Stopped by after work with the pressure washer. They took care of it quickly for us.

Had my mower repaired a few weeks ago and all of a sudden it started making a terrible noise/vibration. Called to let them know I was worried that there might be something terribly wrong with the mower. Came the next day and did a thorough check of everything, only to find out it was the baffle in the muffler. Said they could replace it, but it would not interfere in in how the mower ran. I decided I could live with the noise as long as I knew it was not something serious. Was told there would be no charge for them coming out. This company is honest and more than fair when dealing with their clients. I would recommend then to anyone in need of repairs.

Checked the mower out and decided that it needed to go in to the shop for several maintenance issues. Found it was missing a spring that kept tension on the mower belt. Went over mower completely and found several belts that needed to be replaced, replaced missing spring and washer. Changed the oil and sharpened blades. The repairs they made, were done so quickly. I was surprised that they had the mower back to me within a few days. They said they knew I had a large lawn and was concerned because it needed mowing, that they wanted to get the mower back to me as soon as possible. I really appreciated that they were so thoughtful. I think they were very knowledgeable, professional and more than fair with their pricing. Would recommend them to family and friends who needed this kind of service. Thank you Guys!!

I am so impressed at 1) the idea of the business 2) response time 3) the expert level of service (Mike). Seriously - I would HIGHLY recommend this company !! Great job in uniquely meeting an unmet need! When thinking about getting my mower tuned up or fixed - the logistics of getting it to the service provider has stopped me. And to be able to have your lawn mower to use right when it comes off the truck is impressive. I will use them yearly for tune ups!!

Excellent service!! Mike came out the next day after I called. He called ahead of time to inform me as to what time he would arrive and he arrived when he said he would. He not only fixed it, but also showed me the trouble and explained why it happened. I found Mike to be honest, reliable, and never tried to oversell. This is a company you can trust. If you're looking for honest, reliable and quick service don't hesitate to call Garrett. We hired another mobile service to maintain and repair our tractor but got no where. I found Maintenance On The Move on Angie's List and called. Garret came out the same day. Our tractor had not been running for several month. He took it to his shop and returned it within a week. He stayed at the house while my husband cut the grass to make sure the tractor was running properly. My husband was able to finish the lawn that day. The following week when he went to cut the grass the tractor stalled. He called Garrett who again came out the same day. He took the tractor back to the shop at no cost to us and returned within the week. He replaced the fuel pump and the tractor runs like new again. Hire this man to repair or service your lawn equipment. He is the BEST.

Very pleased with communication from first call to follow up. Patient and professional. Worker who picked up machine was on time and pleasant. Estimate was complete and accurate. This service would put a lot of others to shame it is so great. The personal style and quality work and care given to every detail is the best I have seen. I would highly recommend to all and would us their service over and over again without hesitation.

He came on time, worked out of his very clean truck, and did the job in a little over an hour. So nice not to have to try to transport these two machines to a repair shop ourselves!

Garrett is cordial, polite, kind and responsive to your repair needs. I am delighted with the level of service and knowledge that he demonstrates. He makes every effort (even on weekends) to try to repair the mower so that we don't have to wait and the lawn doesn't become a field. He is especially effective in responding to emergencies and performs temporary remedies to keep the mower functional until the needed parts arrive. He is very honest and forthright in his communication. I experienced 2 shredded belts and 2 broken self-propelled cables this season, despite every effort to be careful while mowing and to prepare/clear the site before mowing. Garrett responded quickly and kept my property looking good! He is a lifesaver!

Garrett came right to my home to perform the work, which saved me all the added cost of having a repair shop come out and then transport my tractor to their place. He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The work was performed in an excellent manner and at a very reasonable cost. Repeat customer. Called for a tune-up up my Toro lawn mower. Garrett arrived right on time as scheduled, changed the oil, sharpened and balanced the blade etc. Even cleaned the mower really well. Runs like a top. Wonderful service and I highly recommend Maintenance on the Move.

Garret showed up at the time he said he would. He was very professional and his truck and trailer looked clean, professional, and was well equiped to handle the tasks he was hired to do. Garret was very informative of what work he was going to do before he did it. For the lawnmower, we agreed on what had to be done. Specifically fix the belt on the wheel drive. He also explained how it could happen, something becoming lodged between the belt and the pulley most likely knocked the belt off. He then proceeded with the tune up and blade sharpening. Indicated that the last person that sharpened the blade put it back on backwards. Showed me how to determine that in the future. When he began work on the snow blower, he determined what was wrong, spoke to me about it and estimated a cost and began work. Same applies for the power washer. The price for all 3 items was very reasonable. There were no up charges or surprises. What Garret said it was going to cost and what it ended up costing was spot on. Very happy with the service and price. Would use him again, without hesitation.

