College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

No one enjoys moving, but College Hunks made it as painless as possible. They showed up on time, were friendly and polite, worked hard and got the job done. For my moving day, the team of Enste, Marco, Jesse P and Kevin put in a very long day, but got everything right. I appreciated their hard work and willingness to move things around to ensure we we got settled. The next day, I had their Junk/Donation team meet me back at my old place and they cleared all my unwanted items out including a large trampoline. I appreciated that they donate all items that can be donated and dispose of items that can’t. That was a huge weight off my shoulders. A big thank you to Marco, Donte and Jonathan. I also appreciated the owners hands on approach to ensure all went well. I would definitely hire College Hunks again.

College Hunks was friendly and easy to communicate with. They arrived on time, ready to start the job. They clearly explained everything they planned to do and asked plenty of questions to be sure I felt everything was packaged correctly and delivered to the right location in the new house. They made moving as stress free as possible and their rates were incredibly reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone! Jesse and Johnny were the team that helped move me and they were amazing :)

Kevin, Donte and Pedro did a fabulous job with my mothers move. They made the move stress free. They even did a little extra for her. Brian in the office was great getting things setup and made us feel at ease about the move. We had a problem getting into the new place. College Hunks was very understanding about the situation. I will highly recommended College Hunks.

Very well. Kevin and “little” Dwayne were very professional, friendly, and helpful. They took great care with my belongings and even ran all my boxes/totes to the correct rooms so my unpacking would be easier. They made small talk (but were always working), which was nice. It felt like having friends move me, without having to awkwardly ask for help. They also took a couch which was well beyond its years and disposed of it properly so I didn’t have too. Much appreciated, Hunks!

Great professional with outstanding customer service

Tony, Travis & Duane arrived on time and they were professional and efficient. They even accommodated some last minute changes to my request with no fuss and no extra charge.

The crew was polite and worked quickly and efficiently to move the furniture to the truck from my second floor condo. Tony, Travis and Marcel removed all the furniture within 30 minutes - a task I thought would take much longer.

Nearly all my boxes arrived crushed. I had limited packing to three size boxes so the same size boxes could be stacked on each other. Instead, they packed small boxes on big and big boxes on small. Heavy boxes were on top of light boxes. ALL THE BOXES MARKED "FRAGILE" WERE STACKED ON EACH OTHER REGARDLESS OF WEIGHT. They did not know how to efficiently move furniture. It took them 25 minutes to get a normal size sofa up the basement steps. It was obvious that they could not look at a piece of furniture and determine how to move it up or down the steps. They did not know how to put blankets on furniture. I ended up re-wrapping 80% of the furniture they wrapped. I have pictures. They did not know how to use a ratchet strap. I had to show them. They arrived without tools, tape or anything to protects floors and walls. They knocked the front door over and damaged the drywall. I know that pictures were sent of this but they still have not done anything about it. I was told I was getting experienced movers. At $75 per person per hour, I assumed so. Instead I got a team lead who said he had been on the job for 3 months and said his crew has been on the job for 1 month. They said most of this time had been on hauling junk, NOT moving furniture and loading a truck.

It went very smooth and quick in less than 15 minutes the entire process was completed.

Kevin and Pedro were very communicative and respectful of my wishes. They treated my items with extreme care, too. I was very surprised that they showed up at the final destination before I did! How they avoided all that traffic on a late Friday afternoon from Franklin to the far northwest side of Milwaukee is something that will always give me awe. I was very pleased with my moving experience. Everyone from Felicia (who took my initial call) to Justin (who did follow-up the day before my move) treated me with kindness. I will recommend this company to everyone I know!

Everything went well both times I have used this Company. From making the appointment through the actual job being done everything was easy and seamless. They showed up on time, and even called before arriving to let me know when to expect them. I am retired Navy so we have moved eight times and we have a very clear comparison on what is a good moving team. Josh and Jonathan were absolutely terrific. They were professional, efficient, and kept us informed throughout. They exceeded all expectations in every area. This is the type of professional service we all hope to receive; superlative effort.

13 hours, 7 guys, three trucks for a 900 square-foot house. Lets just say Tetris was not thier strong suit, the trucks werenhalf full. Still left a bunch of stuff, 2 pickup truck loads. When they delivered to the new house all the boxes were in the wrong rooms, only the bed was put back together. I had to reassemble all the recliners, two display cabinets and reposition all the boxes. And yes I was there letting them know where to put things. Not happy at all.
