We were contacted,estimate given and work performed per estimate.

It got off to a rocky start. We really like their ideas and they provided us with a quote. The written quote that we signed was okay, then before the work started the plumber and electrician said we have to do this and this which was not in the original quote that we signed. It came back more than what she signed. The quality of the work was good. They were always on time.

It was a good construction. The carpenters were good. They did everything on time. They were clean. I had done a kitchen remodel in the past with another company and I compared the two. I preferred the other company's kitchen. Their price was about the same, but the quality of the cabinets that the other company uses is better. I would not use them again in the future.

They were very responsive and very professional.

Callen is a good professional company. I am going into a different direction because of the price.

Crystal at Callen was wonderful to work with. She was very professional & punctual when she arrived for our appointment. The guys that came out to do the installation were great too. They tried hard to keep the cold contained to a small area since we were replacing the windows in the winter. They also did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day. We were very happy with the company & even happier with our new windows!

Everyone from the sales person to those who installed the siding, etc. were very professional and hard-working. Derrick, the lead siding expert went above and beyond in many instances. The final result is excellent, receiving many compliments from neighbors. I would hire this company again in a heart beat.

As I experienced with previous work done by Callen Construction, all involved were most professional. Work was done carefully to protect the living room floor. All the workers cleaned up when the work was complete. I highly recommend Callen Construction!

Because the estimate for the cost of the project was considerably more than I had anticipated spending, I did not pursue the remodeling project with Callen Construction.

It was excellent. They were friendly people and easy to work with. They did what we wanted. We had ideas and they worked with us on that. The carpenter was excellent and a really nice guy. He was a really good, super carpenter. They worked with us on everything and we got what we wanted. The price was appropriate to the work done and I didn't do any comparison on that. We just worked with them when we made the decision and did not go through multiple estimates. We actually have some future project that we are talking about and would definitely use them again.

They came over and gave a quote. Once we signed, they came again to measure and in less than two weeks they called saying three windows were ready and we set a date for install. The weather cooperated and in less than a week they were in. I love the double hung windows for ease of cleaning.

.I am going to end up having him to do some work for me. I have had no problem with him. He seems to be very interested. He seems to be a pretty fair guy. We are still looking for some siding to get something matched up. I will use him in the future.

As usual, Callen workers came right on time. Every day. Both were friendly and very willing to explain in detail the work they were doing. Both were willing to work around my unusual work schedule. Project manager did explain in detail the exact process, and when I was unsure of a certain aspect, came to my house in order to more fully explain, drawing a picture in order to clarify the plan. Workers kept me abreast of their progress, and were considerate enough to avoid blocking my way with their vehicle and work areas. The soffits turned out perfectly. There is not one single area that looks like a hurried job. One minor detraction: the project manager, probably used to dealing with male clients, sometimes used an abrupt tone. Men may not object to this, but women, especially with home repair issues, need a more service-industry approach. Though not condoning this, I realize it's probably a standard issue with the male dominated home repair industry. I'm sure Callen is the type of company that would gladly rectify this problem. After the job was completed, Callen did not stray from the contract. The salesman brought over the warranty information, explained Callen's willingness to stand by their product, and only requested the final payment after I had certified that the work was fully completed and that I was satisfied. I would like to add that the first job Callen did for me, the skylight, did have two issues; one was an unusual hollow echo in the room and some leakage with rain. On both issues, the response of Callen was immediate: for the first issue, the salesman came out the same day and investigated. On the second issue, 10 MINUTES after calling Callen with the leakage problem, two roofers arrived to fix the problem (which also resolved the echo). So, it's evident that Callen does indeed take their customer satisfaction seriously.

At the time of installation, my daughter had been brutally murdered two weeks earlier and I was NOT as diligent as I should have been. I could not stay in the house immediately after her death and was not there for most of the time that the windows were installed. I was pretty much in shock after she was killed. I stayed away from the house which I shared with her for over a year. NONE of the windows were caulked on the inside. I ended up caulking them myself. Some of the felt weatherstripping that was on the inner surface of the windows came out and it has been difficult for me to re-insert. The workers were professional in their demeanor but the work itself was poorly done. Since so much time transpired from the time of installation and the time I moved back into the house, I DID NOT feel that I could complain to Callen but I will NOT recommend them to anyone.

The staff was very professional and responded timely to our request for an estimate and for completion of the work. They made extra visits at the time of evaluating the old windows and at the time of installation to insure that the new windows would fit into our 85 year old brick house with an overall arch over three windows. Our questions were thoroughly answered by Crystal. They added leaded glass strips to the final installed windows to match the look of the other windows in our house.

They were very efficient and did good quality work. They were very professional, probably not the cheapest, but worth the money. They did an excellent job on covering the exterior frame of the windows with aluminum.

I would recommend them. I had them work on my house in Milwaukee. It has specialized siding so I was very happy with them. They did a very good job of finding the siding and I had to replace singles so they had siding that looked very close to what I had. I had an odd curve between the first and second floor and they were able to handle that. Anybody else who looked it said that they couldn’t do anything. They were able to handle an unusual situation with my house. I would use them again in the future.

They were very good. The young man who can was very efficient and neat. He did well. They do good work. He did a good job of cleaning up and nothing was left on the ground. He came and did his work and left. I never had any problem with anything there. They were very good. I would use them again if I have something which they can do.

They were very professional. They had done work for us previously and I was very pleased with them. They were very helpful and they explained the whole process. They did in a certain amount of time. They are on time and their quality of work is good. If I had any questions and they came out immediately and adjusted it right away.

Good job, there was a problem with work but they are wokring to fix problem

I found them through a home show. I am deciding what I need to do with the walls, and they are currently taking a look and making a recommendation for the changes to be made for countertops and backsplash. They are doing fine. I do not have any objections to them at all. I did not have to spend any money for them to come out today. I think I would use them again in the future.

They had a very good product, but I thought they were extremely overpriced. They did not do any work for me. I saw them at a home improvement show and talked to one of their sales reps. They called me over the phone. We went actually to their dealership to look at the material. They sent their representative out to my house to go through and measure everything and give me an estimate. Then I decided to go with a different company. I thought the installation cost, not the product so much, was very overpriced. It was a good product, but it was out of my budget. The estimate was around $20000.00. They were very informative. They had an excellent product. I really have nothing negative to say about them other than I thought it was overpriced. I actually ended up buying the same style windows with the same warranty from another company for $14000.00. They were very nice and very respectful. There is nothing bad to say about them other than I thought it was overpriced and more than I was willing to spend. They were very responsive. The gentleman that came out and showed us the windows was on time. He was knowledgeable about the product. I have no complaints. He was very professional.

Overall, this is a beautiful product and I get comments on it everytime someone comes through the door. The workmen were very professional and neat. A few concerns: the door did not lock properly and I had to have someone come back and adjust the lock. I would have thought that this is something the installer would check before leaving my property. Second, some of the door trim was damaged when the installer opened the package and it somehow became my problem to contact the manufacturer and arrange for the warranteed replacement parts. I had to put the finish on the product myself - for $3,800 I would think this would be covered. Last, because I wanted the tax credit for this door I needed a receipt that indicated the cost of the door only - no labor. I have been unable to get this from Callen in spite of several request.

They were prompt and the gutters work good.
