The sales person did a good job explaining options. The installers were on time and worked steady all day. Estimate two days to do work but were able to finish in one day.

Window are fine but the installation was terrible; we had another company redo their work so we had to pay twice for the same job. They would not reimburse us and they never came out to see the mess they made, they said we ruined the trim work!!!

On Saturday April 16, 2016. I had a salesman come to my home to give me a quote to replace my patio door and bay window. The salesman was a typical pushy salesman to try and make a sale. I thought the quote was a high price but knew I needed the windows and that Custom Exterior Solutions was one of the companies that I was interested in. I wanted to wait to get other quotes but the salesman informed me that their "first visit" discounts could not be used if I wanted to wait to see other quotes. After looking at the contract I saw that there was a three business day no fee cancellation clause. At that time I decided to sign the contract to get the price locked in. I also filed paperwork for financing because the two windows/doors were almost $13,000. The salesman assured me that they would wait to run anything until the installer would come to measure and get the exact order in place. The salesman told me not to date the finance paperwork and that he would date it the day that they would process the order. I received another quote on Tuesday April 19, 2016 (2 business days later) from another company and their quote was much better than Exterior Custom Solution's. I could get a better quality window/door for $4000 less than what I was quoted at Exterior Custom Solutions. After finding this information I went and canceled my order. The company assured me that I could not find a cheaper price anywhere and that they had a price match guarantee, but I still wanted to cancel my order. I signed the correct documents to cancel and I thought everything was good. Today, Monday April 25, 2016 I get a credit card in the mail for the purchase of the window/door. When I signed the contract I was told that they were not going to run any paperwork until the order was put together. I looked at my credit report and they ran the finance paperwork on Monday April 18,2016 (the first business day after signing the paperwork). The fact that they ran my credit report and opened a credit card on a three day pending order is completely unprofessional, not to mention that when I went in on Tuesday April 19, 2016 to cancel my order they never even told me that they processed anything for the financing.

Calls to the company and concerns have gone unanswered. Please think twice about using Exterior Custom solutions. The salesman just wanted to make a sale and claimed we got what we ordered. Major concern is the door being raised we want the door flush to the floor as the original door was.
