The crew sent was amazing. The guy were polite and courteous and very Profesional. This has been the best moving experience thank you to Sam and Manny. If I could give you guys 10* I would.

The team at Hernia Movers did an outstanding job with my move. We moved over the Holidays, and the move went very well. I will definitely call Hernia movers again if I ever need moving help.

I had several pieces of furniture to move that I couldn't do myself. Eli, Quen and Jackson arrived at the scheduled time, moved everything smoothly, including large items, and thru a rainy day. They were not only great professionally, but very polite too. It just stings to pay the full rate for their drive from the company to the job site, but I guess that how it goes. Nevertheless, I'll hire them again in a heartbeat!

I am upgrading my prior review Although it took 3 weeks I have in fact been able to get an update from Hernia on my broken chair They have fixed it and will deliver it at a mutually convenient time Bravo!!!!

It's unfortunate that I have to write a review like this, but consumers should know that there are many better places to trust with your move. We contracted Hernia Movers on Pierce Street in Milwaukee to help move my mother. They arrived shortly after their promised window and really moved quickly to get things out an in the truck. They were willing to work with my mother as things were being placed into her new apartment and were very pleasant. The problem happened during the move and most specifically after. A few items were very lightly damaged, one of them a small chest freezer during the move. The freezer was like new as my mother had only owned it for a few months. When it arrived to her new place, there was a sizable scratch on the top that clearly happened at some point during the move. We noticed it, made note of it to contact them about after we had the chance to inspect everything so they could do the right thing and fix it. This is where you need to consider other movers. They will not be easy to work with. Other moving companies I've used in the past were easy exponentially better to work with when it came to damages. I spoke to the manager who informed me he was one of the two men performing the move and that they absolutely did not damage it. As a customer, the last thing I want to do is argue about a non-expensive item that was clearly damaged at some point during the moving process, I'd like a company to stand behind their work and offer solutions. You will not get this type of good customer service with Hernia Movers. A simple offer of touch up or even a new top from the freezer company would have made all the difference, but an argumentative approach and such lackluster service should make you think about going with a more reliable company that will fix something when they damage it. I'd recommended not using Hernia Movers and instead going with another company for your move.

They move went very well, our furniture and boxes ended up in the correct location, nothing was damaged, the guys were friendly, respectful, and as I said, very hard-working. Brian, the one in charge, organized the process amazingly.

Went great! They had to be creative getting some things in and they did a great job - very friendly and hard working.

This was our third move using Hernia Movers. Once again, they did not disappoint. The four-man team called to let us know when they would arrive. They loaded the trucks in less than 3 hours. The only mishap took place while wrapping our antique dining table with a moving blanket. A loose corner of veneer caught on the blanket and chipped off. The gentleman loading the truck called our attention to the damage, saved the piece and reattached it. He also took a photo for his boss. The repair is barely noticeable. The gentlemen were considerate, pleasant and efficient. At the new home, they were careful of our carpeting and walls as they moved things into each room. The team checked several times during the move in that we were happy with placement of furniture and were quick to change things when asked. The bill reflected one month of storage cost for furniture removed from the home for staging. We recommend Hernia to our friends and family. They do an excellent job, with good communication and respect for our property and our time.

Outstanding service was provided by 3 crew members, who worked very quickly and carefully. They also maintained a cheerful attitude for 3+ hours. The only minor criticism we had was that they were 1.5 hours late for the move-out and did not call to advise us. However, they worked so efficiently that the late arrival ended up not causing us any problems. We would highly recommend Hernia Movers -- they were exceptional.

Two gentlemen from Hernia Movers arrived to unload the truck, were professional and courteous, notified us in advance when they would be onsite, and were prompt and efficient. It took a little over 4 hours to unload everything into the house and they worked quickly and smoothly to get everything into the home. We were very impressed and pleased with their service, and they were friendly and great to work with.

It went fine - no problem. They knew what they were doing. And the fact that I lived on the second floor didn't seem to be that big of problem.

Those guys were so good! They had to work with me for a long time, getting the house packed up. I had to call them after for some secondary moves, like moving the furniture around. I sold my out house and moved into apartment. We discovered the carpets in my old house, fit perfectly in the apartment. The men who worked for Hernia did a beautiful job placing the carpets. They did a lot for me, If I had to summarize it, I would say they were courteous, honest, and total gentlemen. They were very helpful! They actually gave me one of their sweatshirts! I would wear it to the grocery store, but it doesn't match my jewelry! I would definitely use them again.

