Joe proceeded with the work quoted, doing a very good job by first laying down some plactic covering at the work area.. I'd estimate he power cleaned 20 to 30 feet down the main drain. He also cleaned out both kitchen sink drains with a hand snake. In addition he offered his professional suggestions for drain maintenance products. When he finished, he cleaned up the area, took up the floor covering,and washed up any other soiled areas. Since we had prepared the work area by removing our own supplies, making it easier for his work, he charged us $10 less than quoted. Wow, when has that ever happened! Overall the work was done very professionally. Joe is very personable and will certainly be contacted for future plumbing work.

Joe is fantastic and we have used his services numerous times. The first project we used him for was a big job, not only were his quote and final bill nearly half what others companies had quoted me, but he did fantastic work. His prices are always resonable and he provides quotes for future projects as well. He shows up when he says he will and completes all projects in a timely manner. I have no complaints and highly reccoment his services.

Decided to call Joe from reviews on Angie's List. Glad I did. Joe is very knowledgeable and thorough. He responded quickly to my call, came for an estimate and set up a prompt appointment to replace our kitchen and stationary tub faucets, and replace the dishwasher drain pipe. When he was here he also tightened a faucet in our bathroom, and snaked a drain. He did a nice job for a fair price, and cleaned up everything before leaving. We will definitely hire Joe again.

I called Joe in the early afternoon. He answered the phone immediately. He accommodated my schedule and agreed to meet me at 4:30 PM the same day. He was able to fix both of my plumbing issues: a clogged toilet in one bathroom and a broken handle on a toilet in another bathroom. He even took the time to explain to me how I could unclog my powder room toilet by myself if I encountered future problems.

I have had other companies perform this work in the past and he was much more thorough. He was knowledgeable and gave me a few pointers. He arrived when he said he would and did the work cleanly and efficiently. I told him I'll call him for other plumbing services and I will. I've already referred him to two other people.

We had a clogged tub, called him at 9:49am, we said he would be here between 11-2p, that same day. He showed up about noon, looked at the bath tub and down stair, explained what he would do, and apprx price. Cleared the drained, repaired something else, all very fast, and was gone, gave us timely suggestions and we couldn't be happier with a plumber.

Overall I felt this was an excellent provider.

I used Angie's List to find Joe. He called me back the same day and came the next day to give me an estimate. He did the work on the designated day in a short amount time. I feel the cost was reasonable as well.

We found Joe on Angie's List and called him first thing in the morning regarding a clogged bathtub. He got back to us immediately and was at our house by 10 a.m. We've known our plumbing issue is bigger than simply a clogged drain. We have a drum trap in the bath. Joe was able to explain each part of our problem and detail exactly how it needed to be remedied. Because the proper fix is an hours-long job that wouldn't fit into his schedule on such short notice, he just cleared the drain today (quickly, at that) and left us with an estimate that breaks out the costs to remedy each of our problems. We'll be having Joe back to take care of a drum trap, leaking outdoor faucet, and cracked basin trap. We were extremely pleased with the service Joe provided. He's professional, respectful (wore booties without even being asked), experienced and fairly priced. We're happy to have found a plumber that we can look to as our and quot;go-to guy.and quot;

He arrived on time, calling en route as I'd asked him to. He gave me what I thought was a very fair estimate for the work to be done. Even though the job ended up taking longer than he'd anticipated, he only charged me the amount of the estimate. I am very happy with the work he did and I was VERY happy with the price, and especially the fact that he stood by his estimated price. In my opinion he does high quality work for very fair prices (considerably less than typical plumber prices!!) and I'm going to start recommending him to all of my friends and clients (I'm a realtor so I frequently have clients who need various work done on their homes).

Joe arrived at our property promptly at the scheduled time, with booties in hand to avoid leaving a mess with his shoes. He knows we are particular with this, but this is his usual practice. I had briefly described a problem with the toilet on the phone, and after looking at it he went on to fix the problem and do preventative maintenance also. He was thorough, finished quickly, and I was pleased with the price. I depend on the expertise provided by Value Plumbing quite frequently as I have rentals, and because Joe is very honest, I give him all my work. I have recommended Value Plumbing to family members and neighbors who are very pleased, but unfortunately are not yet Angie's List members so have been unable to submit reports on Value Plumbing.

