Paul was awesome. He contacted me directly, showed up when he said he would, and did a fantastic job of letting me know what I needed without trying to sell me fancy unneeded stuff. I'm super thrilled. When I got home, all I had was a new functional toilet that was perfect.

God picked my plumber, I kid you not. On Tuesday I discovered my hot water heater was shot. That evening I went on Angies List to check things out and really liked what I saw for Paul Wolf and his company. However I was convinced my some others to just go to one of the Big Box Stores, since they would be less expensive. I did that, had a great contact at the Box store, but they told me the first thing that would happen was they would send someone out ($35.00) to check things out and make sure the right heater was being installed. I went home a little bummed that I had to pay someone to measure something I could measure my self - but so it was. On Wednesday afternoon, just as promised Paul showed up, as the contracted representative for the Big Box. I immediately recognized his name from Angies List. He did everything as was expected for the people he was representing, but then I said "I think I read about you on Angies List. I really wanted to go with you but was told you'd probably cost a lot more. So what do you cost." As it turned out using the coupon on Angie's List he was going to come in at a price equal to, if not a bit less than the Big Box. Obviously God had sent me, in spite of all my efforts otherwise, the man who was supposed to be doing the job!. I decided then and there to go with what my gut had told me from the get go and use Paul rather than the Big Box. He needed to go to his warehouse for a water heater as well as finish the paper work he was doing for the Big Box Store but was probably back within the hour. He laid tons of drop cloths, got the installation done efficiently, gave me a "tour" of my new water heater and lugged the old one away with not so much as a drop of water in its wake. We chitchatted as I was paying my bill (cash or check, no credit cards) and several comments proved to me that he is a man of integrity and makes a huge effort to stay updated on everything going on his field. I highly recommend Paul Wolf, I am truly sorry that I will have to wait until something else breaks in order to offer him more work.

Explained what the problem was and fixed the problem. Everything has been fine since then.

It went extremely well. He had been to the house and given and estimate for the work and and we added a couple of things on the run and he did them with no fuss and minimal extra charge, First impression on arriving to do the work was great. He entered the foyer with his tool box and an armload of carpet runners which he laid out in and to every area being serviced. All was cleaned up well, as though nothing had happened when he left. Thanks Paul, it's what a home-owner really appreciates. Paul is very accommodating, personable, conscientious and knowledgeable. I would definitely hire again and recommend to any friend.

He did a very good job. He's also done other plumbing work for us so we knew he would do great. He even worked on prices with us.

Earlier in December I had asked Paul for a quote to replace my sump pump and fix the pipe from the pit to the outside of the house. He was very professional and explained what my options would be for a battery backup and what he would do to fix the pipes. Two weeks later I caused a serious problem with the sump pump that led to seepage in my basement. I reached out to Paul and he immediately come over to help (9:00 pm on a Friday night). He quickly corrected what I had broken and the situation was stabilized. He stayed 3 hours and provided a WET-VAC for me to use. He came back the next day to check on the situation. One week later he upgraded the sump pump and fixed the piping. I felt much better about the situation. Paul was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. He was patient and helpful which I appreciated since I had just caused several thousands dollars of damage to my basement. I would highly recommend Wolf & Sons Plumbing

My plumbing project was a bit of a challenge, but Paul knew exactly how to handle it. He knows his trade well, works hard, is easy to work with and he went the extra mile for me. He was always on time and answered all the questions I had and then some. He replaced some badly rusted, leaky and barely functional plumbing, installed a new water heater and kitchen sink, and did a great job. Couldn't ask for a better plumber. Whenever I need a plumbing work done, I know what to do...better call Paul!

I needed to replace a very old gas-fired lowboy water heater. Found out that due to their relatively inefficient use of gas, they were no longer being made. Three other contractors looked and told me that none were available. Paul looked harder and actually found what had to be about the last one in the state. I decided that due to the inefficiency this was not the best option even though it would have been the cheapest. Also found that a tankless gas-fired model would not justify its much higher initial price with sufficient energy savings during the expected life of the product. So, I needed to convert to an electric lowboy. Paul helped me see that a 50 gallon model would cost just a little more initially, and only cost very little more to operate than a 40 gallon model from the same manufacturer.. In other words a lot more capacity for just a few dollars more. He supplied the model I wanted, arranged for a trusted electrician to do the small job of running a new power line, and pulled the necessary city permit. His work, that of both the electricians and the inspection all had to be coordinated. He capped the gasline, removed and disposed of the old unit and installed the new one, by himself, in three hours. All the work was cheerfully done in a crawlspace with a 48 inch clearance ,and at a competitive price. So far it works just fine.

