I have had their services for over 40 years, this is the third furnace and second central air unit they have installed. You can't asked for a better company to do the work. I wouldn't have anyone else do the job!

My AC was freezing up in the basement so I called West Allis Heating and Air to come out and take a look. The service professional arrived promptly on time and diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes of being on site. The AC unit was over 25 years old (estimated due to the unit not having any kind of model information). The tech told me the compressor was shot and it was on it's last legs. He told me I could replace the compressor for about $2000 plus other costs involved (labor, freon, etc.) or I could purchase a new unit. I opted to look at new units and he showed me several models. I opted for a mid range Lennox model. Installation was set up for a few weeks later. Installer came promptly on time and everything was completed within a few hours. The unit works great and appears to be way more efficient than the very old previous unit. Love the service and the expertise from this company!

Excellent - Professional, honest and well educated on the products they sell and install. Only company I will use for heating and air conditioning service. They also do electrical service and when I need electrial work done - will also call them!

The technician arrived on time and had all work done in 20-30 minutes allowing me to get to work only a little late and with the heat back on. The technician was courteous, respectful and knowledgeable.

All service personnel we have dealt with have been exceptionally professional, as has the owner, Dan Eaton. Techs arrive when scheduled and I receive a courtesy call to tell me they're on their way. I try to schedule appointments in off season (late spring or early autumn for routine furnace inspection), but when a problem has developed and we needed immediate help, they have been there for us.

I didn't end up getting the work done, but I really liked the way they were doing their estimate. They were very personable and very patient because I was not really knowledgeable in the area and they did a lot of explaining perfect. They answered all of my questions. I would use them again absolutely if need be.

They are very professional. They were very concerned about being here on time. They cleaned up after themselves. They wanted to make sure that I understood my new appliance. I could tell that they really knew the codes for my area. For no extra cost, they added an outdoor outlet. There was a gentleman in charge that checked in while the work was going on and after. They were very knowledgeable about the rebates. They filled them out for us and we got them in a timely manner. I have actually used them in the past when our furnace wasn't working. It was very cold and they came over rather quickly. They tested everything to make sure that it was working.

We heard that Lennox was offering rebates to replace our 15+ year old Lennox Pulse furnace. We had bids from 2 other Lennox dealers and another brand, before contacting West Allis Heating. By that time I knew that I wanted the top of the line furnace, but was debating what air conditioner to buy, or if I needed to replace it at this time. Kurt was very helpful by helping me weigh the pros and cons of doing a replacement now. We decided to buy a high efficiency air conditioner now. Kurt also explained all the rebates that we were entitled to--Lennox, government, and WE energies. The contract was signed on Monday, and installation occured on Friday. West Allis Heating does all their sheet metal work at their workshop before hand, which made the installation smoother and quicker. The crew of three men arrived at 8:20 A.M., and finished at 2:00 P.M. All material was removed. A covering had been placed on our carpeted basement stairs. One installer thoroughly explained the operation of our new programmable thermostat. The reasons we chose West Allis Heating over the others--(1) Kurt was very thorough about explaining my options, and answering my questions, without trying to push us to sign up right away (2) Company has been in business for 52 years and has a wonderful reputation (3) Their price was similar to my other quotes, but it included a 10 year Lennox parts AND labor warranty (4) They are a Lennox Premier Dealer (5) 24/7 service, and closeness to our home. (6) Prefabricated sheet metal work, (7) They will handle the paperwork for our rebates.

They did a good job. I was pleased with them. Their pricing was good. I would use their services again in the future.

Very responsive. Kept appointment time to the minute. Went with West Allis as to check out the system as it doesn't seem to be working as the ad claimed they were Lennox specialists. I have a Lennox Harmony II zone HVAC system. Wanted the tech to check out the zone system because upstairs always too warm and basement always too cold. Tech showed up; nice guy but knew nothing about the Harmony II system. He checked that the system was getting power - that was the extent of his expertise. He then proceeded to fix the blown capacitor. I specifically asked for a Harmony system check when I made the appointment so that was disappointing. Also, I've have capacitors repalced before on other systems and usually paid in the $175 to $200 range. $350 for 20 minutes seems too high.

