Bill's Land Survey Service

This is the only person you want if you're considering any type of land survey service. Bill is very dedicated to his profession and demonstrates this in his work. He was prompt, explained exactly what he would be doing and answered all our questions. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be recommending Bill to anyone who is in need of this service.

Bill was extremely professional and courteous through the entire process. He was quick to respond and provided a land survey of our new property in a timely manner. Even though we were out of town, he was great at communicating his progress to us via email and we are extremely happy with the service we received.

Bill was extremely responsive, calling and emailing in response to my questions. I needed a survey done in a fairly short time frame so that I knew where my lot lines were (in order to put in a new driveway). Bill clearly marked the lines. He talked to my neighbors who were also interested in where the boundaries were. He promptly produced a map to document the line locations. He did great work!

Bill returned the call promptly with an estimate. I did not use his service because we needed the survey completed before he could provide it. Appreciated his honesty in stating he would not be able to meet my time frame because of prior commitments

He was very reasonably priced, he is honest, polite and just a really nice guy. He also did a great job and answered all of my questions.

I contacted Bill Karpen on or about May 21, 2013 and he got back to me right away. I sent him a deposit and he got to work. He got to my house and collected the data and I had the survey by the first week of June. I would hire him again. Indeed, I gave his name and number to my mother who is a real estate broker for her rolodex.

I contacted Bill after reading his stelllar reviews on Angie's List, and now I am leaving my own stellar review! I emailed Bill and he called me immediately - within an hour or two. I needed a survey of my yard to get a permit to put up a garden shed. I was in a bit of a hurry to get the shed up as I don't have a garage and needed a place to store things for the winter, and it was already late October. Bill emailed me a proposal, fit me into his schedule, performed the work and even drove the maps over to my house and dropped them off in person because he knew I wanted to get them quickly. He could not have been more pleasant or professional. He also gave me the right advice on how to find out about a utility pole easement; I had already made numerous phonecalls and everybody pointed to somebody else. Bill told me to check my title policy and if there were no easements listed to contact the title company. He even offered to contact them for me, but that was easy enough for me to do and I had my answer within an hour, after days of getting the runaround from everyone else! I have only positive things to say about Bill and wholeheartedly recommend his services.

I just purchased a home and was unsure of the lot lines- but needed to know so I could install a fence. THis is an acre lot - wooded and very hilly. I had trouble getting through it, but Bill did an excellent job. He showed up when he said he would and had the property lines marked prior to my deadline. THere was a bit of a concern with a previous survey, and Bill explained all the potential ramifications very well. He was professional and thorough.

Bill met all the expectations I had and that we agreed to. Very polite and focused, easy to get in contact when needed and was thorough with results.

We contacted Bill for an updated survey after our landscaper told us we needed a survey within one year to get a building permit.We were initially told that the surveyor who did the survey in 1987 when we purchased the house was too busy to get the update done in time for the project start date. The landscaper suggested another surveyor for $800. Bill was so honest that while he said he would be happy to help us out if needed, he strongly encouraged us to contact the original surveyor ourselves to get a quote. If we still needed him to do the survey for the deadline, his quote was half the price that we had been told by the landscaper. What an ethical, honest man!!! While we didn't need to hire him, we would recommend him to everyoen who needs a survey.

I needed to add an addition to my fence so I wanted the entire property line surveyed so that there would be no questions from my neighbors as far as the accuracy of my fence line was concerned. I called Bill to discuss the project and to give him some information on my property. He called me back shortly afterwards to give me his estimate and when he could come out to perform the service. He arrived on time and proceeded to get right to work. The project took about six hours and it even began to rain at one point in the middle of his survey, but Bill kept on working. He found property markers that I did not even know existed when I moved into my house right after construction. Bill was very quiet, polite and professional in his job. He performed the work to my full satisfaction and as promised sent me all the documentation on the survey a week later. I would highly recommend him to anyone and have done so already to some of my colleagues at work. Overall, I was very happy with the experience.

Bill was quick to provide an estimate and provide his services. The neighbors commented on how professional he was when he was locating landmarks around their properties. The lines are marked and I am confident that they are in the correct location.

Bill was very easey to work with. He knew exactly what I needed and was prompt to provide an estimate of his services. He spent two afternoons measuring, checking and cross-checking measurements to accurately gather the needed data for my survey.I also know he spent more time researching information to complete my survey. My experience with Bill was entirely excellent. He called me back the same day and we discussed my survey request in detail. Basically, it was done in order for me to obtain a permit to replace a fence in my backyard. Bill emailed me a contract explaining the work that was to be performed and his cost for that work.
