Our furnace had been giving us problems for a couple of weeks, and we had been able to do some minor repairs on our own, but finally we weren't getting any heat so we had to call a professional. The technician, Tim, came out and told us what our options were for repair and also gave us a price to replace our current high efficiency furnace with a new high efficiency one. We knew this was the better route to go, as we have had problems with this furnace for years. So this was on Monday night, and by Thursday morning Kraig and Dustin were at the house installing the new furnace. They were very friendly, but professional, and had everything done and cleaned up in a couple of hours. The girls in the office made sure to go over all the paperwork with me and all of the rebates that were available and had all of the paperwork all filled out and ready to go for me. The whole experience was great and I will continue to use D&M in the future.

Tim was there ontime after calling to let me know he was on his way and after I explained to him what was needed he went right to work. He had a pretty good idea already, since I had given all the details to Kurt. Within a few hours, my new central a/c system was up and running. The final price was within the quote Kurt had given me.

The process went really well. Kurt met with us and showed where our old system was failing and gave us a few options that wouldn't be too much for the size of our home. The install went fairly quickly with two D&M techs working for four hours and showing us how the new setup work. They removed the old furnace and hauled it away. D&M followed up to make sure we were happy with the service and the new furnace is great. Very quiet and efficient.

They arrived on time, did exactly what we agreed on and took the old heater with them. This was a fairly straight forward job and they beat another bid by $700.

We have been on contract with D&M for several years and have been very happy with the annual cleaning, but were especially glad that the service tech located a potentially fatal flaw in our 19.5 year old furnace that could have made our Xmas season very unhappy. Curt (the owner) came out the next day and put together a compehensive quote based on all of our needs. He also contacted an excellent vent system cleaner for us and scheduled him before our new furnace was installation so that dust wouldn't be an issue after the new air cleaning system was installed. The new furnace, filter system and zoning systems were installed on a timely basis by very professional individuals. They removed the old furnace and did a thorough clean up. D&M's office personnel (Karen and Jennifer) have been excellent in helping us submit the necessary paperwork for the rebates and energy efficiency rewards.

They are very good. Other members of our family have used them and we are all very happy with them. We would use them in the future.

On Christmas eve, I found out my daughter had been without heat for over 24 hours but was afraid to call a repairman and pay holiday rates. I searched Angies List and found D&M Heating. She had called another contractor and was lead to believe it would be a very involved and expensive repair. When she called D&M, they told her when they could come and were there right on time. The repair was not as involved as she had anticipated and she was very pleased with the service and price.

They seem to give me a fair estimate and choices of the types of equipment that I can have installed. They were professional, responsive and punctual.

I have a home warranty and I called them when we started losing heat. They sent D&M. The first visit went well. The technician was unfriendly, but efficient, and he appeared to know what he was doing. There were no parts or materials involved, so I thought that the $187 fee for two hours labor was a bit high. I don't know why the second man was there as this was a one man job. He may have been a trainee. The technician recommended a retrofit to prevent air buildup in the pipes, but could not provide the estimate that I requested. He said that someone would call with an estimate, but nobody got back to me. Within a few days, the problem had returned. Twelve days later, I had to request another service call because there was no heat upstairs. The same technician came out. This time, he was rude and argumentative. He blamed me for the recurrence of the problem, stating that I should have had the retrofit that he recommended. He did give me an estimate of $500 at the end of this service call. I said that I'd planned to have the work done at a later date and that we'd been able to get through earlier heating seasons without bleeding the pipes every few days. At one point, I called D&M to ask them to get him out of my house and send somebody else. He overheard me and decided to make an attitude adjustment. He got to work and did a better job of getting the air out of the pipes this time. There was no charge for the return visit. This was done in January 2008 and we got through the rest of that heating season and this season, so far, with no problems. I still plan to have the air eliminator installed, but D&M won't be doing the work.

They responded quickly. He is always prompt and professional. They are very considerate.

The service was excellent! They were very responsive, punctual, helpful, and informative. I was very pleased with the company. However, when the job was completed, I asked about the 10% discount for Angie's List members on the website, and even after calling to confirm, the technician said they don't do that.

When they vented it, they vented it to the side of the house. At the time they warned me of how it would look, but until I saw it I had no idea how bad it would look from outside. When I saw it, I contacted them and they came back out to vent it through the roof instead. They were really nice about coming back out to do this work. I would use them again for service.

We have used D & M since 1991. They kept our air and furnace going until 1996. It was then over 20 years old. They replaced both air and furnace. We have been happy with their service and will continue to rely on them to keep our home heated and cooled. The service men are always pleasant and helpful. We have been happy with them for over 16 years.

Job 1: Great job, good workers, their advice about the best unit was better than my father-in-law's. (and he's an HVAC engineer). Job 2: They called the on-call technician who was at our home by about 6:00 p.m., and quickly figured out that the problem was a plastic bag that somehow got sucked up into our intake air pipe. Not covered by the warranty (obviously), but well worth the $95 service call to get it working again. Very quick response, nice technician.

I called on a Friday to set up service on my furnace. I could have had someone from D&M come out the same day, but I was already at work. They were able to come out on Monday. They were able to figure out the problem quickly. I asked about my options for a new furnace when we are ready to make the investment. They did not pressure me at all to replace the existing furnace. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of D&M and will definitely use them again in the near future when we are ready to purchase a new furnace.

Always great. I renewed my service contract for the year. They will come back at anytime - day or night for no service call fee with the contract. There will be no charge for air conditioning service.

This company always responds quickly, even in the evenings. I have used them in the past for yearly cleanings and no-heat emergencies both in my home and in my rental. I am planning to use them to install updated heat (furnace, ducts, etc.) in the future.

I HAD D&M REPLACED THE 25 YEAR OLD FURNACE IN THE UPSTAIRS UNIT WITH A HIGH EFFICIENCY GAS UNIT AFTER PURCHASING MY HOUSE, INSTALLED ADDITIONAL DUCTING IN THE UPSTAIRS UNIT AND I USE THEM FOR MAINTAINING MY OWN PERSONAL HEAT & A/C. I'VE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK; EVEN WITH SOME OF THE ODDBALL REQUESTS I'VE GIVEN THEM (NEW DIFFUSERS, ADDITIONAL DUCTING, ETC.) THEY'VE BEEN RESPONSIVE AND HIGHLY RELIABLE. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THEM, WILL DEFINITELY CONTINUE TO USE THEM, AND RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.
