Stu's Flooring

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Sales professionals were knowledgeable, helpful. Measurements were done efficiently and at the time scheduled. Installers were highly skilled, pleasant and very neat/careful. We could not be more pleased with the results or with Stu's. This is the way businesses should be run! It is definitely an A+ company.

They came and provided an estimate. We delayed start until we were sure of our decision. Once we selected Stu's, the carpeting and wood flooring were ordered. Within 10 days the wood flooring was in. They installed everything was installed within two days except for the trim between the wood flooring and carpeting. In addition several thresholds were back-ordered. Carpet was installed the following week as scheduled. We had to wait another week until the thresholds and trim came in. They were installed as scheduled. Overall the workers were very friendly and professional. They did a great job and both my wife and I are very satisfied with the work they did. The new carpeting and wood flooring look great. Would definitely recommend they to others.

It is very nice. They were very polite, and the men were good. The installation went smoothly, and everyone we spoke with was professional. I have no complaints, and I would certainly use them again.

Stu's had some vinyl in stock and estimate was done a few days after my visit to the store. Work was scheduled same week. Work was completed in 5 hours. We needed work to be done quickly before we left for our winter home. Stu's was the only place we checked that could guarantee the work could be completed in a short window.

They were excellent. We were under a time crunch and they accommodated me beautifully. They worked with me very well. There was a problem with the kitchen as the house was 90 years old. They were able to handle it. They brought a guy who had an expertise in dealing with old the homes. I was very pleased with their service. They did the carpeting in my new house I was pleased with their price. When they said they were going to be there they were there. They did the work promptly and they cleaned up after themselves. As I was a repeat customer they took that into consideration. I would use them again.

This is an excellent company to work with. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything. They explained every detail of their work and gave pointers on how to keep a floor in top shape.

We dealt Mike Novak on sales at Stu's, who gave us a brief description of the various tile, and carpet choices we were interested in. We spoke with him for probably an hour discussing what we were looking for, and looking through various samples. Once we had a good idea of what we wanted, we took home 6 carpet samples, and 4 tile samples to see how they looked in our house. Once we made a decison I went back to Stu's and since Mike was out of the office, I worked with Stephanie in ordering the styles we wanted and setting up a measurement and installation. We did not have any problems setting an appointment for the measurment, and when the product came in, we were able to schedule an installation within the week. A crew of two came to install, John was the lead installer, and seemed to be training the second individual. They did a good job, and John went above and beyond by not only drilling the holes for the closet in the hallway, but also by sanding down the bottom of the closet door so it would properly fit in the newly tiled closet, that was very unexpected. They gave us advice on keeping both the carpet andt tile clean, and cleaned up their entire mess.

Stu's installed our flooring. At the time they installed the flooring we were extremely happy with the job they did. A problem surfaced a year or two after the original job but the problem wasn't a result of the work they did. Within two days of our contacting the company they had come out to our home and fixed the problem at no cost to us.

My experience with them was very nice. They were very pleasant and very professional. They gave me an estimate before they started and it was the same thing I paid them in the end. I felt that the price was reasonable.

The product and the installation was wonderful. We love the wood we picked out and it looks fabulous installed. Once we made our decision, the installation date was set pretty quickly. The team doing the work was professional, on time, courteous and cleaned up at the end of the day. They completed the job within the time specified. The store had promised a cleaning kit when we orded the flooring but fogot to give it to us. they made a special effort to bring it out to the house - a nice customer service touch. The only down side was we were not very impressed with the quality of the service at the showroom. We got very little informatin to help us choose between laminate and wood, got very little information on diffences between manufacturers and regarding price were told they were all pretty close. It was hard to get a feel for what the job might cost us until they actually came out to measure etc. You would think they could give us some ballpark based on room dimensions and price of the product so we could judge if it was in our budget or not. A lttle more help would have been nice but we trusted the Angies List reports and went with Stu's and were pretty satisfied. Note: Stu's estimate was exactly the same as an estimate we got from Drexel Interiors.

It took Stu's Flooring 1 day to put in the flooring. They were punctual. They cleaned up their mess when they were done. They did a good job of putting in the floor and I would use them again.

The whole staff was wonderful, from my salesperson, down to the guys that installed the flooring. I am very happy with the whole process.

On the whole, work is quite satisfactory. The quality of the carpet installation is very good. There was some scraping and scuffing of woodwork and some scuffing of walls with need for cleaning and some touch up painting. Perhaps this is to be expected. The vinyl flooring seems well installed but there is some slight visibility of ridges or unevenness in the sub-flooring which was installed. Again, perhaps this is to be expected. All of the workers were polite and answered questions. Biggest problem: I was not made aware that with installation of the subflooring for the vinyl there is a lot of sawdust created. Since I had not prepared for this I had to do a lot of cleanup afterward. If I had been informed I could have covered things with sheets and saved much cleanup time.

The guys who removed the old tiles and grout were very slow and didn't cover openings, so I'm still cleaning up grout dust. The next day the installer, however, did a good quick job of installation and clean up.

It was good. They didn't clean up after themselves, so we were a little disappointed, but they said the vacuum cleaner wasn't working. We didn't really call them back to have them come fix it, they would have I'm sure, so we just did it ourselves. One of the seams was showing in the carpet, but after we put furniture in the room, you can't even tell it's there. They weren't perfect, but they were good. The price was average. I would do business with them again.

They're good and fast. I buy the grout that dries fast and seals itself so I can use the floor the same day. I still think the price for laying a floor is crazy. This was more the twice the cost of the tiles. It was the same as my other bids though.

Very slow to respond after job was outlined. Had to call to get estimates completed. Area rugs were available for pick up and were not wrapped, just on a very dirty floor for pick up. Not very helpful in loading. Not a great experience. Pricing was just OK.

Rodger was our salesman, he kept in contact while I shopped other stores. He earned our business. They made an error, however the corrected the error. The price was excellent.

They explained exactly what they were going to do and why, and they followed through. They were very neat in keeping everything clean during the process.

They were reasonable, clean, reliable, professional and very helpful about what products to purchase. I would highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience with Stu's flooring. Our salesman was very knowledgeable and worked within our budget to provide us with the best quality product. Their installers were punctual, efficient, and friendly. We were very pleased with the final product.

My Mom needed a new kitchen floor, so we went to Stu's Flooring based on the reviews from Angie's List, plus the location of the store was close by. We were not disappointed. Russ Richie, was the sales consultant we dealt with, and he was incredibly friendly, very accommodating and extremely helpful. Russ made some wonderful recommendations with regard to the type of flooring that would meet my Mom s needs since she is a senior citizen and wanted something that would be easy to maintain and care for. Russ came out the next business day to measure and provide an estimate for the floor within 24 hours. Once we decided on the flooring, Russ set up an installation date for the following week. Due to an unexpected conflict that arose on our end, the installation date had to be reschedule, and Russ was more than happy to accommodate us for the following week. The installers arrived on time, were very friendly, and very efficient. The customer service was outstanding, which is lacking with so many companies these days. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and we highly recommend Stu s Flooring to everyone.

Just a super company to work with. Quiet and cleaned up after himself. Didn't even know he was there.

They were very helpful and courteous when we were at the show room. They showed up on time to install the carpet. They cleaned up everything when they were done working.

It went very well, from selecting samples to take home, to negotiating a price, to installation.
