Semper Fi Roofing & Exteriors

Vito had come out to provide an estimate at the beginning of March. He went on roof to measured it and check it out. He was honest and very pleasant. He left us a binder with company information, insurance information, consumer report of shingle comparison, warranty information, financing information, shingle flyers for the shingles they install, finally the estimate for each type of shingle and what is included. Once we decided to use Semper Fi, Vito came back to confirm which shingle we wanted and to sign the contract. He said that Sarah would call us when the supplies were in and our house could be done. Sarah called just a little over a week later to tell me there was an opening in the schedule where they could do our roof since it was only one day and rain had caused a 3-day job to be postponed. The supplies were delivered on Friday and Monday morning at 7am the crew was on site to work. They put tarps on the ground, plywood along the sides of the house over the bushes and flowers. There was one incident where one gutter cover was torn during the roof tear-off. The guys stopped and I was informed of the situation. Knowing the guards have been on for 9+ years, I was not too concerned. They were able to reuse it, but I know they will need to be replaced. When they were finished, they raked the yard, went over the grounds with a magnet and finally swept the patio amd walkways. During the job Vito stopped by to see how things were going. At the end one person did a walkthrough with me and I was given a booklet with the checklist, warranty, contact information, sites to make comnents about the company and referral cards. I was very pleased with this company.

It's one thing to decline work which I would have been ok with. But it's just rude to not even respond.

Excellent! We worked with Vito, the owner, who was always accessible. Due to an opening in the contractor's schedule, we were able to have the work done weeks ahead of schedule. The crew arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. When we came home after work, the only evidence that anyone was there was the new roof which looked great!

We own a huge extended bungalow and the entire roof needed to replaced. I called 8 different company's - received several quotes. The price that we received from Semper-Fi (Vito) was neither hi, nor low? right in the middle. My husband chose Semper-Fi because the owner (Vito, the guy my husband met with and received the quote from) was actually ?on the job? ? working with the crew, not just a salesman. Very knowledgeable! Great communication! They arrived early in the morning and worked well into the evening. They came back the next morning for a couple of hours to finish the detached garage. Everything was cleaned up before noon. The dumpster was gone before I came home from work & I was amazed at how everything was ?cleaned up? when they left. Great Company - Vito and his CREW are awesome - fantastic! And I know this is politically incorrect ? but his entire crew spoke ENGLISH! The roofing company we had replace our roof 10 years ago, only the ?foreman? spoke English. Semper-Fi did an awesome job, from Vito to his ENTIRE crew! We have already recommended Semper-Fi to some people!

The crew arrived mid morning and went right to work. Each crew member had their job and performed it efficiently. They all worked well together. They covered all my plants (and my neighbor's, too) and did a great job making sure that debris was contained and cleaned up before they left. A few hours after they arrived you couldn't even tell they had been here except I had a new roof!

Have used them twice. Provides discount for veterans. It went fine.

I called them on Monday and was told there was a flat rate of $375 for repairs and that Ryan would come by sometime during the week to check out the roof. Ryan came out on Tuesday to look at it, called me right away and scheduled that he would be out by the weekend to do the repairs. He called the next day and came out to repair our roof, despite the miserable weather. This was the 3rd roofer I had contacted and they were the first who actually followed through and blew away my expectations in terms of timeline. I definitely plan to call back for any future roofing needs. Thank you!!!

Excellent experience...from the initial meeting with Vito to the completion. Sarah and Vito and the entire staff were wonderful to work with. They were prompt, very professional and went out of their way to work with us and the insurance/mortgage company. (we had hail damage) The team arrived as scheduled, worked from sun up to sun down. They always completely cleaned up the area when they were finished. The new roof is great! Adds so much to our home's exterior.......We would absolutely recommend Semper Fi Roofing to everyone!! They were quick (about two days) and they were very professional and thorough. This was a difficult job a 1920s duplex with a steep roof. We are very pleased and we would recommend them highly. Quick prompt and a great price!

They did a complete tearoff of the roof which had three layers on it. They replaced some decking that was damaged. Then laid down new shingles and vents.on both my home and garage. They had a dumpster in for disposal of all the materials. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. Then I had new gutters and downspouts installed. Excellent installation, very knowledgeable, professional, puntual. Would definitely use them again.

The team at Semper Fi was wonderful - I regret that I didn't write this review immediately after they completed the work. This was my first experience with roofing and Vito patiently answered all my questions and provided a thorough explanation of the work he and his crew would do to replace the roof on my new home. The communication with both Vito and Sarah (office manager) was prompt and inspired confidence that my roof was in good hands. The work on the roof (1500 sq ft ranch-style home) was completed in less than a day and the only evidence they were ever there was my beautiful, impeccably installed new roof and the dumpster that was picked up first thing the next morning. I have seen both Vito and Sarah at home shows since the installation and I'm always sure to stop and say hi, knowing that they will be on the short list of those I call with new projects on my home.

I could not have asked for a better experience with Semper Fi. From the very professional quote, the handling of questions and scheduling by the office, and phone calls to let us know that he would be late, Vito and his staff did a fantastic job with our roof and gutter replacement. The complete removal of three layers of roofing on all of our property's building, the installation of the roof vents and the new roof, and meticulous clean up in our yard was completed in a single day. The dumpster was promptly removed from our driveway. The subcontractor completed the installation of our new gutters the following work day. We are now nearly 6 months past the installation of our new roof, and I couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend Semper Fi.

