It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. We paid an additional amount. They are pretty proficient. Everything is good. They did the job pretty quickly.

Administrative staff was professional, informative and helpful. Workers were punctual, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful, and professional. They did a great job and left the jobsite in pristine condition upon completion. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Anderson Floor Company showed up right on time the morning the work was to start. They went straight to work. After the floor was completely sanded they called me down to decide on the stain color. They were extremely patient with me as I contemplated the proper color to use. After the color was decided, they set to work staining the entire floor. After they were finished they called me down once more to get my approval of the work done. The next day, they showed up on time once more and they started to work on the finish. They put on a few coats of finish and worked very quickly and efficiently. When they were finished, they informed us that it was best not to use any fans or open windows to help in the drying process, but to just let the finish dry and cure naturally. We were given a packet of extra information regarding the care of our newly finished floor and we were also given a complementary bottle of floor cleaner. We are extremely pleased with the results and we love our new floor!

It went great. They always returned calls promptly, got appointments scheduled promptly, came on time, did a great job, cleaned up nicely.

The job was beautiful. We bought the coupon on Angies list but the cost was quite a bit higher with add ons etc. We loved the job they did and floors never looked better.

Jill Anderson gave us an estimate promptly after our call and explained what would happen and answered all our questions. Scott Anderson and son did the work promptly and efficiently. The years of experience was readily apparent. We are very happy the way our floor turned out. They use all Bona products and it shows. A job well done!

It went really well! Very good customer service with Jill ( owner ) who gave us all the informations about the future work and the products Anderson Floors Company was going to use. Very helpful and nice person. The job itself went really smoothly. The crew was on time, very polite and did a great job. They were very patient when we had to decide what stain color we would go for. Our floors look fantastic! We would definitely recommend this company.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal. Within a couple of days Jill from Anderson Flooring Co called to set up an initial consult, Jill was prompt and VERY informative. I decided to upgrade the finish since the work was being done in the kitchen which also happens to be a high traffic area because you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. That did add cost to the project, but I feel that it will help the longevity. We scheduled the work for the day after Christmas. They were on time and applied the second coat the following day. Jill had mentioned during the initial consult that the floor sander they use is dust free well...........I was skeptical. But it truly was dust free. Very clean! We are very happy with the way the floor turned out.

I hired Anderson as a Angie's List special. Jill came out and measured the area to be refinished, explained the procedure and the products they use. She was able to schedule the time I requested (I asked well in advance). The gentleman who came out to do the work (I can't remember his name) was extremely prompt, well mannered and polite. The living room floor abutted a dining room floor which had been refinished at least 20 years earlier and we were trying to get a color as close as possible. We tested 4 different stains before coming up with one which we both thought closest to the older floor. Not only did he remove almost all of the stains from the carpet which had been on the floor for at least 15 years (and probably longer), but he counter sank a large number of nails which were in the floor and filled the holes with stainable putty and when the job was finished I could hardly tell where the holes had been. I will certainly call Anderson when I get the floors in my upstairs flat rebuffed, as well as the downstairs flat. I was extremely pleased with the work done and people who did it.

The floor looked beautiful but the stains didn't match at all with my other hardwood so I had to have them redo my other hardwood. The work looked great though. They were really nice to work with. I appreciated that they stood by their work and gave me options.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it went fine. They did a very good and fine job.

It went well overall. A bit more expensive than some competitors, but convinced my wife that their hardfloor finishing product was superior.

My overall experience with Anderson Floor was excellent. I first purchased their Angie's List deal of 200 sq. feet of floor refinishing for $350 dollars. I did so after I wrote Jill Anderson with some questions and she provided me with answers. After my tenants moved out, I then had Jill come over for an estimate. At that time, I learned that Anderson Floor Co. uses a Bona Finish that comes in three levels of durability (from good, better, to best, or as Jill labels them, bronze, silver, and gold). It was also at this point that I realized that my Angie's List deal included the bronze finish for the 200 sq. feet that was covered with the coupon. After Jill measured the rooms and looked at the damaged, she provided me a written estimate via mail within about two days. The estimate was broken down by the first 200 sq. feet (which just about covered the first two bedrooms) and as well as an estimate for the third bedroom. The estimate was further broken down by how much extra it would cost to upgrade to the silver or gold finishes. Since I wanted durability for my property, I opted for to upgrade to the gold finish for all the rooms. My price was then broken down as follows: $350 for the Angie's List deal, about $403 for earnest money to hold an appointment date, and the final $403 dollars paid after the job's completion. I felt that things got a bit pricey but the quality of work was there and I did opt for the most expensive finish, which I thought was a good investment. Anderson Floor arrived on time each day and checked out with me on the last day. The floors truly look totally different (in a good way). I would use Anderson Floor again.

