Dave was able to rip and finish the base board in a short time with the power tools on his truck. Even though I had given him the wrong measurements when I first spoke with him on the phone, he was able to quickly recover from my mistake and the get the materials needed for the job. He caulked and sealed the board so that no water could get behind it. Also, he added insulating foam behind the board to keep air from getting into the house through the area under the door sill. Dave arrived on time, was extremely polite, and cleaned up after completing the job. I will definitely use Gross Property for other punch list tasks around the house. I think Dave is honest, ethical, and I highly recommend him and his cousin Erich.

Dave was wonderful. We were trying to get our house on the market and were under a tight time constraint. Everyone else that we called had time to meet with us weeks out, but Dave squeezed us in between projects and did AMAZING work. He asked us specifics on what WE wanted and gave us options for our projects. He offered up cost effective suggestions for us, too. His work was of great quality and he is a very likeable and personal guy. He worked efficiently and cleaned up great. I would HIGHLY recommend Gross Property Services to anyone for anything they need done.

I would grade him very high regarding my experience with him. He was very competent, on time and his price was reasonable. He is a nice guy. I would highly recommend him. He is very good at what he does. I would probably call him again this summer for some stuff.

Dave is very professional, courteous, efficient and attentive to detail. He cleans up when he is done, he explains what he is going to do & how long it will take. He makes recommendations about products, especially if it is more cost effective to use one product over another. Dave arrives on time and calls ahead to confirm the appointments. I now have a "Dave's List" of projects and we periodically add to it. I really appreciate getting these projects completed by someone who knows what he is doing.

This service was supposed to give a call back , to perform an estimate and they did not.

Unfortunately, 6 windows with repaired glazing had to be thrown out - their frames deteriorated so much that it wasn't worth of time to repair them farther, which should be pointed out to me right away and the time for glazing wouldn't be wasted. I expected Erich to take a lead on this while working, as representing company that is in a property management business. In addition, I had to remind more than once about my project and the agreed date of starting it. It seems like their schedule is too busy to conduct the business in an organized manner. Somehow another project item listed in the quotation never was brought up and completed - installation of a drip edge above window in a 1st floor. After having an average, at best, experience with the storm windows part of the estimate, decided to not follow up on it. I should give them a credit for willingness to cooperate in selecting the better glazing material from choice of two and experimenting with them. The material they suggested came out as the better choice.

He is very polite and thorough ,and has a good work ethic.

Erich was very thorough and neat! My mother said she highly recommends him. The process was completed over a few weeks since there was a wait for the window part to arrive.

I was out of town on business and quickly needed to correct violations noted by the City of Milwaukee. I simply forwarded the list of violations to Erich and he began work promptly. I met briefly with him near the end of the repairs for payment, but he handled all of the other details of the work, including meeting with the City inspector.

I had a double hung window that was stuck and could not be raised. I got a response from Eric Gross the next morning which happened to be the 4th of July and he was out within an hour. He got the window open and installed the A/C unit. It was an exceptionally hot day and I am very pleased with the cheerful, prompt and professional service he provided and will call again for some additional work that needs to be done in the house

Erich saw what the problem was right away. Our door wouldn't lock anymore. He began fixing the door right away. It went great. Within an half hour the job was done. He was very reasonable & I would hire him again.

We hired Gross Property Services based on a recommendation from my coworker. We had them remodel our kitchen, including doing all the measuring, reconfiguring a few things including moving gas line and fridge water line, installing new cabinets and counters. And and it looks awesome and the work was quality. From the time of the estimate to the end of job, Dave was always on time, professional, experienced, honest and did an excellent job. They will be our go to guys for all future projects. Highly recommend them!

Our basement faucet has been leaking for awhile and I contacted Gross and they were able to come out a couple of days later to do the work. The handyman, Dave was sent and he did a wonderful job explaining why it was leaking and what he was doing to repair it (he had to basically rebuild the faucet).The ceiling fan light in my children's room was flickering despite numerous bulb changes and Dave was able to repair it (something to do with a new light switch inside the fan). He also installed a brand new ceiling fan in the master bedroom that we purchased ourselves. He was courteous and pleasant and we will definitely call on this company again if we are in need of any home repairs. Gross does great work at a fair price.

