It was a large installation including a family room, living room, dining room and kitchen. Derriick and Cliff did a fantastic job. They were very attentive to detail and always kept us informed with questions or suggestions. They were punctual and friendly and always conscious of keeping the work area clean. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely use Stu's in the future. We would also like to mention Debi of the sales staff who was very helpful with regard to our product selection and planning of the project.

INSTALL NEW CARPET IN 3 BEDROOMS & LIVING ROOM & 3 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. IT WENT GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.

Great service for taking out the old carpet and installing the new one. The carpet perfectly suited our needs.

At Stu's Flooring I was taken care of by Jennifer whom addressed all my questions and concerns regarding the removal and installation of new carpeting with professionalism and with knowledge of the products and the work that had to be done. Samples were given to take home and upon deciding returned to Stu' Flooring to make arrangements for measuring the next day. A week and a half later the installers came right at the time designated and work continually until the job was done. These men were very professional and courteous. A job well done. I will be using there services again for two more rooms.

We have used Stu's Flooring at least 4 times over the years. They have been fantastic! I don't know how to assess their pricing because we did not comparison shop because of our excellent history in having them install flooring and carpeting in our home. That said, when they came back with the quote for this job, my husband said, "My wife joined Angie's list and there is a discount." The person said, "Oh, that discount has already been added" so I am wondering why I needed to join Angie's list if it was added before she knew we were members.We shrugged our shoulders...and wondered if the $100 discount from Angie's List had really been applied. The estimator who came to our home was easy to work with and assured us that the installers could move our bedroom furniture to the side while installing the laminate. (My husband is disabled, and we are in our 60s). The installers, however, grumbled and complained the whole time. Unlike our previous experience, my husband could not wait until they had gone. He wanted to ask them about something but "was afraid to" - his words. My husband ended up calling Stu's to complain. The person who answered the phone said she would 1 - check to see if there was miscommunication between the estimator and the crew; and 2 - would speak to the installers that this was an inappropriate way to act. On a past visit to Stu's I was told that they value their reputation on Angie's List - and I believe that is true. I do not doubt the installers received a "talking to." That said, I am glad we do not require any more flooring...I would be hesitant next time because it appears Stu's Flooring practices have changed.

The quality is impeccable. They are willing to do laminate on the stairs which a lot of flooring services are not because it is difficulty. Definitly spent more than other places quoted us, but we got what we paid for. It looks amazing. Their customer service was also incredibly polite, professional, responsive, and respectful.

Quotation Steve stopped by and took a look at my aging, original kitchen floor. He didn't try to upsell me and gave me some advice that ultimately saved me some money: 1) my existing vinyl floor was actually in pretty good condition...just "old". 2) my sub-floor was sound/solid. 3) luxury vinyl was probably my best value considering my neighborhood. Going up to tile or hardwood really wasn't buying me anything at resale....and if we decided to stay, the luxury vinyl would be very durable and functional. So I really appreciated having a true professional consultation and not a pushy salesman. Selection/Design Worked with Jennifer who was very patient and professional. Took the time to show my wife many swatches of vinyl and when she chose one out of a slightly higher (+5%) priced "bracket" Jennifer only needed a short time to update our quotation. Installation Installation was flawless. Installer was friendly and prompt. Cleaned everything up, no mess. My floor is very solid, flat, smooth. Even though they installed over my original vinyl it feels like they installed a new sub-floor. The installer said expert floor-leveling is the key...and he put a lot of effort into that portion of install. He installed new quarter-round under cabinets and the stain matched perfectly. Overall High value service provider. I was assuming this was going to be a $2K job but it wasn't. Very impressed with my new vinyl floor and overall service at Stu's Flooring. I'd recommend to friends & family.

The installer, Jeff, was prompt, efficient and pleasant, and the floor looks great. I was really pleased with how he made the floor meet the steps going up to the second floor, as there is a rounded end. All the base boards went in with the same precision at all the corners. Just one day before the scheduled installation, Stu's called to tell me the flooring I ordered had not come in yet!! The manufacturer had promised the delivery, but did not meet the date. Stu's had a very similar product in stock, which I went in to look at, and I approved of. So installation was able to be done as scheduled! Thank goodness, because all my living and dining room furniture had been moved for installation. It would have been horribly inconvenient if installation had been postponed. I would definitely use Stu's again.

I could not ask for a better experience. They were in and out in two days. The installers were highly professional. My husband and I had said that we could move everything except the family room sofa. In my usual fashion I had written down the wrong date and nothing was moved when they arrived. I was so embarrassed. In five minutes they cleared the family room and kitchen and were incredibly kind about my mistake. When the work was finished the house was clean and ready to use. I look forward to using Stu's again.

IT WENT GREAT, STEVE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AT THE APPT & EMAILED ME THE ESTIMATE THE SAME DAY. HE & HIS HELPER INSTALLED VINYL FLOORING IN THE KITCHEN & FRONT FOYER & PANTRY & CLOSET . THE JOB WAS DONE EXCELLENT. THEY WENT ABOVE & BEHIND WITH EXTRA THINGS DONE ON THE JOB. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN & DUE TO FLOORING HAD WATER DAMAGE & NEEDED A SUBFLOOR, IT LOOKS GREAT. WE HAD OTHER ESTIMATES & THEY WERE SAME PRICE BUT COVERED THE WATER DAMAGE & NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR THAT. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORKMANSHIP.

It all started with superior service in the store. Kyle was very easy to work with, explained everything we needed to know, helped us pick out our floor samples, and explained how transitions between rooms would work. We were allowed to take samples home for about a week to decide what we wanted in each room. The installation was thorough and professional. Three rooms took a total of four days with prep included. Once everything was installed, we weren't happy with the transitions, so they worked out a solution that met our concerns. We will be using Stu's in the future to do some carpeting in other areas of the house. I highly recommend them to others looking for any type of flooring in their home.