Mediocre at best. Everything leading up to the actual move went well, but when it came to the move it was sub-par. Even though I provided a list of what needed to be moved so I could get an accurate quote, I was charged double what I was quoted. You would think it would be in the ballpark of what was estimated. I attribute this to the movers not being efficient as well as them making two trips with the truck when there was clearly enough room to fit the rest of our goods on board the first trip. They tore a small hole in our couch during the move and in their defense had it fixed promptly, but it will still never be the same. Overall, I felt bait and switched on price and was disappointed in the service I received even if it hadn't been at double the rate. I will not be using them again.

We could not be more impressed with the 4-man crew from Hernia. These guys were incredible and true professionals. They were being paid by the hour but hustled like they were the ones paying the bill. Given the conditions they had to deal with, it would have been completely reasonable if they had worked much slower. It was raining in the morning and in the afternoon it was very hot and humid yet they did the whole mover at an extraordinary pace. When they found a box that we forgot to label, someone always sought us out and asked us where we wanted it. When we told them they could just put furniture in the basement wherever they wanted (because we had not thought of where we wanted anything), they still didn't just plop stuff in the first most-convenient spot but rather arranged everything as if they were moving into the house. They even had good design sense. When they were wrapping up, they double and triple-checked with us to make sure there was nothing else we wanted moved to a different location. This top-tier service and their hourly rate was less than other movers we considered.

Great. Timely. Efficient. No time wasted. Polite...Great job all around for the 2nd time I have used them.

Excellent service from the whole crew - Jeff, Bill, and their crew - hard working, professional, polite, just what you want from movers. They worked so hard and fast, not one thing broke or damaged. Even with some crazy weather, they still got us moved under the budgeted time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Thank you for making the day go so smoothly.

These guys were terrific. What made these guys great? * Punctuality - they arrived early and did the job quicker than estimated. When you are moving everything is on a tight schedule and a tight budget. * Friendly and Positive - the guys seemed to like each other. Kidding and joking with each other the entire morning. Worked well as a team. Why was this important to me? Ever have movers that glare and scream at each other? Ever have movers talk about how they were going to commit acts of violence against their ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend? Ever been scared of your movers? I have! The Hernia guys were an awesome change of pace. I was delighted! * Fast - the guys were always moving. Looking for the next thing to do. Never saw them slacking. * Hard working! In the end my move went great. It cost less than they estimated and we were smiling the entire time!

The movers were wonderful. They showed up on time and moved with out incident. They completed the job.

My experience with them went very well. They ended up being a lot less than we expected. It also didn't take them as long as we expected. They're priced by the hour, so that was a cost savings. We had some unusual items that needed to be moved, as far as size, and they had both the equipment and the manpower on site to do it. It was really good. They had to move a huge gun safe. They had to take it up a flight of stairs from the basement, out of the house and down another flight of stairs. I'm really pleased with them.

Very well. The team hardly took breaks, and I have heavy stuff! Very polite.

The move was pretty smooth, the 2 guys that came were friendly and moved pretty quickly. No huge issues other than they broke a wheel on my brand new refrigerator and put a small dent in the stainless steel freezer drawer. When I asked them about it he said "I don't see any way we would have done that", and that was it, he just walked away. Half the plastic wheel of the fridge was gone so when it rolled on the wood floor and hit the half with no wheel it slammed into my new wood floor leaving a dent. They had some trouble putting it onto the moving dolly which is when I'm guessing they broke it. The dent looks like the corner of some hit it as its a round hole rather than just and indentation. Both the fridge and stove were brand new. I moved the fridge out to disconnect the waterline and the wheel was fine and there were no dents. Not a big enough deal for me to make a stink about it but I don't think I'd use them again after the way they acted.

Everything was super smooth, from my initial phone call to final delivery. They were very nice on the phone, and it was easy to schedule a date and time within a few days of my call. On the day, they were very prompt in picking up the cabinet, and did a great job maneuvering it into my house. It was a big, heavy, oak cabinet. No nicks, no scratches, nice guys. All within an hour, so met the estimate right on. I'll probably use them for all my future moving needs.

The only reason for a B rating is that the movers balked at moving our 2 large armoires. They are IKEA armoires, so they aren't as easy to move as better quality furniture. The armoires couldn't fit through the doorway of the new place and had to be left in the hall. My sister and I took them apart and reassembled them inside where we are making good use of them.

Hernia was on time, flexible when our needs changed and came in at a total cost as quoted. Provided a three man crew, while others may provide two, which helped the move go more quickly. Moving is costly, and Hernia's prices were ~similar to others (based on total cost, hourly rates are higher given the three man crew). That said, Hernia was punctual, careful and professional.

We chose to use another company who responded by email and followed up with a phone call to give us a quote and schedule our move. When you are working full time, you need to be able to take care of coordinating movers in the most efficient manner possible. You don't have hours in the day to follow up on the phone. On-line quotes and communication are essential and Hernia Movers Inc. is dropping the ball with this aspect of their business.