I called and scheduled an appointment based on the reviews I had read here. They called back and could actually come a few days earlier and that was great for me! I showed him the problem shower and where the water was coming through the ceiling and the attic storage room hole. when he went outside to look at the hole he asked if I was getting water in my basement because my drains were too close to the house . He gave me an estimate of $500.00 to fix all 3 things and we set up a day he could do the work. He showed up on time and preformed the work perfectly! I even waited a few weeks before submitting this just to be sure the leak was actually fixed since it had supposedly been fixed by someone else twice before! All is nice and dry and I am perfectly satisfied with this company. I will certainly call them again for any other repairs I may need.

Erich was professional and responsive. He had to work with our tenant to get access to the unit and she was very positive about the experience. They were neat and worked around her schedule to minimize inconvenience to her.

Gross Property Services has performed numerous jobs for me over the past year. We started with some outdoor work last summer. They cleaned, stripped, stained and sealed my deck and front porch -- which hadn't been done in years. It was a big job, but it was done quickly and efficiently. They replaced boards that were rotting and stablized posts that were wobbly. I remember encouraging them to take shortcuts here or there thinking it might save me some money in the long run, but they take too much pride in their work to take shortcuts -- and their price was still far better than anyone else who quoted the work. The front lawn is another true accomplishment. My yard was all weeds -- so they basically started from scratch. They killed the grass without using chemicals, put in a foundation of healthy rich soil and seeded. It looks great! I could go on and on. Can't complain about any work they've done....first rate!!

In late spring 2011 I noticed that several pieces of siding had blown off the west side of my house during some of the violent wind storms we had. This has been a recurring problem over the past few years because the siding was installed in the late 80 and the fastening method was failing. Using Angie's list I found and contacted Gross Property Services to replace the ruined siding. Replacement pieces were necessary but because of their age, an exact match was not possible. The folks at Gross provided me with a few options and we agreed on a color and pattern that would work. After replacing the two pieces they then checked the fasteners on all the other pieces still in place. All of this was included with the original price quote. I have given this company's name to my neighbors.

I am very happy with Erich’s work. He has done virtually everything for me in the past. This is the first time I have owned a home. I had a lot of questions about being a first-time home owner and he helped me. This house used to belong to my mother, so I know it pretty well. My mother left incredibly detailed records about when to put the roof on and when to change the garage door and things like that, so I know how old all the things are. He has done a lot of work for me. He has repaired my side door on my garage which is not attached to the house. He replaced the toilet and the sink in my bathroom. I went into a complete panic when I saw vertical lines up in the attic that has been converted now into a bedroom and it was painted and so there were these vertical streaks and I thought my roof was leaking. I had the roof replaced three or four years ago by somebody else and Erich came out right away and he said in such situations, I had to keep the air flowing and he could have charged me for that. He has got a good manner as well as being talented. He is an overeducated handyman. He advertises that he is a handyman but he actually has a degree in mechanical engineering. He is incredibly polite and professional. He is very responsive. I would continue to use him in the future.

They did a great job. They went out of the way to do extra stuff. While they were painting, he pointed out to me that the cabinet was pulling away from the ceiling so he put it back up. My wife and I are really happy. They are courteous and nice, and they cleaned up when they were done. They came in to look at everything, they quoted us a price, and then we had them do it; that was it. I have a couple of more things that I think I am going to have them do.

When the previous tenants of my duplex moved out, they left behind a number of items that needed repair. Namely, a kitchen floor with a big chunk missing where their dog had scratched through it. I searched Angies List for a vendor and Gross Property Services was both nearby and had great reviews. Erich and Dave were out at the property the next day to give an estimate on all of the work I wanted done, which also included a couple of things that had been on my property "to do" list for a few years. They were prompt, they offered great advice on the best solutions to a few issues, and completed the work at an incredibly fair price. Since then, they have become my property handymen of choice, and have fixed an air conditioning unit that had a broken fan, replaced a water heater that had stopped working and even trimmed a tree that was overhanging the garage. Even better, they've done most of these things based on text message or email communications from me. I would recommend Erich and Dave to anyone in need of work on their property or their rental property!

First of all they are expensive and quality is also not all that great. The whole work I got done would have costed me less, but I ended up paying more.

He was running a little late, but called to update us. He was knowledgeable and professional. I would hire him again.

Erich Gross is multi-talented, knowledgeable and courteous. I am a first-time home owner with lots of questions and he answered them all. In addition to the above project, GPS has completed several other projects both inside and outside my house to my complete satisfaction. I trust them and I trust their work.
