Hi [Member Name Removed], I just came across your review and because I care, I wanted to learn more about just what was going on, I looked you up both on our database and Google calendar. Besides for a phone call asking about your fan in 05/06/05, I have no record of anything which brings up many questions. 1. Are you just now reviewing your 04/07/97 and 08/23/97 installations? This is when they where installed. 2. You stated your install was 01/01/12?? We have never worked on New Years day and didn't work at your home that day. Where did this date come from (a hang over??) 3. In 1997, I was your installer on both days. You stated I was late?? Which day? One of the things that we try to do is be as punctual as possible (always giving a 2 hour frame to our target time). I apologize for being late 15 years ago!! As far as my workmanship goes, yes I do work fast which may have appeared I was hurrying? Did you experience a workmanship issue?? 4. We have no record of you reporting you fan didn't work within the first few weeks. 5. We do have record that we installed a bath fan in your kitchen? We have never recommended this application and warn homeowners that this fan is NOT designed for a kitchen (it has no filter) but some homeowners say that they will take the chance, so we install it for them following our warning. 5. In 2005 you called about your fan not working. At this time your 3 year warranty had expired (in 2000) and the manufacturer, Solatube International had redesigned the fan. The fan could and still can be retro-fitted. We do charge for the new one fans and labor. (It appears that this didn't work for you because you didn't agree to have the work done?) 6.) Your report says you had 8 Solatubes installed for $1600. This has a error. I very much hope you can answer all my questions because everything about your review is very fishy, to say the least.
