Joe Angel, Zach and Jason unloaded our large uhaul truck and trailer. They were very careful and respectful and friendly. They paid attention to all our concerns and used their time wisely. They did a great job on a big job.

IF YOU WANT YOU PROPERTY DAMAGED THEN CALL, otherwise STAY AWAY! We called Simmons moving (collage hunks) to move us from Summerville SC to Johns island SC It was a cluster from the start! They showed up late and with only 1 truck but we ordered 2. second truck shows up and the guys had OBVIOUSLY smoked a fat one on the way over, the stench was so strong we could smell them getting out of the truck from in the house. The move took 2 days and was scheduled for one AND the damaged our property while moving it. They broke a very expensive mirror, scratched a 55" TV, damaged our bedroom sets and some walls in the new home. I am a pretty easy going person we were told that the damages would be taken care of and that was 2 months ago! They make you sign a paper that goods were received. DONT SIGN ANYTHING till you check your stuff. No effort has been made to rectify the damages and Ryan or any of the so called management will call me back! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

We worked with Jack from the Germantown location. We were scheduled to move on one of the worst days of the year. Our movers cancelled at the last minute. I called Jack and his crew had a move already scheduled. Jack made things happen by asking his crew to do two moves in one day which is what happened. He kept in touch with me the whole time. They finished around 11:30 pm Jack called me to make sure everything was moved. This is person that cared enough to make sure everything was followed through with. He went over and above what was expected. Jack is an upstanding person and can be trusted when he commits. Thanks Jack!

It sucked. Movers broke my dresser and refuse to reimburse me. Never again will I use College Hunks or recommend them.

What can I say but "never again." We looked into using this company around the first/early second week of July and scheduled a quote. They were scheduled to come out on a Saturday. Saturday morning we get a call stating they weren't sure they would make the appointment but of course they were available during the week. We told them we were not and that the quote needed to be done today. They did show up, looked at everything in the apartment, and sent a quote stating it would take a single truck and about $800-$1000. We gave the okay and again were told they absolutely could not do it over the weekend so my wife took a day off of work to be there to let them in. They were late. The truck received 2 pieces of furniture and a few bins of garbage and we were told they'd need to come back and we would get the privilege of paying again. Not happy. The end of the month is looming and we don't want to pay another month of rent on what should be an empty space so we schedule the next pickup for Monday. My wife again takes a half a day off of work to let them in as they were to be there between 2-4pm. At 3pm we're told it will now be 6pm before they can get there so....late again. I get to the apartment and there is broken glass everywhere in front of the apartment. Most of the big furniture is gone but there are still boxes of items for donation throughout the apartment. Of course, having seen all the broken glass that wasn't cleaned up (pushed to the middle of the road so everyone in the complex can drive through it) and watched them break up furniture that could have been donated I doubt any of it was really going anywhere but the dump. They tell us the truck is full and we can schedule another truck if we need to. Ummm....no. There are still two large pieces of furniture (a big gas grill and a chest freezer) as well as what will be about 4-5 runs to Goodwill with both myself and my wife needing to fill our vehichles each time. Plus, as it's now after the first, the landlord can technically call rent due which would be another grand for a mostly empty space. Quote: 1 truck and $800-$1000. Actual: 2 trucks with a third needed, $1500, a day and a half of missed work and the possibility of another $1000 for rent on what was supposed to be an empty apartment. Why exactly did we need the quote? We won't get into the sub par customer service on the scheduling of the second truck or that the person hung up mid sentence on my wife who was trying to ask a question. Quite simply - we hired for a job that was never completed and were overcharged for. Never again.

Ethan and Jack arrived on time and ready to help with my moving project. They moved a couch upstairs to the living room area and two heavy work bench tops between garage and basement. They are both good guys and were very helpful. Scheduling was seamless and they were able to come the next day. Would use them again.

They were 2 hours late. When I booked this company I told them exactly what I needed to be moved well they sent a truck that was too small. The gentlemen that did the actual moving did their best but A LOT of my possessions were left behind including my wedding dress that I wore when I married my late husband and that I was looking forward to passing down to my granddaughter. I have to pay the apartment complex to remove everything that they left behind. They have made no effort to compensate me for their mistake. I don't recommend them nor will I ever use them again. I'm including the monies it would take to replace my belongings

Very pleased with the furniture removal performed by Donelle, Jared and Brandon. They were prompt, professional and efficient. No marks or scratches on any walls or floors. I highly recommend this team and service.

Perfect. Zane and Felix were fast and efficient, plus they were very friendly. They got the whole move done in under three hours. And they had to move stuff from the third floor apartment with no elevator!

We were very pleased with the service provided from start to finish! Phones were answered promptly and courteously. The movers (Marco, Malik and Joshua) were efficient, kind and attentive to our moving needs. Excellent all the way around!

College Hunks was an excellent company to work with. We had their employees help us every other day during one week. They were on time, called us prior to arriving, cheerful, professional, safety conscious and careful with everything they moved. As far as I am concerned, they went above and beyond what I expected.

Josh, Jared and JaShawn were helpful in helping me move heavy equipment out of my apartment. They were professional, they called me early before my scheduled appointment to let me know if they could come early. They came and took care of the work in less than 10 mins, everything was smooth and quick, just the way I like it. I will hire them again.

First let me say that the movers who came to my house were fantastic! Michael, Aaron, Brooks, Zane, and Donelle were courteous, hard working, and did their best to be careful when moving our things. They worked hard solidly for 8 hours taking only one 30 minute break. However, this experience was horrible because of the poor estimate done by Joe. He came to our house and saw with his own eyes everything that had to be moved. He said it needed about a truck and a quarter so 2 trucks came on moving day. Two trucks were not enough at all. I was told half way through loading that they could not move everything because they did not have enough room. I called Joe and he insisted his estimate was fine but that I was asking them to move things not on his list which is why they ran out of room. We did not add a single item from when he came to do the estimate, Not a single item. He did send a junk hauler to take some extra bins at no extra cost. But, many items had to be left that were very heavy. We are middle aged people and one of us is recovering from surgery. It took us 5 days, multiple trips per day, renting a trailer, and several injuries such as pulled back muscles and arm muscles for us to finish moving our stuff. The stuff JOE said the movers could take no problem. That insulting thing is that to this day he insists that we are the problem because HIS estimate was wrong. He left us in a bad situation and never even apologized for his miscalculation of how much room he needed. If I could hire the guys who moved us I would in a second. They were amazing. But Joe made this experience an absolute nightmare I would not wish on anyone.

I called to get immediate help moving 2 oak pantries and a double door refrigerator. Kenny, Dave, Kris, Camron and Clint came and with great care not to damage my new kitchen floor. They were awesome and very careful to fulfill my request. Great service I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

We would not be more pleased with our College Hunks experience. As a matter of fact as soon as the team finished the job, I contacted Justin to express our gratitude and complete satisfaction.