It was a very big job requiring us to move all the furniture into storage for several weeks. We're extremely pleased with the end result as the floors look beautiful again. Anderson Floor Company uses dust containment sanding equipment which really works well - there was only a thin film of dust residue that was easily cleaned up. The Andersons are very professional, skilled, efficient, and considerate. We highly recommend this company for their quality workmanship.

Jill and Josh were great to work with. The floor came out better than we had imagined. We definitely recommend their work.

It went very well. The first day Josh and Will arrived a little late, but they did an excellent job. They answered all questions, listened well to our needs, and got right to work. They were very polite and professional. It is very apparent that they do this kind of work a lot. The "dust free" sander really was almost dust free and there was almost no dust at all. Josh was patient as my wife picked out the stain and we are very happy with the final color. When I retuned home from work the floor looked good. The second day Josh came and was again a litle late. However, he agaion answered my questions and got right to work. He also gave us a bottle of floor cleaner and instruction on care of the floor. The finished work product looks great. What a difference it makes. It was worth moving our furniture and sleeping on the old mattress in our den. We have moved some items back into the rooms and next Tuesday we will put down a pad to porotect the floor and then an area rug and will move items back and enjoy our new floor,

Excellent from start to finish

This is a great company that does beautiful work! Jill visited first to go over their products and explain everything thoroughly. I loved hearing what she had to say but did wonder if there would be as little mess as she said. (Years ago when we had a floor refinished, the dusting required at the completion seemed endless!) She was 100 % right on. If I had any idea it could be done with so little disruption to our home, we would have done it a long time ago! There was no dust in any part of the house. The floor is absolutely beautiful. I really appreciated their concern that the color of the stain was exactly what we wanted; we got to see it on the floor first in various lights. They have great follow through, even educating us on how to keep the floor looking like new. I would give them A+++ if it were possible. . . and I am a tough grader!

Jill came out to look at my floor and to give me an estimate. My kitchen floor was about 100 square feet, so that was covered under the Angie's List deal. I chose to pay a bit extra to have an upgraded finish on my floor. Jill scheduled the appointment with me for a time that was convenient for me. Scott and another worker did the work themselves. They began the work on Thursday by sanding the floor and applying a stain. They worked with me to find the stain that I liked. On Friday, Scott came back to apply the sealer. I felt comfortable with them in my home and trusted that they would do a good job. They were very professional and friendly and looked to answer any questions that I had.

I called Anderson and left a message. The owner responded that same day. We set up an appointment for her to give me an estimate and I was using a Big Deal coupon. She left all the necessary info with my son and I called her right away to schedule. The owner was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The crew was very nice and cleaned up nicely! My floors looks great and it was a pleasure working with Anderson Flooring. Would definately hire again and recommend them to anyone!!

They were great. They had someone come over and look at the flooring and provide us options and information. They were real nice to deal with, however based on the old type of flooring I had and cost to remove and replace it just became too expensive. I would certainly use them in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

Overall a good experience, punctual, responsive, and friendly. Overall happy with the finished product.

Anderson did a great job from estimating to completion. They were on time, professional and did quality work. The result looks great.

Jill Anderson did the estimate for our master bedroom floor. Jill was great -- she was extremely knowledgeable, professional and answered every question we had. We received a quote in the mail shortly thereafter, after which we scheduled the refinishing. They were able to accommodate the exact dates we requested. The first day, a small crew came in the morning and were here until the early afternoon. Besides sanding, they sealed all the nail holes and gaps between the boards, and really worked around all the corners. For the second day, one guy came and put on two additional coats (and sanded between each), several hours apart. We had a clear finish put on the floor (no stain), so instead of the burnt orange-y looking oak color our floor used to have, now it's a more blonde color. It looks great and we love it. Over the years we'd refinished all the floors in our home except our own bedroom. We finally decided to get it done and to let someone else do the work this time. We're so glad we picked Anderson Flooring. They did a terrific job, for about what it would have cost us to do it on our own. If we ever need more flooring work done, we will definitely use them again.

I have a large area of hardwood flooring on the first floor of my house. I had some concerns about the amount of disruption there would be and the amount of dust in the air. They moved a few pieces of heavy and bulky furniture out of the rooms before starting. The amount of time that I actually had to stay off the floors was minimal. There was very little dust from sanding. The floors look better than they did when I moved in (to a new house). Anderson is very meticulous. I am very pleased with the results.
