fine. There was a little mix-up with paperwork so technician was a little late but otherwise repair completed on schedule.

It’s been fine. They did a really good job. They did it quickly and efficiently. I was above happy with the price. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They knew what they were talking about. The price was acceptable.

The first time he gave me a big deal price. I called him, and he was out the same day. In this case, it was a broken cable. The cable that holds the door up was broken, so he came and replaced both sides, and made sure everything was working properly. I have used him twice.

It was good. It was fine. They were prompt. They did what they were supposed to do. I had no dislikes about the service. I highly recommend them.
