Adam Overhead Door

Communication was not so good. Full explanation including tips and care was not provided. I paid for tune up but all he did was to tighten the bolts andn uts and spray on wheels for lubrication.

See above. The doors are approx. 16 years old and were in need of some adjustment and loving care. Inspected all areas including some of our own concerns. Adjusted springs on one door so it would function much better. Doors perform much smoother, quieter and he also straightened out some kinks in the supports which had been accidentally backed into on occassion. Was very professional and am glad we had it done by this company.

The technician arrived promptly and was very efficient. I think the entire job was completed in less than forty minutes. He took time to explain what had been done and even offered some do-it-yourself tips to keep everything operating at peak efficiency. I would not hesitate using this firm for future work. Neither will you!

Adam Overhead Door came earlier than expected when I wasn't home and fixed my overhead door .I had to call them to see when they were coming and they actually had come when I had stepped out earlier in the day. I have to say the overhead door works like a charm, I am very happy with the service.Would recommend.

Excellent, overhead door never worked as smoothly

Used an Angie's "big deal". Project was worth the $$$. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly, were prompt on promised date, were fast and accurate with work. Nice job. I would use this company again if needed.

They were on time; performed tune-up and nylon roller installation as promised. Our garage door would slide open a bit sometimes, and the tune-up seemed to fix this. The nylon rollers were noticeably quieter. The only negative thing would be I question the price - even with the Angie's list group deal, it was about 20 minutes of work - which would work out to 330/hr. But otherwise, the quality of work was good.

Went excellent. Arrived promptly at 7:30 and was done within about a half hour.

The job was done as required. The gentleman knew exactly what to do.

Fixed broken chain on one garage door & lubricated both. Quick, and the doors are quiet.Angie's List, by contrast, is unpleasant. It required that I enter something in this field in order for Adam Overhead Door to get the credit it deserves.

Overall, Adam Overhead Door and their services was okay.

Because door would not open every time, and made loud rattling noises. I bought coupon for tune up and replacement of rollers for $109.00 from Angie's List. When tech came out he diagnosed the problem as a broken spring. My son in law was here at time, and the tech showed the broken spring to him. Tech also explained that it was a practice to replace both springs do to the tension. This l understood from work done in my previous work place.. He explained the extra charges for only the parts, as any labor was covered due to the coupon price was $120.00.The technician was very polite, and efficient. So the only extra charge was $126.72(w/tax) and l have a door that works like new. It was well worth the charges, and totally gave me confidence using Angie's list that l would get someone that would not only servicable, but also trustworthy. Thank you.............mpike

We called on Tuesday afternoon and were told that they could have someone come out on Wednesday morning! Awesome. The guy was hear right on time. He hadn't been in the garage more than 5 seconds before he said, "Well, I can tell you what's wrong." He did. And he said it would cost about $125. I told him to go ahead. Just a very few minutes later he was all done and the garage door was all fixed. Total cost: $123.35. Prompt, courteous service that was effective! Angie's List works for me again!!!

They did an excellent job, we were very pleased. We had used another company about 9 months before but whatever they did, the door didn't stay fixed. But, now it is functioning perfectly. They were very responsive, came when they said they would, and did a great job.

Service tech arrived on time, made adjustments to the garage door, and installed nylon rollers. He was fast and willing to explain the process and review the work completed. Highly recommend this company!

I found Admas Overhead Door on Angies list. I had a great experience with them and the do real quality work. They are very professional.

We called them on Tuesday morning and they were able to have a technician here on Tuesday afternoon. He arrived, took one look at the garage door, and told us the problem. He had it fixed in about 20 minutes, then lubed up our garage door, and was finished. Very prompt and professional.

The serviceman arrived on time after calling before he came. He was very friendly without being unprofessional. He assessed the problem in seconds and got to work. He did a fine job. My door is so quiet. My only complaint is the area under the opener had greasy metal debris on the garage door. I would have liked a drop cloth put under the work area.

He did the work. The man didn't communicate very well.

Bought an Angie's List deal for garage door tune-up. Called Overhead and arranged service visit for the next day. It was a workday, so we just left the garage side door open. Came home after work and everything was fixed and running perfectly. Was so happy at the low maintenance of this transaction.

He was on time, made the minor adjustments needed and did the needed tune up befor winter ciomes. Very happy with service.

From the minute the man came to my house he was rushed. I told him I wanted him to take his time and do the job right. He sprayed the door and then was opening it and closing it several times when it started smoking. He figured out that the capacitor was over heating and replaced it with no charge to me and I really feel that it was because he was rushing through the work. If you use this company make sure you book an appointment with them when they're not so busy they rush through the work and just break things and make them even worse. Also, the worker seemed really stressed and wasn't very polite or professional in his interactions with me.

Garage door spring broke and therefore unable to open garage door. I called them mid-morning. They had a service man call me within an hour. He arrived a half hour later. he went right to work and replaced broken spring and made sure the door was operating in about 20 min (he worked furiously the whole time). The service man was quiet and professional and got the job done. Other places I called were not able to come for a day or two. Their price was in line and I got a fair price for the work. I really appreciated the quick response time and would use them again (though the springs should last 5-7years). So, I think I will recommend them to anyone else who needs their service.

They came for the garage door special offered through Angies List Big Deal. I had been having some problems with the door and they addressed them working to identify the problem and the solutions needed to resolve the issue. It was an intermittent problem so just as he thought he was done it happened again and he continued on til there was consistency, but told me if it returns to call back. So far so good.

I called them and they came out the next morning. They were prompt. The guy was busy doing something else and he said that he would call me back. He did call back and set it up for the next morning. I recommended him to my son-in-law. I had a coupon and got so much off. I was surprised they came because they were 25 miles away from me. I don't know if he lived in the area and stopped by on his way to work or drove from his business.
