I ended up going with a different contractor just based on price alone. I would call them again for future Quotes

ARC (Greg Linse and Derek Johnson) met with insurance adjuster to determine the scope of damage. Once repairs were initiated further insurance negotiations were necessary which they took care of completely. Their choice of subcontractors took into consideration the original quality and integrity of the home. The quality of the work seems to be excellent. They seem to be a company that will stand behind it's work. We are well satisfied.

Roofing crew did complete job in one day. It was dark by the time they were cleaning up, so some of the debris was missed, but most of it was cleaned up. Roof looks very nice - haven't had any bad weather yet, but everything looks great.

Went pretty well. The project manager from ARC was very responsive. Guide me with everything from talking to Insurance Agents to getting required papers from the Bank to the closing of the project. Kept me in the loop at every stage of the project.

We were actually out of town during the work. Came home to a place that looked untouched - except we had a new roof. All correspondence with ARC was exceptional. A one day job compared to other companies. Did not have to wait 5 months for work to be done like other companies.

Tom, the project manager, was professional and an excellent communicator. Workers were professional, careful and skilled. Excellent coordination between ARC and our insurance company.

We were very, very happy. It went very well. I was very happy. They did an awesome job. They were very patient with me because I was really nervous about making decision about the roof coloring. They were very helpful. I just can't say enough nice things about them. They did a nice job. They cleaned up afterwards. I was very pleased with them.

ARC came the same day as my flood. They started cleaning up, especially working to save the new carpet. They re-installed the carpet after the flood and it looked great.

Joe, our ARC red was courteous did professional. He kept us informed and oversaw the entire process, I wholehearted recommend ARC!

Danny came to house (kind and patient), looked at roof, found damage. Came back when insurance company agent was there, excellent rapport with insurance company and us. Roof scheduled when convenient for us and excellent work. Fantastic follow through to job completion. Would definitely refer to others.

Let me start by saying that I wanted to and planned on giving ARC a glowing report in the beginning and how much, at this point, I dislike having to write this unfavorable report!!! A neighbor had asked me if I had my house checked for hail damage. We had received several mailings and door hangers from ARC. I had seen all the signs of construction companies (most were ARC) all around my neighborhood and did some quick research on a company called ARC. Seemed like good company based on my brief research. It looked like they did good work so I called ARC for a free estimate round about Sept. 2012 to check for hail damage from a storm in June 2012(?). They came over and did the inspection and explained the results. I learned quite a bit and yes there was hail damage. From that point there were phone calls to the insurance company and ARC and everything was moving along. We had the insurance adjuster come over and were informed of the damages. We got bogged down in deciding the color combinations of the new siding, gutters and downspouts. It did take a few weeks to decide largely because of our busy life at the time. When the colors were finally chosen, I think it was early November 2012. We had been told all along that they were running a couple weeks behind so that was no surprise. So guess what, after a couple weeks that put us into Thanksgiving time. We had great weather for weeks on end through October, November and December 2012. We didn't get any phone calls or communication. In the mean time I had removed the siding, gutters and downspouts anticipating the soon arriving siding installers. Now we are in early December 2012 and a big blizzard was coming so I called them finally and refreshed there memory of me and my house. I did get some immediate reaction and then nothing. No communication. I had to call them again. I understand it took time to recover from the storm but then it was Christmas time. I had to call again and shock-surprise not till after the New Year. Finally two weeks into the new year the siding people showed up at 7am and had the job done by noon. Looks great but the still no phone calls. Then the gutter and downspout people came and did their job very speedy once they showed up...just a couple hours. Speedy. Here we are in almost mid February 2012. Still no phone calls from anybody. Not the insurance company and not ARC and the job is still not complete. It is close to done for the first part of the contract but as of now the job is not done. Do I have to be a nag to get this company to do anything after the contract is signed and the check is signed over to them? Is that what everybody else had to do? The ARC people were wonderful, informative and patient on the front end but then what happened after the check was signed? Did I fall through the cracks or what? Didn't my last phone call have any lasting effect or carry any weight? I called the insurance company and told them what was happening with ARC and they shared that my complaint wasn't the first one they received about ARC. I am a very understanding person and I believe I have given much leeway to ARC. So now I will be calling them again and reintroduce myself to the company and that I was paying them over $10,000 and the job that began in September 2012 is still not finished in February 2013 and maybe we will get something worked out and the job will get completed. I really do not like to write these types of comments but for the sake of others I feel the necessity to do so.

Went well they were on time as scheduled and they did good work!

All work was done in a professional and timely manner. They were easy to work with and minor damage (broken thermometer and scratched window), was quickly and fairly dealt with. I would happily use them again.

The ARC representative was prompt and informative. He let me know how things were progressing every day that he worked in the basement. He communicated well with my insurance provider. I was very satisfied with the service. I felt I could trust the service provider, as he was very friendly and polite.

Weather delayed the siding installation, but once the work was underway it was finished quickly. My house looked much better with the updated color and style of siding.

My roof was damaged by Hurricane Ike. They were able to inspect and report on the damage timely. They helped me through the insurance claim process. They met every date they promised, and were attentive to me when it appeared the wrong materials had been delivered.

The and quot;construction consultantand quot; approached us and offered to inspect the property. Having done so, he drew up a contract and promised to accompany the adjuster from the insurance company. Good to his promise, he was here to point out anything the insurance adjuster might have missed and, since they both used the same software in generating estimates, they were exact. No surprises. The wording of the contingency agreement portion of the contract made it seem like we were agreeing to an open-ended contract where we had no idea what our financial commitment would be. That contract was voided in writing via fax and the work was agreed upon when we were sure our only obligation was payment of the insurance deductible. The 3,300 sq. ft roof was done in a day and the siding took two days. 263 feet of Gutters were replaced in about two hours. A cheap outdoor thermostat was broken and the satellite dish was knocked out of alignment by the siding crew. A bush got trampelled, but it will survive. The receipts for needed replacement/repair were given to the and quot;construction consultantand quot; and the costs were immediately deducted from our final bill. No hassles. The crews worked hard and Andrew, the and quot;construction consultantand quot; was easy to contact via cell or email and good to work with.

Workers had a good work ethic and did a quality job.

Arc worked very hard to make sure I was satisfied with their work. They were in my house on a daily basis for 4+ months and I felt very confident that Phil, the project leader, was paying attention to every detail and concern of mine. We hit a few bumps in the road, as do all major rehab projects, but Phil was quick to do whatever necessary to make sure the issues were resolved. I felt 100% confident that he was going to do whatever it took to make sure I was pleased with the work. I would highly recommend Arc for any type of rehab project or roofing job. They are a very ethical company and I was super pleased with their work.

I would recommend them. They are very polite and very efficient, and they just did a good job. One of the gentleman went above and beyond by creating a special piece for above the garage door that he made himself.

Great work! Honest salesman did work per work order. Professional staff. Would work with the Arc again.

Came to the door with an estimate (per scope of loss) to see it we would qualify for a new roof. I was told they would help facilitate with the insurance company. They were able to coordinate and get a new roof in a limited amount of time.

I was extremely impressed with the manner of professionalism that was used in dealing with our home repairs. The project manager, Wayne, not only handled everything with our insurance company, he was there every step of the way to make sure that we were extremely happy. All of our questions were answered very quickly and concisely. The crew was very professional and took extra care to protect our landscaping and did a great job cleaning up during the roof installation. When the roof was finished the whole crew walked around the whole house to double check that everything was picked up very thoroughly. I could not believe they finished my whole roof in one day! I was very impressed with everyone that I spoke with at Arc Contracting. Thank you very a job very well done.
