My computer was so slowwwww. It seemed like there was plenty of space on the hard drive and there were no junk files, but everything from booting up to doing anything took forever. I thought that I would have to spend big bucks and get a whole new PC. I called Computer Gallery for advice and spoke with Phil, who had built this computer a few years ago. He looked up the build info and was sure that what I really needed was a new solid state hard drive. He told me that the prices of the drive have come down recently and he guaranteed that this would fix my problems. If it did not, he would build a new PC and use that drive in it. I dropped off the PC and 2 days later I got a call from Karen to come pick it up. She said it was FAST and I would be happy with it. Got it home and WOW what a difference! It booted up so fast and never hesitates or stutters like it used to. I am so happy! I only had to spend just short of $300 to have what seems like a brand new PC. Plus I didn't have to change my operating system or other programs. I can't say enough about the great work and advice that Computer Gallery has given me over the years! Phil & Karen really know their stuff!

Computer had a virus of some sort. Karen cleaned it up. Karen and Phil are always available; always friendly and helpful; and always do excellent work.

I am not the least tech savy and Phil did a great job communicating in a manner that I could understand.

My computer died. Turns out it was the power supply unit. Phil came in on a Saturday morning although the shop is not generally open on Saturdays. Repairs were completed and the computer was ready on Monday. You don't get faster than that. I asked about whether or not I needed to upgrade the computer. Phil, however, told me that it wasn't necessary for the tasks I am doing. Anywhere else would likely have been happy to sell me a new computer. Great, honest service and support.

They failed to replicate it and I took it back. There was personal information and they treated it with confidentiality.

We have used Karen and Phil at Computer Gallery for years. It is good to have their reliable skills at our service and to have them give advice that is not invested in any particular product line.

I found this provider on Angie's List a couple of years ago and have been glued to their quality and thorough assistance ever since. Phil found the problem with my old PC and offered repair options, but I decided that it was time for a new one. We discussed a "wish list" and he gave me a reasonable quote. I have a computer science technical degree, so when Phil gave me the specs, I knew he was offering top quality components and rugged pre-release testing. Two weeks later I picked up the new PC and couldn't be happier!

We have used Computer Gallery for years, including purchasing computers from them. We have found their work honest and excellent. I felt it would be helpful to have had slightly more patient and supportive explanations and use suggestions, but I greatly appreciated the reassurance that my unit is still very serviceable for my uses and Computer Gallery was not trying to sell me any services nor hardware unnecessarily.

Phil had previously worked on our office XP tower - but the motherboard was failing. Due to our need for the continuing use of some legacy software, we needed a new computer that ran the MS XP operating system. He did some research and configured a new faster computer that still would run on the XP system. Dropped off our old computer on Monday - he completely transferred all data and programs to the new computer. We still could use our wireless keyboard, mouse, sound system, printer and monitor. Picked it up on Wed - now working with virtually no problems. We are delighted with the result with little down time to our small company.

The same day I called I dropped off my computer. Karen called the next day to say the recovery had gone well and I could come pick up both the dead and good drive, as well as the dead computer. In the process of recovering I clicked once to often and hid some of my files. I called again, and talked to Phil who connected to my computer via the internet and quickly made the files visible again. Also very much appreciated!

Great service. He is also very friendly. And he gave great advice on purchasing future PC's and laptops. I would definitely return here for any PC issues.

They worked hard to fix the problems with the computer. I was very happy with the service. I certainly got my money’s worth and they did not charge me any extra even though it took them longer than expected.

Hard Drives failedCalled computer gallery - brought the computer to computer gallery.CG diagnosed the machine, then recovered the data. Put in two new hard drives. Reformatted the RAID.Total time was about two days.

I dropped off the CPU on my way to work. Picked it up on my way home the next day and have had no problems since. The price may seem a little high, but after checking around, it's competitive. Also, I was in need of someone local who could actually operate the hardware to tell me what was going on. I did not want an off-site company to clean it up remotely.

I picked the computer up about a week after our discussion and have had no system issues since. I had been somewhat reluctant to take my computer anywhere, as I've worked with computers for years and it was hard to trust an "outsider". I found this company on Angie's List and was also surprised to find an amazingly knowledgeable and pleasant "geek" who couldn't figure out the problem - and said so. The candor was most appreciated, along with the overall professionalism, result, willingness to answer questions and offer suggestions. I'm delighted!

I called the company to see if they could replace the fan of my VAIO laptop which was making noises. I was told that was going to take about two hours of work, and the fan part was going to cost about 65-75 dollars. i was also told that for the price of fixing my computer, I would be better off just buying a new computer. I explained I did not want to buy a new computer. Finally i was told they could not perform the job. So, I went on the internet and found, not only the part on EBAY for $29,99, but also found a film on YOUTUBE on how to change the part, step by step. In the film, it took about 15 minutes for the person to change. Very easy procedure. I have order the part from EBAY and I will be fixing the computer myself.

Within a day they were able to diagnose the problem with my computer and have it fixed a back to me - at a very reasonable price!

They did an OUTSTANDING job of investigating, fixing the immediate problem and THOROUGHLY testing the PC to be sure everything was working properly. I thought the price was low considering the amount of work that they did. The only disadvantage is that a private person has to take the PC to the store and the repair might not take place immediately.

I have used them before and again I walked away completely satisfied.

Diagnosed quickly. Gave me my options. They had it fixed in a few days and gave me back my old hard drive. They installed a new hard drive, installed Windows Vista on it, and got it up and running for the estimated price that they had given me.

They were very thorough and fully explained everything they were going to do.

My computer was hanging up during boot-ups. It was difficult to determine if it was a virus or a crash. Referencing Angie's List, I chose Computer Gallery due to the good feedback. They had my computer for 24hrs. then called me to tell me it was repaired. I went to pick it up, was given a good explanation regarding the problem as well as the repair and was on my way.

We had trouble with Internet Explorer...window/program would not open for us. Through Angie's List and the rating this company received, I contacted the Computer Gallery. Upon dropping off the laptop, they indicated a current 2-3 day timeframe for diagnosis. On the 4th day, we receveid a phone call indicating the computer was repaired. The Computer Gallery has great hourly fees for computer repair, and I intend to bring this company more busniess...have a desktop computer that needs to be looked at next.
