Still Sealcoating

Once the workers showed up they were quick to start which was great. They did their job and left.

The crew of three was prompt, finished the job quickly and neatly, and was courteous and professional in every respect. It was late in the season and the temperature was almost too low to apply the hot emulsion sealer. The crew took care to mix in extra binder and be sure the mix was at an appropriate temperature to apply. Three months later the job looks great. They took care to finish the edges of the drive without slopping onto the lawn or adjacent areas. Nice guys, good work, fair price.

. It took several weeks for them to remove the stain. One of the pressure washer machines broke down during the process. The work was done in July, so it was very hot and h****** the people and the machines. It then took them one day to do the staining.

Prompt service great prep work,great job and clean up afterward. Would definetly call them back!

Price was a bit higher as they ended up having to do more prep work than expected but overall it looks fabulous and I am very happy.

It took a few weeks to get them out to do the work, but it was in the very busy season so that's expected. The job they did , was quick and quality.

I purchased the $99 "deal" for having my driveway sealed. I have no complaints about the quality of work, and I would consider hiring them again IF I had an estimate for the job first. But the amount I ended up paying was by FAR the most I have ever been charged, and far more than I have ever been quoted by any company, so I would never again make this purchase on Angie's List!

they had come over and given me an estimate--even before I had contacted them. I did pay a little extra---about $50 I requested they do the work while I was on vacation so not being able to use driveway was not an issue. never actually met anyone. was handled over the phone and e-mail estimate. I came home and everything was taken care of.

The job went very well over all from beginning to end and on time.

It went very well. The driveway was blown free of debris, small cracks filled, and then seal coated. It looked very nice when completed, and it still looks nice many months later.

Excellent job sealcoating the driveway, but didn't contact us beforehand. We would have liked to clear the strip alongside the garage so it could've been coated, too, but we didn't know they were coming the day they came. Still, can't fault the work. It was good.

I called to set up appointment. They were punctual with their estimate, happy to email, call or send it to me. It was costlier that I thought because the price was only for a certain amount of square feet. They explained this. I had to change dates a few times and they were cordial and worked around it for my convenience. When completed, they emailed me the bill and I inspected it. Job well done

We ordered a deal from Angie's list and we contacted them right away. They were able to perform the service shortly there after. Their estimate was less than other companies. They completed the work quickly and did a great job.

Purchased Big Deal. Thought I would save money compared to people who patrol the neighborhood and leave estimates in the mail box. Not only was this company more expensive (even considering the Big Deal, but they were sloppy--left residue and infilled spots. Did NOT respond to the fact that I was dissatisfied.

On June 23rd, I purchased the "Angie's List Big Deal" for 99.00 for the first 800 Square Feet. I called them that day, and spoke with a young man who sounded quite distracted, but managed to find a piece of paper to take my name, number and address. He said someone would be in touch. Well, no one ever called back, but almost 2 weeks later on July 5th someone showed up out of the blue to measure our driveway. On July 6th we received an email with an invoice/estimate on what it would cost to seal our driveway of 2165sq. ft. Now July 3- July 17 was a very busy time for us as we had family and friends in from out of town, so I didn't have a chance to reply back until after they left. On July 18th in the morning I replied to the email asking when the soonest they had was available. I didn't get a reply, so I called and left a message the next day and if they could seal the driveway on that Friday or Saturday since we were going to be camping that weekend and the Camper wouldn't be on the driveway so it was a perfect time to come and seal it. No one every called or replied to those messages that week. Then on July 23rd at 8pm at night I received a call they wanted to come early in the morning around 7 or 8 am to Seal our driveway. Well, we had just returned that evening from our camping trip and were unpacking and this wasn't enough notice for us to move the trailer for them to come that early in the morning. I asked if they could come later in the day, and he said it had to be early in the morning. I said we wouldn't be able to move our camper before then, So I suggested the next time we'd be camping is on August 17th, and if they could come that Friday or Saturday, that would be a better time for us and give us time to move the camper. But, the person I spoke to didn't seem to want to commit to that date (even though it was almost a month out!) and said he'd check with his boss,so he said he'd pencil me in for that date. I never heard back on whether or not that day was confirmed until the day before August 17th. They called and said they'd be out early in the morning, but I said that we wouldn't have the camper off the driveway until noon. The person I spoke to said he'd write it down so they didn't come till after noon. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when we returned from our trip. Luckily when we returned, the driveway was sealed and dry so we could pull back in. It looked nice. My husband and I inspected it, and the cracks still seemed to be there, though. I had thought sealing cracks would level them out, but apparently not. There was also an area that wasn't sealed under an evergreen tree that had grown over our driveway. I would have cut it before hand had I known they wouldn't seal underneath it. No one had mentioned in the estimate that this would need to be done before they arrived. The story doesn't end there. Since I wasn't home when they came to seal our driveway, I sent them a check in the mail to pay for the service. Well, on Tuesday September 4th, I received a garbled voicemail from someone at Still SealCoating. I had to listen to it 3 times before I understood that their dog ate the check and that he was going to send the check back to me. Well, I waited, but the check never came. Then on September 19th I received a phone call from Nate who repeated the same thing that was left in the voicemail on 9/4, as if it was the first time someone was calling me about it. He asked if he could send the chewed up check back to me and if I could send a new check. I said that was fine. The chewed up check arrived on 9/20. It would have been nice if he had offered some sort of discount or compensation for the inconvenience - or at least a postage paid envelope for me to send him back another check. I guess overall I'm disappointed in the lack of professionalism around email and phone call responses, lack of communication with the me as the customer, and lack of wanting to commit to a scheduled date (Last minute seems to be how they worked depending on who else they had scheduled in the area) . If I hadn't paid the $99 Angie' list deal up front, I wouldn't have continued to pursue them to get my driveway sealed. I also would question how they manage finances (why did the dog have access to the mail to chew up the check!?) I can somewhat empathize as we have 2 dogs, but I blame myself if they chew something up because I'm the one who left it in a dog accessible location in the first place. So I can't blame a dog for chewing up a check, but I can only blame the owner for leaving it in a place the dog has access to. I'm sorry to say our neighbor asked who sealed our driveway because he wanted to seal his, too, and I couldn't recommend Still Sealcoating. So he went with Merit Asphalt, who did a very nice job.

Driveway looks good. I'd rrecommend them if it holds up to normal wear as it should.

I have fairly large driveway and had some weeds on driveway. Most of them I removed just before this application. But they mentioned that they will take care of it so I do not need to work on that. They did poor job removing any weeds. I see thin coating over weeds which was useless. I took several pictures of weeds coming out the next day and email them same week. They never responded to any emails or phone calls. Apparently I was told that there is one year warranty for any cracks that may develop - they will come and fix it. Does it even hold any weight? Also there was a lot of debris - "big garbage patches" left on my lawn which I had to remove right away to prevent my lawn to have big patches. I wish I can upload pics.

They responded quickly and did a great job. Will use them again!

My driveway was a mess, and for now, replacing it is not an option. I am wonderfully astounded at the professional job they did. Don't call anyone else. Thank you guys!

they came when they said they would and patched the crack in the driveway that i pointed out

We liked them. It was easy to schedule an appointment. They came right away and got it done. I would use them again. I had a coupon so the price was descent.

I didn't even have to call to schedule. They called me!! what a joy. Called at 8, arrived right on time.Prompt,professional and even gave good cleanup advise when acertain cocker spaniel,stepped where they shouldn't..all is well!
