COMPUTER GALLERY

Computer Gallery has done work for us several times, and we have always been very happy with their service, so instead of getting frustrated doing this job at home, we took the computers in, and 3 or 4 days later the job was done. The "new" computer works great, without the problems the old one had (eg, with Adobe, though we hadn't mentioned that problem).

When I purchase a computer, I want something at the front end of the technology. Phil helped me spec out the system, recommended hardware and answered all my questions intelligently. He is not afraid to recommend something cheaper that will do the job adequately. I bought my first PC from Phil and Karen in 1985 and I will probably go there for my last one. You can save a bit by going to a big box but I want to have confidence in my computer. I rely too much on my data to screw around with some mail-order company or big-buy. Phil really knows his stuff and is really dedicated to customer satisfaction. Plus, it's nice to walk into a shop and know who you are talking to and that that you can talk to the same people next week, next month, next year.

Phil called me to let me know that he could fix it that afternoon but that I had some leaking capacitors. He offered to put them on order and I could bring it back when I had some down-time. He called a bit later to let me know it was ready to pick up. When I asked to pay, he waved me off and would not let me pay for the repair. I told him that was no way to run a business but apparently he values customer loyalty and satisfaction more than making up for 15 minutes of his time. I know if I took it to the n***-squad they would have erased the hard drive or tried to sell me a new box. Any other shop might have fixed it a day or two later and charged me an hour minimum. I don't think Phil and Karen are going to get rich doing this but they've been doing it for a long time and have a loyal following and I am one of their fans.

The job was done in three days as promised. I am happy with their price and the performance improvement of my computer.

My computer would simply not turn on at all. Computer Gallery discovered that it needed a new power supply. The part had to come from Dell and after a miscue by Dell, they finally got the correct part from Dell's supplier. Before getting the right part, they patched in the incorrect power supply to my PC so that I could at least use the basic functions (no CD or DVD) until the correct part came in. By that point I was computerless for 2 weeks and needed to really use it. It was so nice of Phil to suggest that temp fix so I could use my PC. Once the correct part came in, I brought the PC back and Phil quickly swapped out the power supply and cleaned the inside of the PC while I waited. He even gave me a discount on everything since I had to come back a second time!

Computer crises are terrifying and Computer Gallery really came through for me.

The service was wonderful. They were very quick and did excellent work. Even apologizing for taking a bit longer than they normally would have becuase of the holidays. I would recommend Computer Gallery to anyone looking for reasonable wonderful service.

The whole experience staved off my worst nigjtmares in terms of document losses, and way exceeded what I thought was possible.

I contacted Phil at Computer Gallery about the slow preformance of my laptop computer. After dropping off my laptop at their shop, Phil got back to me within 24 hours after diagnosising my computer issues. He gave me a quote to clean up the computer, to reload Windows, and a couple choices of addtional RAM. The price he quoted was good. They preformed the repairs and I had my laptop back within 48 hours. The computer works great, better than great. I have had previous computer work done for me (for more money) and they never seemed to make much of a difference. As a small business owner it is very important to have my computer working well. I think my laptop computer is now faster than the day I bought it. I couldn't be more pleased with Phil and the Computer Gallery. I will definitely use them again for all my computer needs, and I will refer them any chance I get.

Our oldish Dell laptop experienced a "blue screen" event and wasn't working. I called Computer Gallery, and they said they could look at it in a day or two, so I took it to their shop (along with power cord, and a spare hard drive we had). They thought they could transfer all the data to the new drive in a couple of hours for $100-$150 or so. The next day (or day after?), they called back, the work was complete, everything transferred, and they updated Windows too. It was a pleasure to do business with them (even for the deeply non-tech member of our household), and we would call on them again anytime. (We had previously taken in a computer with more serious trouble; they tested it and just frankly said there was nothing they could do. No charge.)

Very nice and helped us solve the problem. It was a funny problem and they continued to work with us until the problem was solved. We were very pleased and they showed some real care to our situation. Very good personal service.

I called them to ask for prices and they were able to match some lower prices that I had found. He was able to get my old data on the computer. He reinstalled my operating system, which saved me about a hundred dollars. The computer was a really good, high quality computer. He is also concerned about quality. He ran the computer in the shop for a week to make sure it was running well. It made me very confident that it wouldn't have any premature failures. I haven't had any problems with it.

They fixed it. They did a good job. My computer is up and running now. I was glad they got the viruses out. They also put in an anti-virus program for me. I had no problems with this company. I have already re-hired them and I will hire them again in the future if needed.

She was patient enough to go through everything that she had to go through to find out what was wrong with the computer. Apparently, the virus protection software had gone bad. I was out of town when the computer was finished. I told her when I would be back to pick it up, and she didn't tell me that they weren't going to be there. The office was closed for another four days, unfortunately.

They were really good. I took it in to them and she said they'd call me in 2 days and they did. She took care of it. All I had to do was pick up the hard drive.

When we first took in the laptop, they gave us estimates for the various levels of repair that they might have to perform. The final bill matched the estimate, and we were very happy with the repair. The work was completed in just a few days. We then took an older laptop in for them to look at. They checked it out, told us it was not worth repairing, and they didn't charge us anything for this evaluation.

Everything was fine; computer was fixed on time and is as good as new.

We found them through the mail. It went pretty good. Their service was speedy. The service man was helpful. They were polite and professional while I was talking to them.

They did a good job. I was pleased with their work and would use them again.

Excellent service. The problem was diagnosed and the part repaired while I waited (about 20 minutes). I could not be happier.

My upgrade was done in a timely & professional manner. This is my second computer they have done no problems no issues.

I dropped off my laptop on a Monday evening. I was told they would take a look at it on Tuesday morning and I would receive a call either later Tuesday or Wednesday morning. They called Wednesday morning to let me know what was causing the problem and that my computer was ready to be picked up. When I went to pick it up, they took time to start up the computer and try several programs to make sure it worked before I took it home.

After asking a few questions, the individual who answered the phone suggested I clean the contacts on the battery, and try the laptop again. Otherwise, I was told, the cost to diagnose might easily be more than the 5 year old laptop was worth. The contact cleaning suggestion worked, and the laptop has remained functioning for the last two weeks without a problem.

I brought my wife's computer in. They did a really good job of fixing it. There was no delay and I'm very happy with them.

I was very pleased with the customer service - it was not just the quick resolution of the problem - it was the time that was taken with me over the phone when I called to see if they could help me, and the patience with which they described what had happened and how they fixed it. I really felt like they understood that I know just enough about computers to be dangerous - and did not make me feel bad about it!
