Description of Work: Put all new insulation in attic, sealed basement areas and open spaces. Enclosed open areas. Overall good service and the workers were generally respectful but the process took a very long time. Also, there were some errors in the process and they had to make repairs after I requested them.

Description of Work: Intec performed an energy audit on my duplex. The auditor, Angelo, was very professional in pointing out options to improve weatherization. I followed him during parts of the audit and he did a great job of explaining the major areas of concern. It was a very positive experience.

Description of Work: The representative came to my home and performed the energy audit. He was very professional, engaging and open to answering any questions I had. I asked to walk with him as he inspected and he was welcoming. I got a great education about my house. He explained, in detail, all of the nooks and crannies about energy efficiency and my home. He went as far as to explain how I could seal my home against drafts. This was the best thing I could have done for my house. I was ready to replace my windows. He told me that it was the window sill that needed sealing and that my windows were good. That was a savings just in knowing that. I would highly recommend every homeowner get this done and I'd highly recommend this company. It was worth every penny. |

Description of Work: This was a inspection to determine what the cost would be to insulate a home to save money on heat and cooling costs. Lost my job and am still trying to find a job. Currently do not have the money to pay for the service. Company's representative was employee and job estimate were exemplarily well done.

Description of Work: The technician who came out did a good job but the company never sent the promised final report....even after I had written them about sending it, after they again promised to send it and yet another reminder by me (they never responded to the second reminder.) What was a positive experience has soured due to a lack of promsed report.

Description of Work: They are an insulation company and will sell you on blowen in insulation for a fee. They have good equipment and will save you more money on your energy bill then you spend on their service. Good deal for old homes.

Description of Work: They did 3 of the 4 steps, I am waiting for the fourth step-the assessment. They checked furnace and water heater. Did an air flow test of the house with a large fan in the front door. Did an infrared assessment of the heat loss areas in the house. I found several things I was unaware of, and had great time using the infrared camera- It is a great tool for really seeing your house.

Description of Work: Juan from Intec came to my house and did a weatherization audit using the blower fan and thermo-heat gun to look for opportunities to improve my homes weatherization by looking for possible heat loss areas. Juan was right on time and very professional. Test took about 2 hours and when done he was packed up and said he would take the information that was gathered back to the office and send me an evaluation with recommendations via email. I received the email in a couple of days and it was very informative and included estimates of services that was recommended.
