The rates seemed very reasonable and the storage facilities was climate controlled. We bought supplies from them and they made is very easy to access what was in storage.

They showed up on time. The men were friendly and professional. They moved at a nice steady pace. The estimated amount of time was dead on. I was happy with their service.

Poor service. The gentleman on the telephone was not particularly helpful and seemed very inconvenienced when I asked for a quote in writing instead of merely a verbal quote over the telephone. It took nearly two weeks to then receive the written quote which was a little higher than the other movers I contacted.

Fantastic! I really can't say enough positive things about this company. They gave me an accurate quote, arrived on time, were extremely careful and professional. Way to go!

We used them for our initial move into our current house. At some point, asking friends and relatives to move ''stuff'' is cruel. Our house is old, and all of the furniture is bulky. Two Hernia men arrived, and without any apparent effort, moved furniture up and down stairs and through narrow doorways. There is a lot to be said for youth and skill.

Generally it was a good experience. They were prompt courteous and professional. They were able to get loaded up in 2 hours, they made it across town quickly and unloaded in a really reasonable amount of time given the amount and size of the items going up two different flights of stairs. They moved the piano really well. They did break off a leg on one of my shelving units which they rebated me $10 for the glue and I repaired it myself. They dinged up my couch and scratched the leather in several places, but frankly it was a miracle they got the darn thing up into the apartment at all. It was a good experience and I would definitely use them again. Really sensitive items are best left to move on your own anyway.

I hired Hernia Movers to pick up and ship a large, heavy piece of furniture across town. The movers showed up on time and completed the job safely. My furniture arrived at the destination in perfect condition.

I have used Hernia Movers before and they are very good. This time there were a few small problems, but I am still pleased overall. The arranged time was 9-9:15 am. I received a call at 8:15 (while I was driving my daughter to school) saying they were outside my door. So the crew was not given the correct time. They loaded everything efficiently, and took apart and reassembled several items as needed. There were a few small examples when their attention to detail was not 100%, but it was still very good.

They did a very good job they worked until the job was finished and I would recommend them to anyone that need movers.

They did a great job however I would make sure that when they are packing your goods in the truck that they use the moving blankets. Some of our items were scratched since they were not covered in a moving blanket. Overall the crew was good and they did what they said they would do.

These guys are awesome. They moved our place (a 2 bedroom apartment) - in 2.5 hours, including drive time to the new place! They showed up on time, loaded everything on the truck, then started driving to the new place without us even having to ask. We only requested 2 men, but 3 showed up, which worked out fine. They only charged us for 2 people per hour for travel time and then 3 people for the actual move- which in the end saved us money. We budgeted $500 for the move and it only cost us $300. They are WELL WORTH IT, since it would have cost us $150 to rent a truck and move everything ourselves, which would have taken all day. They were very nice and careful with our stuff.

We were very impressed with Hernia Movers. The movers, Dave and Ben were very efficient, courteous and professional. We couldn't believe how quickly they completed the job. Another company also listed on Angie's List said the job would take twice as long and therefore the price would have been significantly higher. We would definitely use them again.

Two guys, one truck, fantastic service. Arrived on time at both pick up locations; delivered and carried items up steep, narrow staircase at new apartment (How they managed to get that seven-foot sofa into that apartment I'll never know). I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service provided by this company.

Hernia was on time, the movers were polite and efficient. They promptly notified me of a small tear in a paper lamp shade, and offered $25 off of my bill, despite my telling them the shade didn't even cost that much! I was completely moved in 2 1/2 hours.

We loved Hernia Movers, they were great.

The team that showed up did not look very professional but they were. They worked together as a team and were very careful both with the objects that they moved and with our home.

THEY LEFT 4 VAN LOADS OF STUFF THAT I HAD TO MOVE MYSELF. I WAS PRETTY UNHAPPY. I HAD FOUR GUYS MOVING, AND I FELT THEY SPENT A LOT OF TIME STANDING AROUND. THEY HAD TO MAKE TWO TRIPS WITH THEIR MOVING VAN AND THEY STILL LEFT A LOT OF STUFF, AND I MOVED FROM A SMALL HOUSE TO ANOTHER SMALL HOUSE. THEY JUST DUMPED A LOT OF THE STUFF IN THE GARAGE. IT WILL BE SPRING BEFORE I CAN GET MY CAR IN THERE. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET 4 GUYS FOR $164 AN HOUR, IT TOOK THEM 8 HOURS. I TOOK THE WORD FOR THEIR FACT THAT EVERYTHING WAS OUT OF THE HOUSE. I CAN'T IMAGINE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 8 HOURS OF WORK FOR A MOVE 5 MINUTES AWAY. I THINK THE PRICE WAS TOO HIGH BECAUSE I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT IN LESS TIME.

HERNIA WAS WONDERFUL. AFTER OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER (MORE HIGHLY RATED) ANGIE'S LIST COMPANY, WE WERE CONCERNED THAT BECAUSE THE JOB WAS SMALLER, WE WOULD BE TREATED POORLY. NOT SO WITH HERNIA. THEY WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE SOMETHING RIGHT AWAY (AT A SPECIFIC TIME) AND ARRIVED PROMPTLY. THEY ALSO WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

BEST MOVING MEN I'VE EVER WORKED WITH. FAST, PROFESSIONAL, CAREFUL, NICE GUYS.

I WAS VERY PLEASED. THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER MOVERS IN TOWN. A CREW OF 3 GUYS ARRIVED AT LATER END OF RANGE. THEY DIDN'T TALK A LOT BUT ASKED QUESTIONS WHEN THEY NEEDED AND GOT THE JOB DONE. FRIENDLY GUYS - BUT IT HELPED TO PROVIDE DOUGHNUTS AT THE START OF THE JOB!

GREAT JOB. TOOK EXTRA CARE TO NOT BREAK ANYTHING. VERY EFFICIENT.

EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH HERNIA (THE PERSON GIVING THE ESTIMATE, THE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE OFFICE, THE MOVERS, ETC.) WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THE MOVERS WERE VERY EFFICIENT. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

IT TOOK THREE HOURS AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND WERE VERY PROMPT. I HAD ASKED IF THEY HAD AN ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT AND THE YOUNG MAN (AARON) SAID HE DID NOT KNOW. I CALLED THE OFFICE MENTIONED THAT I HAD GOT THEIR NAME OUT OF THE ANGIE'S LIST BOOKLET. I GOT NO RESPONSE AND THEN CALLED AGAIN, LEFT THE MESSAGE AND HAVE STILL NOT GOT A RESPONSE.

EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETED EXACTLY AS I HAD REQUESTED. THEY WERE PROMPT, ACCOMMODATING, CAREFUL AND PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY WAY. I APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT THEY WERE ANXIOUS TO DO THINGS THE WAY I WANTED, RATHER THAN THE WAY THAT WAS EASIEST FOR THEM. I HAVE HEARD HORROR STORIES ABOUT MOVERS, BUT I HAVE USED HERNIA TWICE, AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
