Description of Work: This was an extremely refreshing experience! I stopped in to have my wheel bearing issue evaluated prior to having the work done. They couldn't properly evaluate the problem because my car has traction control.They gave a quote for the replacement of one bearing. They found out it was the wrong one after installation. They installed a 2nd bearing before my knowledge and at no charge. When I try to pay for the additional work, they wouldn't take the money. Since I was so satisfied with their work & their integrity, I sent their workers 2 pizzas. This is a rarity in today's world. I would highly recommend them to family & friends. You guys are great!!!!!

Description of Work: I had a number of issues with my 2005 Honda Pilot. It had not had work done in some time. Dave outlined the work that needed to be done, but did not pressure me. Ultimately, I had a heat shield fixed, the rear wheel bearings done, tires replaced and the radiator replaced. All of this work was needed. It was not cheap, but it was a fair price. He has built my trust over the course of all this work. I'll continue to use them for all my car work.

Description of Work: Examine car because it had been overheating and leaking oil. They seemed very knowledgeable about cars. I couldn't afford the estimate of how much it would cost to repair the car. I appreciated their honesty, they told me my car was worth fixing.

Description of Work: On 9-24-12=The left rear tire was sealed/cooling system flushed+right front wheel bearing was replaced for total of $391.20 .-.On $09-26-12 I bought two Goodyear tires for $99.00 each.I had a misadventure with the previous dealer and a tire puncture. I knew I could rely on this family firm for long time experience.

Description of Work: THEY TRIED TO CORRECT A PROBLEM THAT ANOTHER FACILITY COULD NOT. THEY SAID THE CAR WAS READY THEN CALLED, AND SAID IT WOULD HAVE TO REMAIN AT THE FACILITY. MY RIDE THAT HAD TAKEN ME TO THE FACILITY HAD ALREADY LEFT, LEAVING ME OUT IN THE COLD UNTIL MY WIFE COULD COME OUT, AND GET ME. AFTER THIS RICHLEN KEPT MY CAR AN ADDITIONAL TWO DAYS, CAUSING ME, AND MY WIFE TO CANCEL A VACATION. WHEN THE CAR WAS PICKED UP I ACCRUED A SIZABLE BILL, WITHIN A MATTER OF A DAY THE PROBLEM WAS STILL UNCORRECTED.

 + -1 moreTHE CAR WAS FIXED FOR ABOUT $100 LESS THAN THE DEALERSHIP QUOTED ME, PLUS GLENN ADVISED ME OF SOME MAINTENANCE THINGS I COULD DO TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. THE CAR WAS READY WHEN PROMISED, AND I HAD A SLOW-LEAKING TIRE REPAIRED AT THE SAME TIME (BY HIS BROTHER ACROSS THE STREET). THIS IS A FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS. AS FAR AS THE QUALITY OF THE WORK PERFORMED, ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
Description of Work: AFTER MY ''99 PONTIAC GRAND AM WAS DIAGNOSED AT A DEALERSHIP WITH AN ENGINE PROBLEM THAT WAS GOING TO COST ABOUT $700 TO FIX (INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET LEAKING EXTERNALLY), I TOOK IT TO RICHLEN''S FOR A SECOND OPINION, BUT DID NOT TELL THEM WHAT THE PONTIAC MECHANIC ALLEGEDLY FOUND. I TOLD THEM THAT MY ''CHECK COOLANT'' LIGHT HAD BEEN COMING ON INTERMITTENTLY. INITIALLY, THE RICHLEN MECHANIC (GLENN, THE OWNER) THOUGHT THE PROBLEM COULD BE FIXED FOR ABOUT $50 (FOR A NEW SENSOR AND RADIATOR CAP), BUT ULTIMATELY DIAGNOSED THE SAME PROBLEM FOUND BY THE PONTIAC MECHANIC.

Description of Work: STARTED OFF WITH AN ALIGNMENT ON MY TRUCK. THEY WERE ONE OF THE FEW PLACES THAT COULD DO IT BECAUSE IT IS AN EXTENDED CAB. I HAVE SINCE TAKEN IT BACK AND THEY HAVE REPLACED GAS TANK AND DONE SOME FRONT END WORK, REPLACED UNIVERSAL JOINT, AND REPLACED THE BATTERY.
