I got an immediate response phone call to my email inquiry. The estimate was provided within a week and within two weeks my window was installed. I'm very pleased with this vendor and the results.

The company gave us a quote the same day we asked for it, showed up on time for their appointment, did a great job keeping the mess down and cleaning up afterwards. The quality of the work is excellent. Very agreeable company to work with, nice employees; we thought the price was fair.

Sun. Mar 3. I e-mailed Jim with a request for a Quote for 4 basement windows to be replaced with glass block. Mon Mar 4 He called to arrange stopping by to do the estimate. The estimate was nearly the same amount we had gotten from another vendor about 5 years ago. Mon Mar 11 The work was done. Jim the owner was very professional and courteous for the entire time he was here. The work was very professionally and efficiently done. He addressed all of my wife's concerns. The work was done for the exact amount estimated - the price was the price. He was here exactly when scheduled and the job took no longer than he had estimated. This is how work should be done! They put service in Customer Service and we recommend them highly. They only get an "A" because your scale does not go higher.

Called for an estimate on replacing my basement windows with glass blocks (& appropriate vents) & had one in-hand within 3 days, without having to do anything else, except give them my address.Then I stopped by their shop with questions about their method of installing glass blocks, as opposed to their closest competitor. Without any hestation, all my questions were answered with examples, common sense, and in layman's terms. These folks are very easy to deal with & will give you quality work without any of the hassles that I've experienced with other contractors. I highly recommed them for your glass block needs.

I asked Security Glass Block for an estimate and they came the same day !! And then I received the estimate the next day !! I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR FAST RESPONSE and when I am ready for the work to be done - they are at the top of my list !!

I scheduled my appointment over the phone. I believe Jim came out to measure my window and I chose the type of block I wanted. About a week later they came out to replace the window prior to my bathroom remodel ( as per my contractors request). The crew arrived in the time window provided and got to work. They told me they needed to remove tile around the window to replace it which was not a problem. They proctected my tube with a large sheet/blanket that caught all the falling tiles. Once they removed the window a problem was found. The bottom part of the wood window frame was rotted. They could not put in the window at that time until the frame was fixed. (This was explained to me prior to the installation that they do not fix window frames). So the workers seeled up the window hole with a piece of plywood and caulked it up so that it would be weather tight. They then cleaned up and took away all the old material. Jim then told me to call him back once the contractor had the window frame fixed. About a week later I called Jim back and told him that the window frame was fixed. He then fit my window job in with in the next two days of my call. The window fit right in. The workers got it in square and put some wood trim around it. It looks great. I really appreciate the patience and flexability of this company to fullfill my needs.

This company completed excellent work. I love the finished look of their work, exspecially my milk shoot! It is the talk of the neighborhood. They also were professional and maintained a clean worksite.

Overall everything went very well. The company has an excellent website displaying several attractive glass block patterns and describing why their installation process is more thorough then that of their competitors. Three workers arrived at the scheduled time. The old windows and wooden frames were removed and the glass blocks installed. They were cemented in place. The workers hauled away all of the debris and cleaned the areas below each window. They were done in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Initially send an email message to the company via Angie's List, and got their reply email the next day. Mr. Coster came to measure the sizes without having to involve me--his measurement turned out later to be accurate. A price quote was provided for 8 total basement windows, but I chose to install just 1. They did the first one with only $10 additional to the prorated price. It turned out very, very nice, so we decided to install the rest. They came to finish it according to the schedule and the quoted pricing. What really impressed us was the crew that Mr. Coster sent to work this project! The two technicians work seriously and meticulously! They took their job for real! They told me that there is something special about this company. I will use this company for other projects such as bath etc.

The estimator arrived on time. We were a little cautious because another popular glass block company stopped by a couple days prior and refused to give us an estimate at all because "we wouldn't like the results". However, this company didn't see a problem with our situation and gave us a really great price. The installers showed up on time and did and replaced our crappy old window with a nice new one! They did an excellent job sealing it up and doing the masonry work on the outside. Great experience overall!

3 workers arrived at about 1:30 PM. After introducing themselves, and taking a quick look at all the old basement windows, they got to work. They started removing the old basement windows and storm windows. After they finished removing first window, two of the workers started to install first prebuilt glass block windows. The estimator measured our windows when he was preparing his estimate. They used the inspector's measurements to prebuild the windows. While they worked on installing windows, the third worker continued to remove more of the old windows. When the third worker finished removing the final window, he began to mix mortar. When the final window was roughed in, the three applied mortar to all the windows. Finally, while two of the workers finished cleaning up, the third worker showed us their work, gave us the guarantee, etc. They did a very good job of cleaning up. They left at about 3:30 PM (took about 2 hours).

Excellent service with professional install work. Now, no more rotten wood windows with water,air or bugs getting in.

I called about 4-5 different vendors for quotes on replacing two windows (the glass and frame) and putting in glass block (this after my husband locked himself out one day was and somehow managed to get himself (a large framed man) through a tiny window-well window in the basement!). I went with Security Glass Block. I liked the sales person that came out and spoke with me. Had many different samples of glass block to choose from. Explained the process in detail on how the transition would work. Maybe it's a woman thing but I wanted to make sure the new masonry around the windows looked nice, and it wouldn't be some messy looking patch job. Security did the job in a day. They were careful to pick a day that wasn't too hot so everything could "cure" when the glass block was set. It turned out exactly how I had hoped. I would not hesitate to use this vendor again, or recommend their work to a friend. Friendly, professional, and their prices were in-line with everyone else. I liked too they had a website to checkout in advance.

I liked them very much. They were efficient and clean. There company is right in town, so I could go and see what I wanted and talk directly to them. They were very clean. They did the work very quickly and around my schedule. The workers were very good. There were no complications. I would recommend them to others.

They were really good. We spent $300 on that service. They were very prompt and they got the job done quickly. They don’t mount it on wood like some glass block companies have done in our home and we noticed that, but they put it from concrete to concrete or wood to wood. They don’t use a wood frame for a concrete building where it can rot out, so they install them so that they are very secure and don’t have any leaks. It is hard to get them maybe because they are booked up. They are very punctual and do something when they say they are going to, but scheduling ahead of time can get tricky.

I was very pleased with them. The work that they did is still holding up and doing well for me. Everything was top notch.

The guys came early. Worked quickly. Tore out the old windows, put in the new. Cleaned up after themselves. Absolutely no garbage left behind. The windows are great. We didn't realize how much more light they would bring into the basement. Awesome job.

They quickly game out, measured, and gave us a quote. They also sent a coupon with the quote for $10.00 off each window on the quote. They were flexible to work with because we had to reschedule the job several times, first for an illness, then because of the weather. They were wonderful to work with and the windows look great. Our basement is already warmer!!!

Their price was higher than the other estimates I received. They were very professional, but based on their price, I would likely not use them in the future.
