Maid Brigade

They're on time. Theyr're very respecful of us when we're in the home. Everything is always immaculate. They take the trash out. The laundry is in the basement to be done. They are very thorough.

They did a great job. They were extremely thorough and they were in and out rather quickly even though they did a huge amount of work. They had a big team. I liked their promptness and quickness, I have young kids and they were not disruptive because they were able to do it all quickly. Their price was a little high. I use them a couple times a year.

I found them on Angies list. They cam in and performed some house cleaning. They performed excellent work and I would use them again.

It was great. They were prompt and professional. We have hired them on a weekly basis until we move out, at which point they will perform a "move-out" cleaning.

I’ve had great success with them. They send crews of two or three people to my home, so it only takes them an hour to clean. My home is between 900 and 1000sq feet. I really like that there’s always someone manning the phones in their office during business hours. They’ve always been responsive to my needs. I think their price is really reasonable, and I’ll continue to be a return customer

Excellent. The team that cleaned the house did an amazing job. All the wood work was cleaned, mini blinds, even behind the appliances. Everything was spotless when we got home. Would use again in an instant for any cleaning that may be needed.

They didn't clean everything they were supposed to. It looked like there was stuff they didn't think they could reach so they didn't try. I had never hired a cleaner before.

I hired them permanently. I paid an initial in-depth cleaning fee and then $90 every time they come; I have a one bedroom loft. My initial in-depth cleaning was really thorough and because I am in a loft, so all the duct work is exposed. They cleaned the top of the stuff and did everything and the house was spotless. They don’t use any kind of chemicals, which is interesting. Everything they use is like steam and it cleans impeccable. They leave a comment card every single time they pay a visit asking what they can do better and if I was satisfied. It also asks if there are any particular things I like done next time and every single time. I would definitely use them again.

The service has been very good. They clean everything except for my basement. The price is fair. They are very customer service focus. If there is any problem, they are right there to remedy the situation. The staff is very friendly and professional.

I chose to use them because of a personal recommendation. They use all-green products, which is a good thing. They are a little more expensive when compared to other providers. I would use them again in the future.

Great job - good attention to detail. Office staff is easy to work with and do their best to make scheduling changes if needed. Cleaning teams are always friendly and always ask if there's anything specific they should work on. Great overall customer service, very professional approach. I highly recommend their services.

Quality of work has been excellent. Staff at HQ has been helpful and responsive. Crew is very pleasant. They even wash the dishes they find in the sink. We've been using them from four months and don't plan to stop.

I hated them. We had them several times for about 6 months and it was $90 every time. They did not do a very good job on the rooms that we specified. They were not very thorough and were overpriced. They did not respond well to our requests for them to amend their service. I will obviously not use them again.

We've been using Maid Brigade for years. Some of the things I love about this company - they use environmentally friendly products, they are consistent, detail oriented and insured. Maid Brigade's customer service is outstanding (and I do not say that lightly). Tammy is so helpful with scheduling or making sure the teams are aware of particular requests (like how, very specifically, to clean our wood floors). The best part - the cleaning teams. Since I work from home, I get the opportunity to meet them and get to know them. Each team member that I have met has been kind, friendly and truly eager to please. Of course they do a fabulous cleaning job. And there are always special little touches left behind. . .folded towels, etc.

My experience with Maid Brigade was frustrating from the beginning. I initiated my service request with a web inquiry, and was supposed to get a quote within one business day. Four days later, I called, spoke with someone who was supposed to call me back the next day. After not hearing back from them, three days later, I called again, and was given a specific appointment day/time. When they did not show up, I called the office again, and was told that they were "running late", and would be at my house nearly 1-1/2 hours after the specific appt time. I cancelled the appointment, as I could not accommodate this change. I never had the opportunity to determine the quality of service.

They keep breaking things. They've broken 2 vases, an antique ashtray. Broken a lamp shade. Also a light fixture. The last thing they broke was an irreplaceable item, so I'm done with them.

They arrived a couple hours early than expected. I originally was told it most likely would be afternoon but someone scheduled me to be the second job instead. Just a communication problem I guess. They said they called and left a message but there was none on my answering machines. They missed a few spots on the basement floor and a few small areas on the kitchen floor were dull (missing the polish in those areas). It could be because they walked on it before it was dry. I retouched all those areas myself later. They were nice enough to reduce the cost because of those concerns. It was originally $96.00, but took $15.00. The supervisor did offer to send them back to retouch the areas but I declined.

Some teams were excellent, others just good. There is a decent bottom-line standard for cleaning and they do a particularly good job with bathrooms. We had minor complaints about dusting, especially electronics and blinds. My main issue with Maid Brigade and the reason we canceled our service with them was that many teams would finish with plenty of time to spare on the estimated time (and what I was PAYING for). Instead of going back over and catching things they missed or doing something beyond the typical cleaning, they would pack up and leave early. Customers are not refunded if the service takes less time than estimated. I had many discussions with supervisors and the owner and found them to be extremely courteous and professional. I always felt confident that my satisfaction mattered to them. But the same issues cropped up and ultimately, we felt the service was overpriced for what we were receiving. I may still use them for seasonal cleans, twice a year, or something like that.

Overall the quality of their house cleaning is OK. The issues we have with Maid Brigade that they don't seem to respect our home. Numerous instances of broken items or damage (to floor, stove, walls) because of rough, thoughtless handling. The person who vacuums literally runs the floors with the vacuum on her back, bumping into all sorts of things. In the beginning they had a hard time with our alarm system, causing the police to come to the house several times and giving us a written warning. I once came home while they were still at the house and one person was cleaning her car instead of our home. Responsiveness is mixed. Our last cleaning was bad, very bad. They had left on the lights, bumped stuff over, broke a light in the stove etc. Nancy did not return our call for days, called the wrong number and was making up excuses. We decided to cancel our the service, it's just not worth the hassle.

They ruined an appliance back in June, and now in November I'm still waiting for a replacement.

Staff was professional & competent. Lead cleaner checked work & had floor redone in kitchen, when did not meet her expectations. Workers were timely and divided tasks.

The workers were on time and very thorough, despite working in an unairconditioned apartment during a record heatwave. They did a great job on the stove and the bathtub, both of which had been left in disgusting conditions by previous tenants. It was completely worth it to have them come in before our furniture arrived -- it made my move from another state so much easier.

I was satisfied with the work provided for the price-- can't remember exactly---it was $60-100. For a one time cleaning on a move out it was a competitive price. Some areas that might have been done weren't--- under the fridge for example and the landlord was disappointed, but he acknowledged that they provided a better clean than I would of. I did call Maid Brigade (before I saw the finished work) to report his dissatisfaction and they offered to come back out the next morning. However, I told them not to worry about it after I saw the fine job they did--looked satisfactory to me and I got my deposit back.

We have used Maid Brigade for over a year and are extremely pleased with their service. Prior to this, we had used Merry Maids and some independent cleaners and were not satisfied. Maid Brigade have been extremely professional, are courteous, offer good incentives for customer loyalty and respond well to requests and concerns. When we have people visiting from out of town there is never a problem scheduling them to clean the additional floor where guest sleep, even at short notice. We have kid syndrome, meaning that there is always a lot of child-related detritous scattered throughout the house, and in contrast to Merry Maids, this is dealt with well. The workers are also extremely honest - if something gets damaged they tell you immediately and make sure it is replaced. They also are well organized when it comes to scheduling and are flexible about cancelling days that don't suit. I have found them a delight to deal with and have nothing but praise.
