They did great work! They custom made it and he was only guy who was able to figure out the color that we wanted. There was great follow up service as well.

Picture it... midnight on Christmas Eve. I'm 250 miles away and get a call from my neighbor that my garage door is up, and off the track so far it cannot be put down. Never mind how it got that way in the first place, and that there is no sign of a burglary, how am I going to get it fixed NOW... on Christmas Eve? I'll tell you how... Abele Luebke Garage Door! After a very successful repair job a couple of months ago I took a chance and called the 24-hour number. A very nice lady answered on the second ring, and she had a technician at my house even before a friend from across town could get there with a key. The technician was already working on getting the door back on track, and in less than 30 minutes the door was closed and secured... a very happy and secure Christmas was to follow. Luebke Door even called me the day after Christmas to set up a time to come back and check out the door in the daylight to make sure everything was still ok. A new set of rollers and a few adjustments later and the door works better than ever! What a relief to know there is someone out that that you can trust to call in the middle of the night to help...even at midnight on Christmas Eve! Thank you!!

Everything went fine. No issues.

They were on time and came out the same day. There was a slight problem with the repair, so they came out again and fixed the problem within an hour.

Good response time to call for service..

Called Luebke after 3:30 PM, talked to the owner who was on another call, said he would get someone out to fix. Tech. called at 5:30 was at my house 20 min. later he figured out what was the problem right away. door was working fine as I saw it but the tech took extra time to fine tune and basically re-hung my whole garage door opener. Could have charged me double and I would have thought it wa a deal, have used other companies in the past--not any longer they have a customer for life--TOP NOTCH all the way around.

The main spring for the door broke late last night and the door was somewhat off-track. I called Luebe Door at 8:05am this morning and technician John was at my house 40 minutes later! He assessed the damage and determined I needed a new spring and some re-adjustment. I also had him install a new rubber seal on the bottom of the door as the old one was pretty old and brittle. In all, he spent just over an hour making the repairs and door now works better than ever! I can't say enough on how fast the response was and the cost was very reasonable! Thanks Luebke Door you guys ROCK!!

When the worker arrived, we realized that it was the owner of the company!! He assessed the opener and track, determined we actually needed a new opener altogether, had one in his service vehicle and had it installed and working in 30 min. In addition, he knew of the prior service call the week before and took $40.00 off the installation!! I have recommeded his company three times since and learned recently that almost all of our neighbors use them as well. They are THE BEST!

He was excellent. He was very professional and he actually went and did some extra work that he saw on the garage door itself that I wasn’t actually paying him for, but he went ahead and took care of it anyway. He would be the first person I would go to if I needed similar work done again in the future.

Everything was fine except that we were told the workers would arrive by a certain time. They were not on time; when I called to ask where they were (about 20 minutes after the expected arrival time) I was told their previous job took longer than expected and that they would arrive about 15 minutes later. They actually didn't arrive until about 30-40 minutes later. Punctuality downgraded for the above; professionalism downgraded because they should have called me when the workers were late.

The estimate was done and structural deficiencies pointed out. The job was scheduled and work done as contracted. The structural deficiencies were corrected and everything works perfectly.

On September 6, our remote garage door openers stopped working. Because all three remotes had batteries installed at the same time, we assumed it was batteries. The wired button inside our detached garage worked fine, so we knew it wasn't the door opener itself. We spent the week getting out of the car, walking around the garage, unlocking the side door and opening and closing the garage door from there. Over the weekend we purchased new batteries for all 3 remotes, installed them and followed the instructions to reset them. At that point, we realized all three remotes worked if they had a direct opening to the motor. As soon as we were outside the garage with doors closed, they would not work. It was frustrating. We gave Luebke a call, and he decided that the circuit board had gone bad. An appointment was made for 4:30 Monday, Sept. 12. The appointment was actually kept at about 8:00 pm on Monday, 9/12, because he was tied up on another job. The circuit board is replaced, and the door goes up and down with all three remotes. The only reason I can't give straight A ratings is that delay past the appointment time. We have used them in the past, and we would use them again if we have further problems.