Purchased new carpet 10/2014. Installed 11/2014. Developed snags and defects within days. Stu"s had provided a review card which I mailed back with info. I received no response and presumed we just made bad choice of carpet. We had worked with a salesman, specifically looking for a carpet that would not develop snags or runs from our dogs. I gave Stu's a marginal review here on Angie's List due to what I deemed a poor quality carpet and bad advice from salesman. Stu's then contacted me in regard to the review. A representative came out and looked at the carpet. Manufacturer was contacted. Carpet was deemed defective. We were credited the entire cost of the first carpet and installation. We made a new choice of a carpet of different type and Stu's installed. Carpet was slightly more expensive by $250. Stu's did not charge to reinstall. New carpet seems good. No snags. Very satisfied with the way Stu's handled this. I would definitely use them again.

The salesman was very helpful when I met him. I told him specifically what I wanted, they came out to measure, and I asked him to break it down room by room by room to see what I could afford to have put in. They gave me an aggregate cost. I wrote back via email and did not hear from them for 15 days which prompted me to go with the other provider. After 15 days, the sales person sent me an email back saying that he was having trouble with his email, and I wrote him back and said that I hadn't heard from you in a certain amount of time so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I never heard another word from him; no apology, no follow up no nothing. I was very disappointed in the way that they handled it.

We had no problem with Stu's installing vinyl flooring, there was a huge difference in pricing that we chose to go elsewhere. Steve the measuring person was very thorough and precise in measuring and explained what all had to be done. Jennifer was a very excellent sales person. Very patient with our questions and how many samples we took home. Plus, it was close to our house that we could run back & forth with samples. I feel Stu's is very expensive because they are such a large flooring company. Flooring all depends on your wallet. I would recommend this place for flooring, but it was just way out of my budget. Sorry Jennifer

They were very professional. They were pretty good.

We found Stu's on Angie's List and liked the reviews. We stopped in the showroom on Loomis and Jennifer immediately greeted us and took great care of us. We had never carpet shopped before. She showed us options in our price range and never pressured us into buying anything and never tried to upsell us. Steve came by a few days later to measure the space and was quick and knowledgeable. Jennifer mailed us the estimate the same day the measurements were taken. We placed the deposit and had the carpet installed one week later. The installation crew consisted of two men, both very friendly and considerate. One of the men was in training which made us a little nervous at first but as installation progressed, it was clear we had nothing to worry about. It was estimated that it would take about five hours but actually took about 6.5-7 hours which would have been nice to know ahead of time but really wasn't a big deal for us. The carpet looked wonderful. When they pointed out where the seam was, we couldn't actually see it. When we are ready for new flooring in the kitchen we will be using them again. Update 2/12/2015: We had the carpet installed in our new house that we don't live in yet so I did not originally notice the mess that was left behind by the workers. Originally the bad vacuum job and dings in the stairwell didn't bother me but I've now also notices dirty fingerprints all over the doors that they cut and chips of paint off of the banister and some of the trim. The worst for me though was when I saw the mess in our garage which is where they cut the doors. There was large area of sawdust as well as a cigarette butt left behind. We were so happy with the original customer service and the carpet looks great but having to clean up after the workers is incredibly frustrating and now I can't say with certainty that we would use them again.

We worked with Jennifer for the sales portion and she was awesome. She provided the estimate right away and was responsive to all of my follow up questions. The estimator who came out was punctual and professional, as were the installers. Our new carpet looks great. Would highly recommend!

The kitchen and half bath was done in one day. We are very happy with the flooring and the repairs they did to the subfloor as well. The sunroom carpet was hard to get right because it had to go with the couch we already had, but they came up with the perfect carpet and installed it the second day. We are very happy with both rooms and have gotten many compliments on all this flooring.

We went to a couple of stores before deciding to go with Stu's. We liked the variety of carpeting at Stu's better than the other stores, and their price was very reasonable. Steve and his partner (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) did a great job installing the carpet. They moved a lot of furniture on our second floor. They were polite and professional. The bottom line is the carpeting looks fantastic. We're very pleased, and would recommend Stu's to anyone looking for carpeting.

What a GREAT experience working w/ Stu's carpeting! From start to finish it went well. We picked out our carpet in July & they had a wonderful selection of different priced carpets. We were looking for a nice carpet for two bedrooms, moderately priced. We took samples home, had Stu's come out & measure & then ordered our carpet. One of the carpets was not in stock & Jennifer notified us concerning the wait time. She wanted to know if we'd like to come in & find another one as the one we had picked out wouldn't be in until mid-August. We decided to wait & as soon as it came in, exactly when Jennifer said it would be here, they called to set up installation. The two men they sent to remove & install our carpet were professional & knew exactly what they were doing. They did a SUPER job & cleaned up after themselves. I was so impressed. The two bedrooms looked perfect & we are so happy with them. Everyone that has seen our new carpet has loved it & I ALWAYS mention where we got it- Stu's Flooring. Just wanted to say "THANK-YOU" to Stu's Flooring for making this a enjoyable experience. :-)

Steve and Arron were our installers - first rate job. Carpet selection at Stu's was very easy and professional. This is a terrific organization.

They were just marvelous! They are smart, efficient, precise, in the end we were very satisfied with the work. Two people came out the first day , the second day only one man who really knew his work came out, and the last day two people worked for half a day to complete the work. i really admire their workmanship. I have used them in the past as well and that work was excellent as well.
