Drucks Sudden Service

Arrived promptly and was very professional. Put booties on and off every time he went in or out. The water from the toilet tank was majorly dripping out through a loose screw that I couldn't remove. I thought just the screw and washer needed to be replaced, but he said the whole tank had to be replaced. He had the necessary parts in his truck. So it was more expensive and took longer than I expected, but no more leaks now. Also did a good job on clearing the drains in my older home.

First of all, the person that answers the phone at their store, told me that he could be at my house at 9:00am. He didn't show up until 11:30. Then when he finally got here, he had nothing but negative comments about the work that needed to be done. My home is a manufactured home, which means there is no basement to work in, just a crawl space. I wanted both bathrooms gutted and redone, and an addtion to my laundry room. He just kept shaking his head at how hard the work was going to be. When he was ready to leave, he told me he was going to go back to the shop and talk to his boss about my work that needed to be done. He never called back. If the job was too extensive for him, he should have told me when he was at my house, instead of totally ignoring me.

Everything was very positive. It was an emergency situation because we had a leak. I called them around 3:00 and they were able to come the same day. They got the whole job done that day and they removed the old water heater. They got everything cleaned up and it was great. I would recommend them.

Heating technician was very punctual and serviced our furnace thoroughly and quickly. He cleaned everything well and explained a problem he found in terms I could understand.

They did a wonderful job! We called around and they were very competitive and we like that they were a father and son team. They cleaned up really good after themselves.

When I called Druck's, Rochelle the office manager was very pleasant and scheduled the time for the plumber to come over to diagnose the problem based on my best times. About 30 minutes prior to the arrival of the plumber, Rochelle called to say that he was on his way and would be to my home in about 30 minutes. She also said that his name is Phil, and he will be driving a Druck's truck and will be wearing a blue "uniform" with his name on it. This was very nice to know from a personal safety perspective. Phil did arrive within the 30 minutes, politely introduced himself, and asked me to explain the problem. From there he began investigatng the bizarre plumbing setup of our 110-year-old house. Once it was determined that it was, most likely, a plugged lateral from the house out to the city sewer line, he wrote up an estimate to clean out the lateral. His truck did not have the electronic snake on it, so he drove back to the shop to pick it up. Within an hour or so, it was all clear. Once done, Phil explained that the snake to did run into a blockage of some sort about 15' down the lateral, but once it was able to break through, it was clear sailing down to the city sewer line. He also talked to me about an annual service plan for electrical. plumbing, and HVAC. About a week later, Rochelle followed up with a courtesy call to see if all was well.

The service man who came knew what he was doing, and he was very helpful. They called me a couple of times to reschedule. I think I might use them again in the future.

Ryan was extremely professional, on time, and the quote was reasonable. He cleaned the drain, and replaced the piping. I will gladly recommend Drucks for anyone who needs plumbing and drain cleaning services. I will use them again.

It was a good experience with this company and I would certainly use them again. The electrician, Rob, was very understanding when I told him I tried to do it myself. He actually thanked me for not going any further with the project on my own because it made his job that much easier. So true as I probably would have really messed it up. Rob was very professional and polite.

Really, a breeze. They installed a new toilet, with very minimal inconvenience on our part.

Initially we called Drucks for an inspection of our very old boiler at which time, Edgar, the technician advised us that a repair or replacement was in order due to some issue he pointed out. We were having warmer than usual weather at the time so we did not feel the need to rush into a decision but requested a bid after some discussion with the technician about options. We had budgeted some form of central air into 2012 so incorporating that into our decision was a no brainer. We sent the technician on his way to put together a variety of bids to include replacement of the boiler and alternative air conditioning options, and a full switch to forced air and central air to include the duct work. I then set up appointments with a number of other services and began to educate myself on what I would be paying dearly for. I was not sold on Drucks and fully expected to settle on another company but Edgar sealed the deal with his presentation. What a novel idea to have the technician sell the job. He explained each option and answered my questions clearly. I liked that I was getting the time with the person who would be in my home over-seeing the job. This made me feel more comfortable about the job and won me over completely. After getting all my bids in, the weather cooled off again requiring heat. My furnace kicked on one evening and began to send gas fumes up my stairs into my kitchen. We shut it down completely and fortunately had a quality space heater that did a nice job in keeping the house comfortable enough to not jump into panic mode. Never good to make these decisions in panic mode. It was a huge job and a bit unnerving to have my house ripped apart and this monster of a furnace put in my basement but Edgar was there every step of the way making sure it was right. There were a couple drawbacks to the job that I should note just to be fair, they seemed to be short staffed that week so it took longer than anticipated to get the job done, but the technician never stopped working, I don't think he ever took a break. The second drawback was the electrician they brought in, he seemed edgy and appeared to be having a very bad day and did not come off as professional to me. He may have been an excellent electrician but his demeanor left me uneasy and I would not hire him based on this one experience. Honestly, one bid looked like another with minor variations in price and install, they all knew the business well, it was the technician and his presentation that made all the difference on this one. I'm a fan.