I have contracted Value Plumbing several dozen times and have recommended them to everyone I know who needs plumbing work done. I have never been anything but pleased and I have yet to hear a negative word spoken about the quality of their work, their cleanliness, their responsiveness, their professionalism or their price. My sump pump experience was very consistent in this regard. My tenants had a pile of boxes near the sump pump which obviously needed to be moved before the work could be performed. The boxes were returned to their original position as though nothing had happened when the job was done. Also, I originally told Joe that the job was a low priority and that they could work it in when it was convenient for them. Joe pointed out that we were supposed to get rain the following day and shifted his schedule to ensure that I would not have water damage to clean the following day. I have had many great examples of smooth business transactions with Value Plumbing, but I feel compelled to share one in particular. I referred Value Plumbing to a friend of mine who needed a water heater replaced. My friend is on the frugal side and asked to supply her own new water heater. Value plumbing agreed to install it and remove the old heater for $250. When the job was done, Joe from Value Plumbing sheepishly admitted that the job had gone much smoother than he had estimated (he had provided the estimate over the phone and could not see the actual job when he gave the quote), so he only charged $200. My friend tried to tip him because she couldn't believe how low the price was, but Joe refused saying that he didn't think the deal would be fair. I have dealt with many contractors since I bought my first rental property 9 years ago. Value Plumbing is by far the best and most reliable contactor I have used.

Because I had a great experience with this company cleaning the sewer at my house, and I needed someone to take care of my rental plumbing problems, I gave Value Plumbing a call. Joe, the owner, gave me a choice of same or next day service. I scheduled him for the next day so I could notify the tenants that he was coming. I met him at the property and he was on time. I appreciated that because I wanted to inconvenience the tenants as little as possible. He was very considerate entering the unit, taking off his shoes before entering the unit. He went to work removing the access panel as this building was built in the 1920's and that is where the tub plumbing is. He snaked out the drain in front of me and the tenant and showed us what was clogging the drain. (I didn't think to bring my camera!) It was a lot of hair. So, now the tenant knew to use the strainers I provide to lessen this occurance, and that it was not that the drains were defective. He then instructed the tenant on the use of the organic drain cleaner to dissolve the soap scum that builds up with the hair and binds it all together. This was very helpful as the tenants had no idea. He was very fast, polite and not scolding, but informative. He also did a quick check to make sure the other bathroom plumbing was running OK while he was there. He was very nice and was professional in his manner and work. I think I found a keeper for plumbing at my rentals!

My problem was with water backing up into the basement through our sewer drain. I phoned Value Plumbing Sewer and Drain Cleaning, getting their business card magnet from a neighbor that had used them and been happy with their work. I was fortunate to get someone the same day. Joe arrived on time and got to work. I liked that he was careful when bringing his equipment into the basement and didn't bang into anything. He layed a drop cloth as the basement is partially finished and cleaned up the area when he was done. I am very particular; but he seemed to go about his business as if being clean and careful was routine for him. I have used another company to clean my sewer before and they were not careful with my house or furnishings and the job needed to be redone within a month. I am a landlady and was also hopeful to find a company who could perform drain cleaning and plumbing at my rentals going forward. So I looked at the equipment he used, and noted it was different from the other drain cleaning company I had used before. Value Plumbing's sewer equipment had a large cutter on the end of it. Joe explained the cutter will cut any roots so they can be flushed out through the sewer system to prevent toilet paper, etc. from getting caught in them, preventing another backup from occurring in the near future, rather than just poking a hole through the sewage. He also educated me on the causes of sewage backups for future prevention. Since we had roots in our system, he advised me on how often to have the roots cut to avoid another backup. I found Value Plumbing Sewer and Drain Cleaning to be professional, polite and clean and will call them again for regular sewer cleanings and for my rental properties in addition to my home. Very happy to have found them as the price was VERY reasonable for what I got.
