Miracle Makeover

Greg Dull of Miracle Makeover has been our and quot;go-toand quot; guy for a number of years. We own a home that is nearly a century old. This summer we had leaks that prompted the need for a new roof. As the roofers were taking off the old roof they discovered that the decking under the shingles in several places had deteriorated . We called Greg to reconstruct the roof where needed and we were lucky that we did. Not only did he and his team of workers do an outstanding job, they also discovered rotted out spots where the roofers had already put down the new shingles. Needless to say, we are quite appreciative of the attention that Greg puts into his work. After he finished with the roof decking repairs we then had the roofers come back to finish their work and now are confident that all is weather tight. We also had Greg do exterior painting for us this summer and fall. He transformed our unsightly stucco garage (we have the before and after photos to prove it!) and gave the house a much needed uplift where the eaves and trim had taken a beating. Miracle Makeover replaced or repaired rafter tails that had rotted, thoroughly removed old paint, repaired windows that were broken, sanded and prepped everything, primed and painted, and came back for any touch ups that were needed. Some of the things we appreciate the most about Greg is that he takes the time to fully assess the job, gives us clear descriptions of what he finds, provides us with alternatives on how the work can be handled, keeps us apprised of how the job is progressing, always does an exceptional job at a price that is fair and reasonable, and is 100% trustworthy. We get a lot of compliments on all of the work that Miracle Makeover has done for us and are so happy that we found him on Angie's List a couple of years ago.

They installed crown moldings in my kitchen and living room and they fixed my service door from my back hallway into my garage. They had very positive review on Angie's List. The person whom I talked was very professional and got back in a very timely manner.

From the first day, Gregg made certain that floors and furniture was covered and safe from dust and plaster. Any mess was cleaned up immediately and every minute was all work. I was told what time to expect them and felt comfortable going on my errands while they were here. Things proceded smoothly and the work was completed on time. I have only good things to say about this company.

Greg Dull is polite and professional and was here whenever his crew was, working along side them. He kept us up to date on progress and weather delays and got the job done quickly in spite of the weather. I would highly recomend Miracle Makeover.

This is our 2nd time using Miracle Makeover (Greg) in the past 2 months. Once again, impeccable work and detail. Very friendly. Very clean. Very punctual. I hope to not have anymore drywall or paint repairs anytime soon - but when I do, I'll call Greg.

Everything went very well. He still exceeds expectations in everything he does. Greg is thorough and communicates his schedule and work plans very well. You cannot tell there has been any drywall work done - his patching is that seamless.

Greg was very easy to contact, came out quickly for an estimate and was available to get the work done quickly. He and his brothers were prompt, professional and cleaned up after the job very well. They were a pleasure to have at our home. The quality of the work was excellent. As stated by others, even though it was a garage, Greg took extra time to be sure the finished work was perfect. We will use them again for sure.

I had a pipe spring leak in a finished basement and a 4 x 4 hole had to be cut in the drywall to fix the leak in the pipe. Greg Dull and his brother worked from 8am to 7pm (11 hours) to patch the drywall hole in the ceiling and then painted the entire ceiling to match. They did an awesome job!! Cleaned up everthing. I will so hire them again, again and again.

Because we had a recommendation on the second contractor and his estimate was a little lower, we did not select Miracle Makeover. I would consider Miracle Makeover for future work.

Our experience with Miracle Makeover was fabulous. Extremely professional, great attention to detail, super at communicating during the proposal process and throughout the project. The house looks great, and frankly , exceeded our expectations. We didn't realize our tired-looking 40+ year home could look so good. The meticulous care and work were extraordinary. We are so happy with every aspect of this experience, and we would DEFINITELY recommend Miracle Makeover!

Perfectly. He came as promised and the work was perfect from start to finish. He is very friendly and nice to work with. His estimate was the price I paid.

Greg did a very nice job. He communicated well, completed the job sooner than was necessary and cleaned up afterwards.

He was very good. It took a while longer than I would like. He let me know if there is anything else he would come back out.