They provided very fast service. The person who came out was very personable and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable. It actually felt like he wanted to help. Whoever had installed the garage door earlier before we bought the house had done it in a way that wasn’t according to normal standard or practice. He came out and partly sheared it off. He looked at it and determined that it needed new wheels on the side and needed a new part that he put in place. It is working right now. It was a really good experience overall from getting them on the phone to having the person come out. The parts were not expensive. It was cheap. They weren’t too expensive overall. The labor charges also seemed fair. I didn't think there was anything outrageous. I would definitely recommend Luebke Overhead Doors to other people. It's only been a month since the door was installed. It was a good experience as far as having to do something like that.

Repairman showed up late, but was able to complete repairs quickly. The technician complained about being overworked and did not have a very professional appearance, but was pleasant overall. He forgot take down all information required to process my credit card and someone from the office had to call back the following day to get the info. Not a big deal, but he was clearly not having his best day. Overall, the work was done correctly and quickly and I would use this company again. I would hope in the future that they would come on time. (I got the impression that this was an unusually busy day.)

They were efficient. Their work was good. After they left, I tried but the garage door wouldn’t close or pen. I called them and they came right out. They fixed it immediately. I would use them in the future.

The appointment was made ASAP. Bob took the call & was extremely helpful. I called on the install date & was driving from Chicago. Due to extreme traffic I was running late. Bob contacted the installer & he was able to delay his arrival by half hour, so I didn't have to reschedule....... Randy, our installer went to work quickly & did all the prep work. My husband needed to move a boat for the install and Randy worked on assembly, until my husband could move the boat.. Randy was great!! He was very skilled and handled all the installation issues professionally. We now have a garage door opener that operates easily and quietly. The employees of this company are nice people. I would recommend them in all ways.

Garage door was stuck half open, half closed. Called in late afternoon, they came the next morning and got the door back on track quickly and at a reasonable cost.

Was prompt, professional, and explained everything he was going to do and the cost did not run over the estimate.

I was happy with the overall install. It took less than an hour to complete the job. However I did have to call back to find out if the service guy(s) were still coming because they did not show at the expected time. The service guy(s) showed up and Installed with no problem. I would use this company again.

After reaching one company who never showed up or called (I sent a report about them) and not reaching a second company after a couple tries, I called these folks at about 10:00 A.M. this morning. They nice lady told me they would call after they finished the job they were on in the early afternoon. They actually called a little early and showed up 10 minutes later. They were at the house for about one half hour. In that time they assesed the problem, had the parts on their truck, removed the broken spring and put in the new one, they checked out the door to make sure it was working OK and inspected the whole door mechanism. I paid the bill and they were gone. Total elapsed time from my first phone call was under 4 hours. It really doesn't get much better than that.

Very good experience overall. I came home after a snowy day, only to find that my garage door would not open. I went into the garage to find the extension spring and cable on the ground with the attachment bolt snapped off. The next morning, I called them to come out (I wasnt able to be present - they came into the garage just from my phone conversation) - within 4 hours, they had come and were done with the repairs. I then received a call with a detailed explanation - I was very pleased with the prompt nature of the experience and the communication was good.

Luebke installed a new garage door, replacing one that was over 45 years old, They were able to include an opener which others were not able to do. They took away the old door and did a very good job.

The arrived installed the garage door opener in about an 2 hours. Seemed to of done a good job, the said that they had no problems installing it. Update: 6-29-11 Had to call them back as my garage door was not opening due to lack of electricity (not their fault) they installed a Emergency Disconnect so I could get into the garage as there was no other door to enter the garage. Wish they had suggested this when they 1st installed the garage door opener.

We called Luebke in desperation after checking garage door companies on Angie's List. Even though it was Saturday, Jim called me back right away. I didn't expect him to come out on the weekend, but he came out within the hour. He saw that the electric eye hardware had been improperly installed so that the wire going into it was bent and damaged. He moved it, then replaced the wiring, and was efficient and pleasant in the process. We'd hire Luebke again in a minute!