The disposal came loose under the sink and leaked a lot of water before we discovered it. I called Druck's late-ish in the afternoon, and was told the plumber could be there between 6 and 8 pm that evening. However, no one came. I called again the next morning, and the receptionist apologized profusely and promised to have the plumber come asap. He apparently did not get the message about the job the previous evening. He arrived within an hour, performed the work required. Other than the mis-communication, I was happy with the work done and I would call Druck's again. I have had heating work done by Druck's in the past, and I've been pleased with the professionalism and the quality of the repairs every time.

Phil did both the estimate and the service. I paid exactly what was quoted without any additional surprises. I was called in advance of his arrival so I was prepared when he arrived. I was informed it would take aproxiately 2hours and the work was completed in and hour. I will definitely use Drucks in the futur

I have used them in the past. I bought a water heater and they replaced it. They were very quick and responded well. They took care of the problem immediately. The price was comparable.

Drucks service has generally been good--they arrive within time frame stated, they seem knowledgable, most of the guys are friendly. We had repair on the furnace which took care of the urgent issue, but ever since then there's been a loud banging sometimes when the unit cycles off. They came to check it out--quite promptly--and the serviceman screwed together some loose pieces of ductwork. That was fine and helped with a different noise, but unfortunately the more bothersome banging noise is still there--maybe because it didn't manifest when the serviceman was here? I would recommend Drucks (but I wish they could help with the banging!). They seem to check things thoroughly when they're here, and they always do a follow-up call a few days later to make sure all is well.

The guy came on time. He told me what he would recommend for a new disposal. I was very happy, he was quick and thorough. He did take my newer plug that I had for the other side of my sink, and left me the old one.

They are a little higher priced but they do a good job. I have never had a problem with them.

Project went GREAT! Very smooth work progression. Well thought out process. Exceptional and complete job. Cleaned up well after job was completed. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. They are one of the best or very likely the best multi service companies in the area. I have used for many years. Always happy with them. They get to you quickly and are very professional!

I liked the fact that they had plumbing, heating, and cooling and offered discounts.

Overall, everything went without a hitch. The technician was professional, and friendly, and explained every question I had with great detail, and expertise. He also checked out, and explained our HRV system, and garage heater. Since we also have 2 A/C units, he explained the "Service Partner Plan" which reduces annual out of pocket expenses in half, if we would get all 4 units inspected each year. I took advantage of that, after seeing the quality of the service I received this time.

We recently bought our house and this upcoming winter will be our first in it. The house is rather old with hydronic hot water heat in it and the original 1950's era furnace/boiler. Before we closed, our inspector said we would want to have our furnace looked over before winter. It was so old and big that he thought a cleaning and tune-up would help it run more efficiently. So we called Druck's and they sent over their most experienced boiler man and another technician (one of their trucks had broken down and so they were doubling-up.) The boiler expert, Tim, said that while he had never seen our specific boiler, he had worked with many of this age. They cleaned out under the burn area, cleaned the burners and oiled the motors among other things. Tim also showed me how to bleed my radiators, and pointed out several areas that I should keep my eye on; i.e. the heat exchanger had some scale on it, etc. With two technicians, it went twice as fast (though I imagine that isn't usual), but it allowed plenty of time for me to ask questions, and to get some pointers on the most efficient use of my furnace.
