Carl's Plumbing Services Inc. worked out well. They didn't charge me more than the big deal purchase. He had to come back to do additional work with additional stuff. My husband was down there with him in the basement. My husband was pleased.

It went well. He did what he said he was going to do and in a timely manner.

No issues with the service per se but rather their exhorbitant charges. This company was referred to us by HSA home owners insurance. Our home owners warranty didnt include permit and disposal charges. I had to pay $100 for permit which cost only $40 in the city of waukesha. When i called them asking why they charge 2.5 times what the city charges, Steve didnt have anything to justify other than saying thats it was a standard charge. Very disappointment that i had to pay more than double than what the city charges for a plumbing permit. They also charged me $150 disposal charge which i thought was super high. Would definitely not recommend this company or every use their services in the future.

If a guy named Chris shows up from the company tell him to leave he is worthless, I should have asked if he was even a plumber. First he looked a few other smaller issues and he was wrong about those as well, the guys at the hardware gave us better information than he did without even seeing the problem. My husband was able to fix the smaller issues with the advice from the hardware store advice not the 'plumber'. As for our water softener/iron filter, he kept saying things like well that's interesting, I don't like that, but couldn't give a solution to the problem he said he had to make a few phone calls and would get back to me. Well three days later and still no call back about what the problem was. I finally called and said I want someone out to fix this and it better not be the same guy, we'll see how they handle it. I asked a HVAC guy and he knew exactly what the problem was again site unseen. Let's see if these so called plumbers can figure it out. Also, I had to pay my $100.00 HSA deductible and nothing was fixed or diagnosed correctly. I wouldn't use these guys, there are plenty of other plumbers in the city who have to know more than these guys.

I wasn't happy about the situation. I just didn't like the service they gave and the way the gentlemen approached me. I didn't like how it was a forced thing, instead of explaining the situation. I just didn't like it.

Went well. Required two visits since parts needed for the toilet and sink were not instantly available. There were willing to call Moen on my behalf to get the parts and coordinate a single follow up visit.

It was fine but I paid a lot. They could have been more detailed about what everything was going to cost. They said that $29 was their charge to come out to the house and it didn't really include much so it wasn't that great of a deal.

He went around and answered some questions about my plumbing which was fine. He looked at one of my sub pumps (I have 2), he told me it was pretty old and might need to be replaced. I came home from work the next day and there was a weird noise coming from the basement. It was the sub pump that he had looked at, it was continuously running. I unpluged it and looked in the crock and I took out 2 ping pong balls. Now I can't prove how they got there but it was really suspicious. I would not use this plumbing company.

Carl came out on time and questioned me on my concerns. He looked into the problem and immediately discovered that there was a trap that was preventing me from cleaning out the drain. He removed the trap, put in some new plumbing and cleaned out the drain. The water now runs down the drain effortlessly. He then proceeded to check the plumbing throughout the house and gave me some tips that were very useful. Carl was very friendly and knowledgeable about his work. He went above and beyond what he had to and for that reason, I will definitely use him again in the future.

The guys are knowledgeable. The truck that he was driving was loud. I paid 29 dollars for a service call and home inspection. The property that I had the service done was a rental property and it was a duplex and I just need a service done on a toilet in one unit so I didn't have him check the other unit. He said the part was 15 dollars. He replaced the flapper on one of the toilets and I had to 59 dollars in addition to the 29 dollars that I'd already paid Angie's List. I thought it was more of you pay the 29 dollars, you get the service call and anything else is extra. I just thought it was going to be taken care of with the 29 dollars. He wanted me to pay the additional 59 dollars and all he did was replace the flapper. I thought that was awful. I would probably not gonna use their service again.

One of the things that were my concern was the price seemed high for the amount of time they were here. We did the $30 special for the service call. They charged us $150 on top of the special that we had ordered. Overall, we were glad for the things that were fixed; but we felt it wasn't at all worth the amount of trouble & cost.

It went very smoothly; My call to set up the appointment was returned in a timely manner and within days the work was done. Steve arrived promptly and work was accomplished in a professional and efficient manner. As he worked he kept me informed of options I had and explained any issues he encountered.

The technician was very helpful and efficient. There were items that needed to be replaced and he was able to diagnose it and do the inspection for me. He was able to get my and ldquo;to-doand rdquo; list completely taken care of for me.

so far the communication has been very good via email...prompt and very good at explaining

Pay attention to your sewer drains and if you lift the cover and see water you have the start of a potential backup disaster waiting to happen. Carl's tech explained drain tiles and how work. Also about tree roots and some ideas on preventing invasion in the future...great guys!

Showed up on time and spent a long time going over everything and pointing out all the things that needed repair or correction or replacing, but never got back to us with an estimate via phone or email or snail mail to do any of the suggested work. We've now got a third plumber coming in to give us an estimate since this 1st and also the 2nd never got back to us with a quote after they inspected. We got our money's worth pointing out all the potential problems but sure would like an estimate and would like the work done

All this work was done quickly and professionally. The one problem that we had was with the repair of a gas leak previously detected by We Energies. While Paul did all he could, and he thought he had made the repair, we continued to smell gas. Paul did return and suggested we contact We Energies to detect where the leak was coming from. Today, 2/25/13, We Energies came to the house, confirmed we had a leak and made the repairs. Kudos to We Energies, and while Carl's Plumbing did not fix this leak, it was located in an extremely difficult location, I nevertheless happy with there other work and would hire them again, albeit not for a gas leak.

Still don't know what the issue is ... probably the gas stovetop.

I needed a faucet installed in my kitchen. Made the appointment. Steve showed up with 2 minutes to spare but on time and went right to work.

Setting up the appointment was easily achieved with a quick phone call and email exchange. Steve arrived on time and got right to work on repairing a leaky toilet as well as a number of long-overdue issues with a shower that wouldn't drain. He had everything he needed for the repairs on his truck. He also provided a thorough plumbing inspection and mad a few additional suggestions. Appreciated his thoroughness and his excellent work!

It went fine. He was very efficient and knew what he was doing. It seemed a bit expensive to have three drains adjusted, but I guess in my next life I come back as a plumber!

Paul did the initial inspection and found another two leaks along the same stretch of pipe. There was water backing up into the bathtub and recommended going in from the trap and replacing the old cap with a new rubber one that would be easier to get to in the future. We decided to have the pipe replaced and then based on how that went, see about the drain. The pipe replacement went faster that we figured and so he worked on the drain. He did the job very well and we are happy with the work. I would definitely use Carl's plumbing again in the future.
