EXCELLENT - WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS HONEST PLUMBING SERVICE

They worked fast and got the sink unclogged. Also took the time to explain how we can fix it ourselves next time and actually drew a schematic of the plumbing so that we can see why our snaking attempts failed. They also looked at an old drain lever cover that the screws had popped out of. They were going to remove it and cover the hole with a plate, but the plate they had was not big enough. Took the time to explain to me which screws to buy to fix it myself. The whole thing took about a half hour. They called to let me know they were going to be a little late, which I appreciated.

I have used Value Plumbing in the past, and as before, Joe was courteous, efficient and effective. He responded to my call in a short period of time, and fit me into his schedule the following day. His prices are definitely a "value", and his work is A+ "valuable". He will always be my first choice for plumbing needs.

He is wonderful and very reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Couldn't believe what a great guy. Clean the drain and noticed the shower handle was dripping, put a washer in without even us asking. Came within the time he quoted. Was the best plumbing contractor we ever had come here, and we had plenty because we have lived in the same home for 40 years. It's an older home. Would call and recommend him to everyone.

Great joe came and his son came a little bit later to help the job go faster super job also called them a month later to do a water heater installation because i had to go to work they rearranged there schedule to accommodate my needs

Gave us the estimate right up front. Cleared out the sink drain. Totally blocked up. My husband had tried an auger, but couldn't get through. With persistence and determination, Joe cleared it out. TOTALLY tested it and CLEANED UP. Never had a plumber clean up like that. Very professional.

Joe suggested he come over that day as he had another job in the neighborhood. He put on booties to keep from tracking dirt in the house, unplugged the toilet, figured out which parts he needed, went and got the parts and returned to fix both toilets. Amazing. Very professional, work went fast. Definitely would recommend. I found the charges for the work he did, replacing the innards of both toilets with new parts, the unplugging, etc. to be extremely reasonable. I had expected to pay at least twice that amount, especially on a Saturday.

The work went very well. Joe was very responsive both times we needed his services. He clearly understands the homeowners concerns and desire to have quick service. He returns calls promptly, kept us up to date on when he would arrive and works to accommodate the homeowner's schedule when possible. Did not charge extra rate for work on a Sunday. While cleaning a sewer drain in a home basement can be a messy job, he made efforts to keep things clean and sanitary. After he finished work he spent time discussing the plugging problems and actions we could take to help minimize the issue (very old house). One of my better experiences with a contractor and we will absolutely recommend him to others.

it was a very rainy day and joe removed his shoes at the doorway and was extremely considerate about my property. with 2 young girls and a baby, this was much appreciated. he was able to replace the old J trap with a new pvc trap and did a beautiful job. he explained in detail what and why it had failed and described his fix. what i liked about joe is that he didn't push any new services to me but just gave me options and left it up to me. He cleaned up the work spotlessly and left the bathroom in excellent condition. he was non threatening, polite, kind, professional and i felt he really wanted to help me. the best part of the day was the price he charged for the job, i was expecting to pay double what i was charged. this is a fair and good man. i will call value plumbing from now on for any plumbing job i have. do yourself a favor and leave it to the expert, he's been doing this for 30 years. even though he is busy, he will really do his best to at least see you and get an initial assessment of your job. call value plumbing and worry no more!!

I called Joe first for a drain clog issue that affected my toilet, sink and shower drains. He said he would check his schedule and let me know if you could come out the next day. He was unable to do so and made sure that he called after he left a voicemail to let me know he was very professional and I know would have helped if you could fit it in. If I had plumbing issues in the future I would again call him first even though he did not do any work for me this time. Very impressed with his responsiveness.

Joe was recommended to me by my realtor and I?m so happy she did! He came out to check out a few different areas that I had some concerns about. Most were very minor, and he was able to walk me through the process of fixing them myself. He also provided quotes for other projects. Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be calling him in the future for additional work.

Joe replaced the valve and pipe as well as the outside faucet and also adjusted the outside faucet so that it was more accessible. He also repaired a section around the outside faucet. This is the third time I've had work done by this company and cannot say enough good things about Joe's service, professionalism, and help. He is absolutely the best.

I have Joe before but I had to call him in the last 2 weeks. First time it was to unclog my kitchen sink and the next is to unclog my toilet. We have only 1 bathroom so I needed it done that day. I called Joe, he could not come that day due to a family emergency. He felt very bad about not coming but he had his brother come over and do it. His brother works there also. He came in less than 1 hour and unclogged the toilet. They are all very professional and I highly recommend them!!

Arrived on time. Worked hard and fast. Was careful not to make a mess.

Showed up at the promised time. He found the problem right away and didn't waste any time cleaning it out. Very knowledgeable and experienced.

Being pleased with the first job Joe did 2 weeks ago, I made an appointment with him at that time to come back and replace bathroom and kitchen faucets. On the day Joe was scheduled to do the work, his truck broke down and he had to go through all the trouble of renting a truck and transferring all of his equipment into the rental. It was after 4pm when he arrived (obviously late, due to the circumstances) but I have to give him credit for still coming and doing the work. It was the night before Thanksgiving, so I know he probably wasn't expecting to work as late as he did. I want to say again, I give him credit for still coming over. After all the drama and stress involved with a truck breaking down, etc., he could have easily said he's worn out and rescheduled. The actual work went fine with no problems. It's nice to have faucets that work. He had to replace a part in the drain and he took the time to show me and explain where it was and what he did. When he was done- get this- he not only cleaned up everything, but also took all the old faucets and other trash with him! Again, I found him to be decent, honest, reasonably priced, and he did a good job.

Wow, a plumber that arrived on time! This was difficult to fix; as the cause of the clogged drain seemed to be due to an object stuck in, and blocking the flow of the drain pipe,( instead of an easy fix, like hair in a drain.) After working on this for quite a while with no luck, Joe came up with an ingenious idea to get that clog, and it worked beautifully. He explained what was happening and drew a picture to illustrate how the pipes were joined and what he did to unclog it. That made it much easier for me to understand the problem. I found Value Plumbing through Angie's List and based on the great reviews I decided to call him. I agree with the other reviewers. I found Joe to be honest, reasonably priced, and he did a good job on unclogging the drain. In fact, after this first job, I made another appointment with him to replace faucets in the bathroom and kitchen. See separate review for that.

Fantastic!. Joe called to say he was on his way...he arrived at the time he said he would be here...did a great job...cleaned everything up...explained everything he did. What a fantastic contractor. I can't say enough good things about him!!

Joe was able to come out the same day and fixed everything perfectly! Definitely one of the best contractors I've ever hired!

Everything went very well. Joe called me back in a timely manner, made an appointment to come by my house, and got right to work. It was an excellent job, and I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

Called Tuesday about gurgling noises coming from basement bathroom and drains. Joe came Wednesday to fix it, took about an hour and it is fixed.

We were very pleased with him. He was very kind and neat about his work. He even polished up where the old faucet had been. We felt he was very trustworthy as well.