This is the second time I used Semper Fi and will not hesitate to use them again. Extremely responsive!!!! Very easy to work with. Thiswas a small job but Semper FI treated it like it was the most importnt thing they had on their schedule. Ryan Boss was great to work with as usual. The weather was horrible when they arrived but they knew I needed this job done in order for me to move on to others projects,, so they hung in there and waited the weather out,, took advantage of a small break in the weather and did the job promptly, professionally and perfectly. They have my trust... my respect,, and my business in the future. How can you not love a company like this???

Excellent experience from the first call to the office thru job completion. This was a small job but they made me feel like it was the most important job they had. Ryan returned my call promptly and met me at the job site within a day. He made some excellent recommendations without making it feel like he was trying to sell me up. They fit me into their scheduleand the crew was in and out on the same day, even though it was a brutally hot day. The crew was polite,really knew their business and did a great job of cleaning up when done. The dumpster was removed from the site before noon the day after the job was completed without any evidence that they were ever there, except for an excellent job, well done. I could not have asked for a better experience. Integrity, honesty and all around nice people to work with. Oustanding customer service, great craftmanship, and a very fair price. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

If there was a higher grade then an "A" Semper Fi roofing would get it. They call you back, keep you informed, the price is right, the clean up is awesome. Thank you for a job well done!

First day they worked on the north side of the house on a very hot day. They never stopped until tear down was complete at which time the owner showed us how bad the wood on the roof was. We have an 1896 house so wasn't too surprised. We told them to go ahead and put new boards up. They were down 2 men that day, but finished north side of the house that day. Next day we counted 7 men working including the owner They finshed the rest of the roofs that evening encluding a repair on our very old chimney. They started at 7:00 both mornings. The crew were all very friendly and are hard workers. Once finished they did a excellent job of cleaning up. We are very satisfied with SemperFi.

I recieved 2 other estimates and Semper Fi was the cheapest. I called the office on a Tuesday and a crew was available on Thursday to do the roof on the detached 2 1/2 car garage. They were available to do the small job as half the crew was on another job out of town. I told the receptionist/scheduler and the estimator, that I wanted to keep some of the old shingles as I understood there was a class action suit covering failure of those shingles. I also told them I wanted the garage to have a vent and that I also needed the roof on the house patched as there were several leaks. When the roofers (2) came, they were on time. Ryan was the leader. I asked him about the three items I told the receptionist/scheduler and the estimator, and he said no one had told him about those requests. He did save the shingles (but since I did not take photos before and after the roof installation, I cannot file a claim, which I did not know at the time). He did install the vent. I left that morning and did not know if he fixed the house roof. He said they would send me an invoice, which I believe would include the repairs to the house roof and the vent. I had called shortly after the roof was installed and asked about the repairs. The receptionist said to check as Ryan was not sure where it was leaking (he did not check with anyone else at the house and go into the attic to see where it was leaking), but he fixed what he thought was the problem. She said that if it was still leaking, to call and Ryan would come back out. I waited two weeks for an invoice and then called the office. I was told they were behind and I would get one the next week. I had not signed, or even recieved, a contract, either. I did call several weeks later, to schedule someone to repair the roof on the house, because I thought the roof was still leaking. The receptionist said she would check the schedule and get back to me. She never returned the call or responded to my request. Because I never recieved a contract, invoice or bill, I sent in payment based on the estimate. The company is very lax in their paperwork. I did not get a contract to sign or invoice. Their response was very bad to my requests and there was no communication between the estimator and receptionist/scheduler and the roofing crew. The crew itself was great, did a vey good job and cleaned the area. They were very responsive to my requests. However, since the management of the office leaves a lot to be desired, I will not use them when I have the house roof replaced next year.

Very fast, the whole job was completed in just one day. I had several roofing companies quote this project which caused me to feel a little apprehensive because they each told me a horror story about the damage ,expense , and frustration other homeowners suffered after making the wrong choice of contractor. I"m relieved to report that Semper Fi did an excellent job without giving me the horror story. They are very professional ,courteous and did everything they said they were going to do. They have an excellent warranty on their workmanship and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

The communication took a while (a week or so). But we were pleased not to have our chimney leaking any more and thankful he checked the garage and fixed that right away, too. My husband was the one who dealt with the worker, but from what I know he was professional and helpful. Thanks!

From the first time we contacted Semper Fi until the folllow-up meeting, we were impressed with the company's prompt response time, courtesy and professionalism. They said they would begin work at 7 a.m. They showed up at 6:50 and literally started the minute they said they would. Same thing for the second day. The owner was on site and oversaw everything going on. Highly recommended and would use again!

Quick response for obtaining a quote. Great team that replaced the roof in only a few hours. Professional and courteos. I'd highly recommend Semper Fi.

Everything went fine, but we only used them for an estimate. I would consider another estimate from this company.

I called to schedule the estimate and spoke to Vito Schwartz's wife who has a wonderful personality and was very helpful. Vito showed up on time and climbed up on the roof to see the damage. He could have charged us to do work but said the holes were small and plugged and of no great concern and should last several years, possibly until reshingling is necessary and all we need to do is keep an eye on them for any failing.

I spent around $350 on the job. They did a really good job and they were very professional and thorough. He took pictures and videos before he did the repair to show me what was wrong as well as after he did the repair to show me what he had fixed and how he has fixed it. He also took the time to go over the roof to make sure there no other issue with it. The price was a little higher, but for the way he explained things to me and also because I trusted him, I think it was worth it for me.
