Pricing was slightly lower than competitors - but for a two man crew. Others had a higher hourly rate but had a three man crew, so the total costs was similar and the move went more quickly.

Two people showed up on time and were very professional. Very friendly and went to work fast. The furniture arrived intact. I was very happy. I called the company told them what a good job Dustin and Desi did.

Randy and. Michael arrived on time. They quickly got to work. Very polite and accommodating. They were very skilled at moving.

Things went really well. I was completely satisfied with them. Nothing was broken and the cleaned up after they were done.

My experience with Two Men And A Truck was lousy. They ran into my garage. They didn't pick up everything. In fact, they didn't tell me they weren't going to pick up the rest of the stuff until later. They asked me over the phone what I was moving, and what I didn't specifically tell them, they didn't pick up. They also refused to take some of the furniture upstairs, like a bedroom set. I filed a complaint about them hitting my garage. I called them several times about it, and I haven't heard a word back from them. I even sent them pictures. The guy in charge just complained the whole time.

They broke one item and they fixed it pretty badly but everything else was fine. They did at a reasonable cost. They were very accommodating with what I needed to pack and my timetable.

In an attempt to save money and time, we were convinced to use four men and two trucks. At the end of the day, we saved some time - they were done sooner, but we didn't really save any money because of the additional manpower. The four young men who worked our job were punctual, worked non-stop until the job was completed and took good care of our furnishings, the house we were moving out of and the house we moved into. They worked well with us in terms of placing the furnishings where we wanted them... and made minor adjustments when asked. The project was a little expensive versus having my crew (sons, in-laws and friends) do the work, but the money was well worth it versus damaged furnishings, a very long day, etc. I would use this company again if need be and would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right.

I have used this company before. Once again, Two Men and a Truck were accommodating, on time, and efficient. I called just one week prior to the move date near the end of the month. I still was able to get my requested move date. The office staff called ahead to collect details of the move. Tommie and Phil arrived on time and got right to work loading the truck. there were stairs on both ends of the move. They lifted a large stuffed couch, bed head and foot board with double mattress, several boxes of books, two yet to be assembled wooden book cases and personal belongings. They were here and gone in 2.5 hours. I will call Two Men and a Truck again and I recommend them to other Angies List members.

We were quoted for 4-5 hours of moving time and were informed that they charged $112 an hour. We were given an arrival time of 8am to 9am and the movers, Raymond and Chris, showed up around 8:45am. Both were very friendly and asked for directions on what needed to be moved and what stayed. Chris explained our contract and then they got right to work. For a company that charges by the hour, they were very efficient and worked quickly. They wrapped our couches, dressers and entertainment center in plastic. After they loaded their truck, we met them at our new home and they quickly unloaded our items. They made sure to ask where each item should go in the home and set our bed up for us. Once they finished, we went over the paperwork once more and I was quite surprised it only took them 2.5 hours after having been quoted for 4-5 hours of labor. I did notice a small tear in our futon cover after it has been moved but I'm not sure if it was there before so I didn't ask for anything to be taken off or replaced, mostly due to the fact that the cover is very worn and thin anyways. Overall, this was our first time using movers and I would this company again due to their efficiency and friendly staff.

They were professional , friendly and had no complaints when all was done

Two guys showed up on time to move my furniture and boxes. It took them about one hour to load and about 45 minutes to unload. They worked hard and very professional. Furniture was wrapped so it wouldn't get damaged. I would hire them again.

Kevin and Marquis arrived on time and with great attitudes. Everything was loaded in about 2 1/2 hours, albeit with the help of myself and two friends. I will admit that I had taken the directions to heart concerning having everything labeled as to its ultimate destination, so unloading went incredibly smoothly. I "quarterbacked" at the new location in case anyone had questions as to final location of objects. These two guys were workhorses; everything was carefully wrapped and loaded. Kevin and Marquis were professional, extremely pleasant, everything one would want on moving day! I can't believe I haven't used these guys before now - they were exceptional!

The movers were prompt, relatively friendly and careful not to damage my things. However, this is the move that would not end. There were about 50 boxes and a few large pieces of furniture, going to a location one mile away. All of this was communicated ahead of time. It took them 8 hours. They were so slow paced, unable to quickly figure out how to get larger pieces through doorways (hint: try turning it 180 degrees), and would carry one lightweight, easy to handle item at a time. One of them complained about how many things I had and that his back was getting sore. You are a mover! You signed up for this! I have used another company in the past who moved the exact same things in half the time, with just as much care and a lot more hustle. They also said the truck was full and I had to leave things behind. It seemed as if they were just tired of packing the truck. There were several feet left on the bed of the truck.

