Miracle Makeover

Wonderful! Greg was great to work with, he came when he said he would, did a great job, went above and beyond on each item he completed. After having issues with the floor installer I found on Angie's list a year ago, I was leery of hiring anyone off of Angie's list again, but Greg changed my mind, there are great companies still out there and this is one of them! Would not hesitate to use his services again and highly recommend him.

We hired Greg to paint several (most) rooms in a house we had just purchased. There was a LOT of work that needed to be done in addition to painting: numerous nail/screw holes, dents and damage to dry wall, old water stains in ceilings, wall paper border removal, etc. It was definitely not an easy task. Greg did a fantastic job! It looks like an entirely different house now. He is a perfectionist and made sure every little detail was in place by the time he finished. His work is flawless. Additionally, he's a very nice guy and helped with extra things that were not his responsibility (helping my husband move our treadmill into the basement, taking our garbage out to the curb when we weren't living in the house yet to take care of it ourselves, accepting deliveries for us in our absence). I would hire him again in a heartbeat and won't hesitate to recommend him to others. We are extremely happy with his work.

Greg painted our garage walls, and basement walls, and floor. Despite several unexpected, and challenging issues he made these areas look just perfect! He was polite, professional, and so nice to have around. We also had some big time constraints, that he was all to happy to accomodate.

Greg, or "Mr. Greg" as our kids now know him, has put in a LOT of time helping get our house into working order and then keeping it looking decent. He is a reliable, hard-working handyman who can do just about anything we ask him to do. He is honest, trust-worthy, and his work is great. This time there were several areas of paint and drywall that needed repair after we took down some command strips that just didn't work as they were supposed to (bummer), then there was an area of flooring in our upstairs bathroom that had not been installed correctly by a prior handyman and now needed to be repaired with changes in the heat register and baseboards along that wall. We also needed a new handrail going upstairs as the other one had been removed in the past and the support in the wall no longer was going to work.

I quoted with several Angielist A rated painting provider and some reference from friends. Greg's quote was not the lowest but it is very fair and reasonable and has all the details. What I like the most is his integrity, honesty and A+ workmanship. He and his crew really loves his job and don't cut the corners at all regardless the customers present or not. They made my house look brand new with great quality work and material. My neighbors witnessed and they ended up hire him do some work too afterwards. He was also very patient and explained to me everything what happened and how to fix and prevent them. Thank Greg and his team for the job well done.

Greg was excellent. He came when he said he would...very punctual. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way or if he would be later than he thought he would be. He kept me informed every step of the way. He does beautiful work....he's a real perfectionist. My kitchen ceiling and the areas in my master bath look brand new. He was neat and cleaned everything up each day when he was done for that day. I would definitely hire him again. He also matched the paint...helping me go thru paint cans in my basement until we found the right one so he could write everything down and purchase the correct colors. He ended up having to do some extra work after he got into the repairs which he didn't charge me for because they weren't on his original estimate. Very honest.

Greg did an excellent job giving the garage a makeover with new drywall and paint. He cleaned up thoroughly every day. I would recommend him.

Everything was very good. Probably the two most critical things that kind of sold me were with the initial quote, it was extremely serile versus other people that we did not get on Angie's List. Then as far as the work is concerned, he cares that the work be done properly. There was a lot of attention to detail.

Gregory gets "A's" all the way across the board. He is always on time. He always calls ahead of time to say I am on my way, confirms everything. He is punctual. He is reasonable in his prices and he works out any special circumstances. We were just really happy with his work.

Greg stained the doors beautifully to match the nearby patio doors and the kitchen cabinets. He has an excellent awareness for detail and applied a moisture-resistant lacquer to the side of the doors facing the laundry equipment. I wouldn't have thought of that. Greg is persistent with his work and isn't afraid of long hours. He doesn't call it finished until it meets his high standards. Phone and email inquiries are answered promptly. I intend to hire him again in 2014!

Greg is without a doubt a perfectionist who takes great pride in the quality of his work. Service was prompt and well worth the price. We have already scheduled him to perform more repairs on our home this year

THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. HE FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. GREGG DID A FANTASTIC JOB. HE OWNS THE BUSINESS. I HAD NO SUB CONTRACTERS OR OTHER PEIOHE WORKED HARD FOR 12 HOURS STRAIGHT AND COMPLETED MY PROJECT IN ONE DAY. HE WAS VERY PROFESSTIONAL YET PERSONABLE! YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH GREGG. AFTER THE DRYWALL WAS COMPLETED, HE NEEDED TO PAINT THE AREAS. HE WAS PRECISE AND AN EXCELLENT PAINTER! I KNEW I COULD TRUST HIM IN MY HOME EARLY ON. (For anyone reading this you must know. This was my first time using Angies list and I was a little intimidated. My husband would be working and I knew that I would have a person in my home that I did not know doing the work. I needed to trust someone with my safety and the safety of my kids. I was put at ease very quickly. Gregg is a great guy. You should call him. I am not easy to please...the work needed to be perfect. IT WAS PERFECT! HE ALSO SAID THAT HE IS A HANDYMAN AND CAN DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING IN THE HOUSE THAT NEEDED ATTENTION. SO, I FEEL GREAT THAT I NOW HAVE A PERSON I TRUST TO DO OTHER WORK AROUND THE HOUSE WHEN NEEDED. CALL HIM...YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!! I

My key comment is Greg did an excellent job on this project. As I got to know Greg, I realized Greg takes personal pride in doing the best job he can, that he is very skilled in what he does and this really showed on the final project results. My wife and I are really pleased with the work done by Greg and we highly recommend Greg/Miracle Makeover to anyone who is looking for similar work that I described above. The best words I can use to describe Greg's work are to say --- and quot;WOW, what excellent workmanshipand quot;.

Greg is very knowledgable and hardworking, with great attention to detail. He does not work fast, but rather, when he does a job, he does it right the first time. He is flexible, willing to work evenings and weekends in order to accommodate one's schedule. I highly recommend him.

It went very well overall.

Greg was always on time, compelted the work on schedule, discussed all changes prior to completion, and even brought treats for our dog! The project turned into more than he was expecting - I think - and he completed it all in a timely manner, and in the middle of some of the hottest days of the summer. He even put up with our problem dog and kept him out of harm's way. The clean up was complete and thorough. We are very happy with the work Greg did and will not hesitate to contact him again when the need arises.

He arrived exactly at the time he told us he would; called while he was on his way. He worked like a machine to get the job done. He is a pleasant individual and very professional. He covered all of the floors while he was working and cleaned up afterwards.

It went very well. They were very particular and did a lot of painting and protecting of the surrounding area.

He did a nice job. If there is a fast way and is a right way, he always goes the right way. He does exemplary work. He cleans up after himself. He has lived up to all of his good ratings. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needed his services. He would be a top of the list kind of guy. He is very personable.

From start to finish Greg was on time and kept me informed every step of the way. He noticed things that needed to be repaired that the other company that I had gotten a bid from didn't notice. He is meticulous with attention to the details that will ensure a good final result. I had chosen a Pottery Barn paint color for one of the bathrooms. It seems like all of the pros use Sherwin William's paint and he tried to have their computer system match the color. The first try was incorrect. I was at work and he put it on one wall and then stopped because it had a greenish hue. The color I had chosen didn't have any green in it. He took the paint back to Sherwin Williams for another attempt and called to inform me of the progress at 7:00 PM. I feel like he spent a lot of extra time trying to get the correct paint color. The drywall work is awesome! You would never know that there had been a huge hole in the laundry room wall. Because of the extra attention to detail I feel like I got more than my moneys worth.

If you are looking for promptness, this is not the company to choose. And more importantly, if you are looking for follow through, keep looking. 3 months later we are still waiting to hear back from them.

Very conscientious, the job took a bit longer than expected due to return visits to perfect finish. Communication throughout the project helped keep tensions low on both sides. I only dropped the puntuality one point when delays were not communicated. Greg showed up despite some family/personal issues when I would have expected him to take a leave. He was very dedicated to keeping the project moving forward.

I don't have experience with his work, but I did speak with him a few times. Both times he was very unprofessional and because it took him over a week to follow up I didn't remember what service I had called his company for because of that he seemed annoyed that he had to explain why he was calling me. We had set a time for him to come over a give me an estimate on replacing a front door and the worker he sent out was late and my husband who waited for him at home had to leave. Luckily my husband was not far from home and was able to come back for the estimate. The guy told us that we had purchased the wrong type of door and that it wouldn't fit and they would have to do a lot to make it work or could take the door out of the frame and replace that only. Needless to say we didn't use these guys, we got another contractor in their who actually knew what he was doing and of course told us the door we had was just fine. We now have a great new front door that looks great, glad we didn't use these guys.

Owner Greg Dull was very prompt in coming to discuss the job. The free estimate was detailed and he explained fully what he would be doing. The work was done in a timely manner. The repairs in the ceilings and walls were blended with the original plaster so well that no joints or edges are seen. The textured finish blends well with the original finish. I had originally contracted just for the crack repairs but once I saw the excellent work Greg and his worker were doing I asked if he could paint the ceilings and he was quick to fit that into his schedule.