Pipes were checked and toilet was checked. He fixed and rechecked. He also told me what to watch for and to dry out what was already wet.

Once again, Wolf & Sons Plumbing did an awesome job for us. Paul is just amazing. Quality work for a very reasonable price.

Clearly a company that cares about their customers - I really appreciate that!!! I called Paul Wolf, owner of Wolf & Sons Plumbing because I had 5 different and unrelated plumbing issues. He immediately came over to look at the issues I was having. Paul gave us his recommendations for fixing the problems and he went over the best products to use for our costs. He even suggested not doing 1 of the jobs that I was going to have him complete because the expense to me was not worth the little benefit it would give. Paul drove 45 minutes to my house, spent another 45 minutes looking the job over and explaining to me in detail of what he would do and why for free. No Charge! Not even a service charge to show up. As a woman, there have been many times when I don't feel quite comfortable with contractors in my home. I feel as if I may be taken advantage of financially because I don't necessarily understand what I "need" or don't "need". Many times I don?t even know what work they are completing but this definitely was not the case with Paul. He was professional, respectful, and explained in layman's terms of what was happening. I trust him completely. While he was working on my plumbing, he noticed a serious issue with something that I would need to contact another company to do. Not only did he make some recommendations for me, he went as far as contacting them for me so they would have an accurate description of what was going on and what I wanted to have done to fix it. Paul is great, honest and fast. . His pricing seemed fair and reasonable. I appreciated his work so much. Should the need arise; this will be our "go-to" plumber every time. I will definitely call Wolf and Sons Plumbing again. If you want along-term solution to your plumbing needs, then use Wolf and Sons Plumbing; you will not be disappointed.

Paul Wolf did an excellent job. He was friendly and professional. I especially like how he updated the plumbing for the basement utility sink I highly recommend him.

Paul Wolf is very professional and punctual. He not only answered questions about the repair but about a few other projects I had in mind. His methods are meticulous. He was able to do the whole repair from the basement without opening up any walls. He was mindful of messes and had more dropclothes on hand than I would have used if I had done it myself. I highly recommend Paul.

Paul is wonderful. We just purchased this house and the first time we ran the washing machine the water fountained out of the pipes and wasn't draining down the floor drain. Paul came out and discovered that cement had been poured down the floor drain mistakenly by the previous owners. The plumbing was also done in such a way that I had a long walk between my washer and dryer. Paul and I discussed what I wanted my laundry room to look like in the future as we have plans to finish the basement. Rather than having a quick fix, we wanted this room fixed the way it should be. I wanted the wash sink installed (Paul ordered me a real nice wall-mounted sink which was cheaper than the chintzy one we were thinking of) and the washer and dryer together. He ordered parts and came back at a date we agreed would work for us. After getting the required permit, he came and started removing the cement in the floor drain. He reached a point where he was going to have to start taking out the floor but asked if I would like to try a cheaper alternative. Yes! He poured a foul smelling mixture down the drain (a few bottles worth) and it did the job. He let us know that our water shut off for the house does not work which we will be hiring him to fix soon. Our laundry room is great. The plumbing works and we now know that the floor drain works. We had some rain water enter the basement through a cellar door that needs repair. If that had still been clogged we would have flooded. Thank you Paul!

He was on time and very professional from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about plumbing and I won't hesitate to use him again!

He did a very good job. He had to re-route our plumbing under our sink because of a hole in the pipe between the wall.

The day after I had made arrangements with Paul for a routine water softener replacement, I called him in dire straits as our sump discharge line had frozen shut in the severe cold. Paul hustled to finish someone else's burst pipe emergency, and then came over, spending several hours in subzero temps outside, thawing and rerouting the frozen line. Truly exemplary service and dedication, I would recommend him to my best friend.

Paul was on time and got the work done in the allotted amount of time he gave me. He was very professional and informative for the work I had done. Answered all my questions, and showed me how bad my old water heater was, explained the in's and outs of the new equipment to my satisfaction. I would gladly recommend him.

Installed a bathroom cabinet and sink, and hooked up the plumbing. Was prompt and professional. Answered specific questions I had, and helped me make decisions regarding where to place the cabinet so it was most functional.

Paul came over the NIGHT he was first contacted to diagnose the issue and give us our options. His fix was cheaper than what we had come up with as a solution. He then installed the new unit the next morning, so we could go on vacation the next day. Quality was good and he was very professional

I've found a new plumber I trust to be fair, professional and ethical! He called to let me know he was running late on a previous appointment on the day of our appointment. He provided 'show and tell' on what he was doing and why as well as providing guidance on things I should be watching for in my 1939 houses' plumbing systems. I was very happy with the service, price and outcome and will certainly use Wolf & Sons in the future.