They were excellent. Worked fast. Cost was less than estimated. I would use them again.

The guys were great! As promised, they called me when they were on their way which allowed me to secure my cats in a back bedroom. I showed them around the house and then they immediately went to work. They worked very hard and were quite efficient. One man took things out through the front door while the other took things out through the back. If you look up "going above and beyond the call of duty" in the dictionary, you'll see Chris and Manuel's pictures! The only thing I wish I would have known beforehand is that they can't take lamps. But that was minimal compared to the wonderful job that they did.

David and Sean provided excellent service. Among the items moved were some very fragile antiques. The movers were extremely careful with these pieces as well as with all the other items. There were no chips or scratches on furniture from moving nor were there any dings on walls, etc. We have used Two Men and A Truck for the last 3 moves and will use them again in the future.

Great movers! The movers were professional and friendly. Arrived right on time and began by introducing themselves. They moved non-stop and yet had time to complete the move ahead of time. They even helped my family members move fragile items into my new place.

Everything went very well. They called us 2 days before the move to confirm the moving date and the expected time of their arrival. It was raining on the day of the move. They called to notify us that we would arrive about 30 minutes late because of the rain. The move from the first condo was completed in 90 minutes because they had to use the building's small elevator. The move into the new ground level condo was completed in less than 60 minutes. None of the furniture or condos were damaged during the move.

Performed as per estimated and met expectations.

The appointment was scheduled approximately two weeks prior to the move. The hourly quote came in under the other local company I contacted. Eric and Jason arrived 10 minutes early, introduced themselves and displayed their ids, and did a walk through with me to identify what would be moved. They took one break for lunch which was not included in the total cost. Upon arrival at the new home they did a walk through with me and proceeded to move in my belongings. They completed the move ahead of schedule. Eric and Jason G were professional, courteous and efficient. They wasted no time moving me from my old house into my new home. They arrived on time and completed the move well with the quoted allotment. These two gentlemen are a definite asset to Two Men and A Truck.

They were on time the day of the move. I was impressed how they used carry-straps ad shrink-wrap to move large items without scratching them. We knew ahead of time that the truck wouldn't fit under the under-ground garage door so the movers had to physically carry all the items from their truck through the garage and into the basement "lobby". They had to make extra trips to avoid tying up the only elevator in the building. They were great. I would recommend them to anybody needing a flawless move. Things sure have changed since I moved 20 years ago!

The two movers arrived promptly at the residence I was moving from. They asked me to take them through the property for a quick inventory of all items that would be moved out. (Some things were staying since my spouse was moving to a different location on a different day.) The gentlemen then began shrink wrapping all the big pieces of furniture, particularly those with doors or drawers. They emptied out the townhouse in a very orderly fashion and were done in under 1-1/2 hours. Then they followed me to the new location which was only a few miles away, and again did a quick walk-through to see where items would be placed. They moved things into a first floor bedroom, living room, second floor bedroom, and basement office/recreation room. They set up furniture placement just as I instructed and took care in making sure that nothing was damaged during transport. They were done within two hours moving and setting everything up in my condo.

I got quotes from multiple moving companies when preparing to move. I was told over the phone after explaining the specific items of furniture I would be moving along with about 10 boxes that it should take no more than 2 to 3 hours. The quote led me to believe Two Men & a Truck would be the most efficient and cost effective choice. Unfortunately, I was mislead and our move ended up taking 5.75 hours. If I would have been given a quote closer to the actual time it took I would have gone with another company or ended up moving on my own. It makes a difference when I was budgeting around $300 and ended up paying closer to $600. I find it unprofessional to deceive your customers into paying double then they were lead to believe.

Went AWESOME! Albert and Ronald both showed up right on time and got to work. We had some particularly LARGE items that needed to be moved - 6-8 foot tall CD cabinets each holding anywhere from 1000-2500 CD's each. VERY heavy and bulky. They handled it like champs. They were very courteous, and extremely careful with all our things. No complaints here.

The service was great and the movers tried their hardest to get my couch down in the basement with no avail. I appreciated their efforts and was especially surprised when I received a phone call the next day to say that I overpaid. With all the things on my mind with this move, their honesty and outstanding customer service made everything better. Thanks! I'll continue to recommend your services to my family and friends.
