College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

College Hunks when above and beyond for my junk clean-out of a house I sold. They were great to work with and took the time to break down furniture so it took up the least amount of space. Doesn't get better then that! Thank you: Enste, Jamie, and Blake!

DJ, Dwayne and Kevin did an outstanding job! They arrived on time, worked extremely hard, quick and efficiently to load and unload our furniture. While they had to contend with some tight spaces, they made sure that they never even made contact with a wall. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone looking for movers in the Milwaukee area.

The movers, Enste and Blake, did an excellent job. They moved large furniture down a steep stairway in the condo unit without a single bump or damage.

Wow, talk about service!! These guys were polite, professional and willing to help. My hats off to Alex, Dan, Kevin and Alijah who kept on working and asked what else needed to be done. They even sweep up the driveway. I have to single out Enste. He worked with me on how to remove the drafting table. We came up with a strategy and came back the next day. With the right tools and working together the table was gone! EXCELLENT SERVICE and thanks for everything.

Great! DJ, John and Kevin were extremely nice and did a terrific, careful and efficient job. I was impressed with the wrapping of furniture. The local owner Brian came by near the end of the job to check into how things were going, and helped out with the move a bit too. If you want very nice people who are easy to work with and know what they're doing, hire these guys. I also like that they charge an hourly rate, unlike some moving companies. College Hunks was much less than some other moving estimates.

Very good experience; the team of Derek, Alijah, and Connor were prompt, polite, and professional. They loaded and hauled away a tremendous amount of stuff in about two hours. A very good experience at a very fair price!

Derek and Darvell from College Hunks arrived on time, gave an accurate estimate upfront, and removed the furniture quickly and carefully. They presented themselves as professionals and were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely hire Derek and Darvell again!

They showed up then REFUSED to do the job because I told them I could only afford 3 hours. I told them that I understand if they couldn't move it all in that time but could they at least just move the furniture? (I'm a single gal so it's not like I was a family of 4 with kids & a ton of furniture. Most of my furniture is IKEA). They were horrible. They say in their truck for 35 minutes, got out, then said, "I'm not suppose to do this but call ..." they gave me the name of another company! WHO DOES THAT?!?! They left me in a lurch & when I called one of the owners to task, he claimed I was being verbally abusive. A millennium left a breast cancer patient in a lurch then couldn't handle being put in his place for his company's unprofessionalism. By the way, they're not college nor hunk looking. I really expected clean cut professionals. Not dread locks & huge holes in their ears, the size of nickels. Bottom line is this is not a very well put together company. They only have 3 guys as movers, park their trucks in a vacant Edwardo's lot & do business via cell phone from their cars.

My experience was awesome and I would recomend you guys to others. Emmanuel and Blake were friendly and efficient. They more than met my expectations.

One guy didn't know how to take the bed apart, I had to show him. They dragged the furniture a few times on hardwood floors. They didn't bring a dolly and could have used one. They were very nice and got the job done.

The packing up and moving went well. Unfortunately, after they had finished my cash and engagement ring were missing. If you use these folks, either lock up ALL valuables and/or watch all of the people there every minute.

This was the least efficient, most costly move we've had in 20 years. If you have a small job, then by all means go with these guys. That is probably their strength. Whole house move? BEWARE. Don't be fooled by the "awesome" reviews (customers are told at the end of the move that crew mentioned positively by name will get a bonus). PLUS 1 point for showing up as promised and getting our stuff from house A to house B. PLUS 1 point for being "nice guys" and working all day (in return, we provided pizza lunch and a tip for everyone at the end). MINUS big points for not estimating correctly in the first place. MINUS big points for not being willing to apologize or refund even a penny for scratched floors, broken off furniture handles, missing box of shoes and broken glassware/pottery despite follow-up communication and providing pictures. MINUS points for one crew member being slow with taking apart/reassembling furniture (inexperienced, or stretching out the job in order to make more money??). Our advice: keep looking, there is plenty of competition out there.

Excellent, Derek, Andre and Alijah did a fabulous job. Derek, Andre and Alijah quickly assessed the size of the item, measured doorways and stairwells, and carried the item out of the basement, up the stairs and into the garage. Andre professionally completed the paperwork, while Alijah and Derek placed the stove into their truck. Derek went to Marquette, Alijah at MATC, and Derek went to Des Moines Jr College, and then to University of Iowa. All three thanked us, and we thanked them. We could not have removed my Mother's 65 year old stove without Derek, Andre and Alijah, who were at our home promptly at 8 am, less than 15 hours from our initial call to schedule this job.