I called Garrett because the other company on Angie's list in my area was booking service a month out! Garrett had 8 reviews but they were all "A". So hoping they weren't too booked I called. I actually called initially because in the process of cutting my extremely long grass, the mower started to smoke. He answered right away and walked me through basic troubleshooting. I set up the appointment for the tune up and ultimately got the mower going myself. However, he took at least 10 minutes on a busy Saturday to try to help me fix the mower myself, explaining how a mower works, and how to determine a small issue from a big one. Anyway, I booked the tune up for today, just 3 days after calling! And he came right on time, tuned up the mower and took the time (again) to explain everything he did, what shape my mower was in, what to do moving forward. You would think a lawn mower is such a little thing in life. But when it doesn't work and your grass can't stand another day of growth well...you panic. Garrett helped tremendously in getting the issue resolved and then tuning up the lawn mower. I most definately would use them again and am extremely happy with the service provided. Do not hesitate to call them!

My 15+ year old push lawnmower needed to be tuned up for the upcoming season. I had purchased it from a dealer in my area and they, up to now, had done all the tune-ups and maintenance. I called them up at the end of April, and they could do it, however, it wouldn't be ready for at least three weeks. Seeing that my lawn needed to be cut sooner than that, I looked through Angie's list for another option. I found Garret's business and the great reviews, so I gave him a call. Garrett was friendly, and provided GREAT service. Garrett's price he charged was cheaper than the dealer and he indicated that he could get the work done in a week to ten days. Perfect! Seeing that I could fit my lawnmower into my truck, I took it over the next day, even though his service could have come out to my house. Garrett was friendly, and gave me updates during the time that he had mower. He was able to complete the work in one week's time, even though he had to order two new wheels. The lawnmower is working great and Garrett will be getting a call from me later this year when my snow-blower needs to be serviced for the next winter.

I called maintenance on the move Friday am needing service on my snowblower. garrett told me that he could come over sat am to look at it. he arrived right as scheduled with his traveling workshop and diagnosed the problem in no time. blower was done the same day, even had it tuned up too.runs like new again. fast, prompt, courteous, and polite. don't know any other way to describe this kind of service except, "outstanding". my search for a reliable, dependable mower/blower repair shop is over. thanks garrett.

Garrett showed up a little early but was able to get started because my wife was home. When I first called him, he said he would charge $25 to sharpen each blade plus $10 for gas. He held to that. He drove the rider up a ramp into his enclosed trailer and raised the mower with a built in hoist, which I thought was pretty nifty. He seemed to be very well equipped and very experienced and went about his work in a very professional manner. I was very pleased with his work and I am glad to know where to go next time I need help. Also it's good to know that he services snowblowers as well.

We called Maintenance on the Move on Sat. morning hoping to have them out to replace a belt and do a tuneup ASAP. We left a message and Garrett called back in about an hour and first apologized for not returning our call sooner!! He said he could be there at 1:00 the same day!! He arrived at EXACTLY 1:00, drove the mower into his traveling workshop and went to work. He said it would take a little over an hour and it took about two hours...when he was finished he apologized for it taking so long! We are more than a little impressed with Garrett. He did a tuneup and put the belt back on, replaced the fuel line and cleaned up the mower. It now runs and looks new. We will definitely use Maintenance on the Move again and will recommend them to friends.

Outstanding! Contacted this service provider via e-mail on a Saturday and received both email and voice mail same day. Set appointment for the following Monday. Showed up on time and ready to go. Garrett was very up front about what he would do and how much it would cost.. And the work he performed was excellent! He got the rider working for much less than i expected and cleaned up the push mower like new. We are very pleased with the service and will definitely utilize Maintenance On the Move for all our future small engine service needs.

Been having long-standing problems with hard-starting push mower. Called and he speculated it probably just needed a tune-up. He said it would be $60. But if it needed a repair, it would be a trip charge plus $60 / hour. Said if the tuneup did not fix it, he would waive any trip charge. Went ahead with the tune-up and he came out when it was convenient for us. He was right; that fixed it. He said if there were any problems in the next few days where the problem recurred, he would come out again and waive his trip charge. He even called a few days later to make sure it was still running. So far, so good. Very professional and courteous.

I called Maintenance on the Move and was able to schedule an appointment within two days. The owner, Garrett, arrived right on time at my home. He was unable to get his truck and trailer to my property due to street construction, so he actually pushed my lawnmower down the block to do the work. Within an hour, he returned with my lawnmower, looking and working like new. Garrett took the time time to explain to me what had been the problem. Turns out that the air filter was clogged and needed replacement and there was dirt in the carburetor. He also changed the oil and spark plug, cleaned off the chasis and sharpened the blade. He gave me some tips on general maintenance, and didn't make me seem like an idiot, which I always appreciate. It was super convenient having the repairs done on sight. Garrett was very easy to talk to and a pleasure to do business with. I am very pleased and will definitely use his services again.

Every year I have routine maintenance done on my equipment. He was on time and completed the service on time.
