Still Sealcoating

This company offered a special deal for asphalt seal coating on Angie's list, we paid it through Angie's list and they never showed up. We called them repeatedly and they kept saying they would come but they never did, so we cancelled the whole deal after about three weeks of phone calls and unfulfilled promises!

E-mailed in spring to set up a sealcoating of my driveway. Reply was prompt and was told I'd be added to schedule, probably in June. Didn't hear back from them till a day before the job was to be done that they were coming the next day. A little more notice would have been nice to arrange to have my vehicles in the street. However, job was done well and at a nice price. I will call them again for sure.

End result is it beat us having to reseal our driveway and they do it so much quicker.

They seemed to do a good job. They were scheduled for last year, but it got cold. They followed up this year. I will let you know about the product that they use. I would evaluate using them again if the product holds up.

The pressure washing was done within a few days and was a beautiful job. Now, three weeks later I can't get the company to keep the appointments for the sealing. I have phoned the number provided to be told that the person answering was working on asphalt sealing not concrete sealing. But a message would be passed to the boss. Never got a call. Finally on 6/26 Tuesday, I got an e-mail that the company would be here "tomorrow" It is now Friday, 6/29 and concrete is still not sealed and I have not received any communication as to why they weren't here on the date scheduled and when they possibly would be here. Name of company shoud be STILL INBUSINESS? Previous rave reviews must have been written by family members :)

It went well. We have a short driveway and they did the coat to our satisfaction.

After purchasing the service from Angies List., the company contacted me virtually immediately. We set up an appointment, but the employees were a little late, but it did not inconvenience me. The work turned out very well.

They did an okay job. It was just average.

Still Sealcoating came to my home and assessed the additional cost needed to complete the square footage of my driveway. There was an additional $155.00 needed, above the $89.00 member fee. I called to say I wanted to have the work done, but at a later time. The company called a couple times to schedule the work while they were working in my area. On both occasions I told them that I wanted to be home when they did the work and that I had 2 months off in the summer. The last time they called, I gave them the same response, but I was surprised to arrive home from work on May 29th to see the work had been completed - in my absence. I called to inquire about the miscommunication and I got an apology. There was a mix-up in the work orders and instead of putting my work aside, it was put in the pile for work to be done. I told them that I wouldn't complain too much because the work was done well, but I had a few questions about an area that was left untreated. I have since discovered a deep hole next to my house, leading under my porch. The owner assured me that they would send someone out to answer my questions about their work. I mailed a check for the balance due on May 31, 2012.

They were always responsive whether by e-mail or by phone, very friendly and very professional. I had heard about a slightly better price & they price matched on the spot and e-mailed me an updated quote the same day. As I contacted them in April, they called to say that they would call back when the weather was consistently 50º day/night. I did not have to do any follow-up wondering if they were going to show up. They called again 2nd week in May stating they would be in the area on May 16 and planned on doing my driveway around noon. They called again the morning of to confirm the time & service as well as remind us to stay off the driveway for 24 hours. They did a fantastic job - no spills, everything neat & tiday & it looks great!

In general someone usually responded to my phone calls within 1 business day, unfortunately they couldn't always make the appointment for the asphalt repair, so scheduling was a bit of phone-tag. Nothing bad, but it helped to be on top of it. The asphalt repair schedule was last minute, but they showed up the day they said they would and the repair job looks good to me. The seal-coating, which was a separate appointment looks good, but I'll admit I would have applied the crack filler to more areas then they did (my drive has quite a few cracks in it). I am no asphalt expert, so we will find out how well it looks after winter :) My driveway looks much better now then before and it was less costly then replacing it so I'm happy.

They came out the next day after calling them and provided a quote. We arranged a date and time for the following week. A crew of men showed up and had it done in an hour. Great work!!

It was good. My wife was there while he was doing the work and he did a high quality job.

They did a good job. Their price was the best of the three estimates that I had got.

They told me that they would give me an additional 10 percent discount after they had done the work if I gave a good report on them on Angie's List. That kind of turned me off and I chose not to use them. I did not like how they were operating as far as that was concerned, and so I would not use them. They had already included 10 percent discount since I was a member of Angie's List, but then they told me about the additional 10 percent recent off if I gave them a good report. I don't think that is a good way to do business. I didn't really talk to anyone from that company and it was just leaving them a message and then getting a report. They did come when they said they would come out.

They came out an did an estimate and we made a date for the work. Since June was very wet we just got the driveway done yesterday 7/7. They did an excellent job. They did for get to patch a small area, however after calling and explaining the situation they will be making a second trip to fix this issue. I am sure they will take care of this . I am very pleased with the overall quality of work.

We contacted 3 companies through Angie's List. Still Sealcoating was not only the lowest priced estimate for similar work, they were also the fastest to respond with an estimate--by many days. When we hired them to do the job, they said they would be able to be there the very next week and get it done before the 4th of July. They were...and they did!!! They arrived quite early in the morning of a hot summer day and began prepping and cleaning the driveway. We wondered why they drove off before the actual sealcoating began, but found out after the job was done. It seems that they had come across an ant infestation in one of the cracks. Ants just kept coming out and coming out. They did take care of the ants! Then they carefully completed the job, filling the cracks, evening the grass edges of the driveway, and sealcoating the drive. They made sure we knew we shouldn't drive on it for at least 24 hours, and blocked the end of the driveway to protect it. We feel as if we got a good deal and a great job from Still Sealcoating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I will happily have them come back the next time we need our driveway sealed!!

Quality of the job was excellent. They trimmed off the organic material at all the borders, filled the cracks and coated the drive with a coating that had enough solids for coverage. The drive had not been coated in several years so it was thirsty but the coating came out very uniform and neat. the trim where the drive abutts a patio was done very well. Overall, the job was done professionally and very well and I would use them again. I recommend them.