Our A/C stopped working on Sunday evening. We called when they opened (7 am) on Monday morning to see if they could send someone over. They said the person would be there between 8 and 10; he arrived at 8:30. He did some troubleshooting, determined the problem was a failed capacitor in the condenser outside, and replaced it. While he was in there, also cleaned out a nest from the condenser. ;-) Work was done quickly and accurately. 2 small quibbles: First, the person who scheduled the work said that the repair technician would call when he was on his way over. He did not. Second, when he finished the work on the condensor outside, the technician left the box with the old capacitor in it sitting on the electrical box on the back of the house. Not a huge problem, but I would have expected him to either throw it away himself or ask me if I wanted to keep the old part and then actually give it to me.

Overall, I am a very satisfied customer. I had a few strict requirements for the furnace and duct locations due to a future remodeling project and West Allis Heating was more than willing to work through these issues with me. The job did take a little longer than expected (partially my fault), but quality was never sacrificed for the sake of time and they were very professional about explaining the need for extra time and working around my schedule. The duct installation was clean, efficient, and tight to the ceiling. I can't tell you how nice it is to finally walk around my basement without ducking. I will need to wait until cooler weather next fall for my final judgment, but thus far I am very happy.

They showed up when they said they would. The price was very reasonable. They were very courteous when they were there working. They also were very professional.

It was excellent! There was some trouble with the system (the product itself) and the way they handled it was excellent - they were here promptly to repair any problems that cropped up.

The furnace install went fine, the only thing that was so frustrating about them is the fact that they kept bringing us the wrong thermostat, but acting like they didn't know. The price also included a humidifier.

First we called them from a referral of some friends and the check we did on Angie s list. The original gentleman that was scheduled for the estimate was sick, however they were still on time. Joey came to the home, listened to our story and our needs. Definitely represented the company in a positive way. The owner then came to look at the job...Both men had knowledge and insight. Dan's mere excitement for his job is contagious. His ability to brain storm and accept your feedback was awesome! They made several trips back to the home for paperwork or questions. The men came to do the work. A couple of the gentlemen on the job were extremely wonderful to answer any of our questions. Bottom line, West Allis took the time and worked with us, knew our situation was unique and treated us appropriately.

Got the right part quickly and easily. Later found out the going price is 50+.

I called WA Heating when our air conditioner started making awful banging noises the week before the July heat wave. Rich came and made the repairs but could not finish the job because one piece that needed replacement would need to be ordered from the manufacturer. He said we could use the air while we waited for the part to arrive but to try to use it sparingly. That is impossible with 100+ degree weather! Knowing the weather forecast, WA Heating called the manufacturer and had them rush the part in (at their expense) and came out to finish the job as soon as it arrived. The manager even called to let me know the status of the shipment, so I wouldn't worry that we would be sweltering in our house over the weekend heat wave.

They were able to come out days ahead of everyone else. They were quick to find the problem and replace the bad part. They came on time and worked quickly. Price was reasonable too.

MATT IS VERY PERSONABLE and TOOK A LOT OF TIME TO ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS and CONCERNS WHEN WE FIRST MET HIM, AND EACH TIME HE WAS AT OUR HOME. WE'RE NOT SURE WHAT WE WERE TOLD ABOUT THE HUMIDIFIER CONTROL PROBLEM IS ACTUALLY WHAT HAPPENED. THE EXPLANATION WAS ROUND ABOUT and UNCLEAR, AND LEFT SOME DOUBT ABOUT WHETHER THE INSTALLATION OF THE ORIGINAL HUMIDISTADT WAS DONE CORRECTLY, OR IF THIS UNIT ITSELF IS FLAWED. WE NOW HAVE CONTROL HUMIDITY WITH THE FURNACE MOUNTED UNIT.

THE OUTSIDE A/C FAN WAS NOT TURNING. IT TOOK A HALF HOUR ($24 PER 15 MINUTES = $48) TO DETERMINE THAT 2 FUSES WERE BLOWN. MY BILL MAY HAVE BEEN $24.00 LESS WITH A MORE EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEE, BUT MAYBE NOT. IN SUMMARY, MY FAMILY AND I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEIR WORK OR THEIR EMPLOYEES.