Very positive experience from bid through work completion

As always, Greg did an excellent job. I felt he had underestimated the time involved and actually paid him more than he charged. One of his helpers, on his own, shoveled heavy wet snow from my driveway and sidewalk. You won't find nicer, more conscientious people. The result of the work is always better than you expected.

Greg is an excellent painter! He did a perfect job on the front of the house. However, when I hired him this past summer, he said he would be completed with the job in 3 weeks, but it ended up taking 6. I had to delay my driveway project as I was unsure when they would be finished. They occasionally didn't show up at all when they were scheduled to. Greg was here for only 8 hours himself for the second job. The crew did a good job, but the scheduling was very inconsistant. It was frustrating that he delayed my job because he had so many other projects going on. The crew also didn't clean up very well after themselves. We agreed for me to pay 1/3 down at first, and 2/3 when the work was completed. I ended up paying another 1/3 while the the work was being completed. I didn't appreciate the pressure I felt. The end result was to my satisfaction, but he just had too many other projects going on. Though, I would still hire him for another painting job as he's so knowledgeable in this field.

I was disillusioned with the high bids I was getting to do a kitchen remake and decided to take a step back and see what could be done within the confines of the existing kitchen. Greg Dull was referred by a friend who had used him for some work at his house. I was impressed with the bid he provided and the thought that he put into getting me what I wanted at a good price. When the work started, I recognized right away that Greg is a real problem solver. We have an old house and he took great care to work within the style of the house, such as matching the stain of the wood to what is original to the house. Overall, we are more than satisfied with the work and have received many compliments on the "new" kitchen.

We hired Greg Dull after he completed a very successful kitchen remake for us. This second job was to tear out a portion of the ceiling on the second floor so that new wiring could be put in. We also had him repair water-damaged walls and another ceiling in a hallway. He gave us a fair bid and did an outstanding job taking care to seal off the house from the dust and mess that resulted from the ceiling demolition. When he rebuilt the ceiling and walls, he meticulously worked to get it to look as if it had never been damaged. He takes great pride in his job and closely supervises everyone who works with him.

I wanted a new refrigerator and it did not fit in the old space. Greg gave me an estimate for the job and the actual cost did not exceed the estimate. He moved a kitchen wall about 4 inches. He was very professional and very easy to work with. He always called to let me know of his time of arrival. He did a wonderful job. The drywall is very good. He is very neat and cleans up after the job. I definitely will hire Greg again.

I had purchased the tile and was going to do it myself. I then decided to get an estimate from Miracle Makeover and decided to have them do it. Greg gave me an estimate and arranged a time to complete the project. Greg came with his tile expert, Todd. They were on time and did a wonderful job. It looks great and I am very pleased. I am now planning to have more tile work in my house. They were very easy to work with and very neat.

I called Greg when the contractor I had previously hired needed emergency surgery, and I was hoping to find someone who could step right in to the timeframe I was working with and complete this part of the project. We talked last Friday, he stopped out that evening, and I had a quote the following day. He dropped off the color wheel on Sunday, I picked out colors from his vendor, and the crew started on Tueday. They worked here doing three long second shift days in order to complete the work this week. Job completed Thursday late in the evening. And what an outstanding job they did! Beautiful work, excellent patching, very careful, great attention to detail, with a promptness and courtesy that I frankly had never found working with contractors. I have three dogs, and they were even patient and kind with them! Greg was going around the completed job at 10 pm and wiping off the switch toggles. I think that says it all! Competitive cost, exceptional quality, unparelled service.

Very prompt attention from the first phone call to project completion -- Greg provided us with the name of an electrician to do work that he was not qualified to do. We were very pleased with the respect shown to our property during the work as well as at the time of cleanup.

Project went very well. I requested a quote using Miracle Makeover's e-mail address. Was about 2 weeks between my initial email and Miracle Makeover completing the job. I was able to reduce the original quote a bit because my job was relatively small and he could fit it into a hole in his schedule.

Miracle Makeover did an excellent repair work on water damaged ceiling and wall areas. The work was done at quoted price and time. The areas were curtained off to minimize dust and dirt to the rest of the house. After completing the work, clean-up was good.
