Very good. The owner, Jeremy Moerke, was extremely patient with my delays and other problems with ordering the right screen. He finally told me that he thought that my old Toshiba was almost obsolete. So he actually gave me a much newer Dell laptop to replace it, at no extra cost. I paid him for the work he did, but I don't think he made much money on me (!) Anyway, I highly recommend him for his computer knowledge, honesty, and kind and humorous nature.

Excellent service. Plan to use J-Tek for all my future computer service needs.

He was on time and very professional.

Jeremy quoted a price of $50.00 if he could recover the files. No charge if unable to recover them. He was able to recover some of the files, but not the most important ones. The folders were recovered, but the contents were missing. He ran several programs and spent a lot of time trying to recover the files. Since he was unable to recover the important ones, he was not going to charge me anything. I did pay him $20.00 because of the time spent. I would gladly hire him to do any computer related repairs and recommend him highly.

Jeremy has a lot of experience dealing with this problem, and is very easy to work with . He charged less than than Best Buy and he has better reviews. We were quite pleased with his work, and plan to take another laptop to him. He is also is very skilled at explaining things. I suspect he's also a good trainer for that reason.

Great!! Couldn't have asked for a better expert, a fairer, kinder or more considerate person. I was very lucky to find him!

He set it up at his place and said it booted right away BUT there was a lot of "malware" on it. He said he would clean it up. He deleted iObit software (registered versions) that he said is malware. It is not. He deleted it without asking or telling me first. In short, he made no backup of my computer software and docs. Then he said enough was wrong that fresh install of the OS was necessary. I went over to his place to back up what I could. He claimed that the registry was corrupted. He wiped the entire hard drive eliminating the D: drive and the factory installed recovery software on it. Again he made no backup as is standard practice. Now I have a computer no D: partition. The worst is that he berated me over the phone and said that I never said I wanted the D: drive restored. Absolutely unacceptable practice for a computer repair. You never eliminate a partition. His justifications for his incompetence were after the fact so there is nothing I can do to recover what is lost. He came out to my car and attempted to stop me from leaving so he could again tell me that the whole mess was my fault. He put his arms on my car window and continued to tell me how this was all my fault. He would not stop talking. His behavior was unprofessional and scary. I managed to get the window up and left. I even paid the guy for his time! (More damage was done but I only wrote about part of it. It's depressing to think of the work I must do to restore that D: partition and correct the rest of the mess he made.) When I hire from Angie's list I expect a degree of competence that this guy does not have. He doesn't even follow basic repair procedures. He doesn't know what malware is. He claims "corrupted registry". I doubt he even knows what that means. He uses a free anti-malware program! He told me that all anti-malware programs do the same thing. Not true. Completely unacceptable for computer service/repair. I hired him because I didn't have the time to get my computer bootable. I trusted that he could do what he advertised. He cannot. His incompetence has cost me money and a whole lot of time. Most serious is his behavior. His behavior was threatening. He never said anything that sounded businesslike or professional.

Jeremy did a great job of finding the issues I had with background programs and virus threats. He took screen shots to show me what he found which was great. He also gave me several pointers on things to do to keep things running smoothly and had some very cost effective solutions. He seems very knowledgeable and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.

Jeremy is fantastic. He fixed my machine for a reasonable price and it works great now. I thought I needed a new and expensive video card and he could have simply installed one for me. Instead he was able to fix the problem a different way and save me the expense. He is very trustworthy and I will be having him service all of my machines.

I had network issues that TWC couldn't fix so I called Jeremy. He arrived a few minutes early and went right to work. He accomplished in one hour what had taken TWC about 5 hrs of phone tech support that did not solve my issues. He also installed my new wireless printer and set all my devices so I could print from each one. He went above and beyond what I expected. He was very friendly and informative, and I actually learned a few new things. I will definitely be calling Jeremy again whenever I need computer work done.

I dropped the computer off in the evening and the next afternoon it was ready for pickup all cleaned out and working like new at a very reasonable cost. Very satisfied with the service and the friendly extra advice. This will be my go-to place for any future computer repair work I need.

Jeremy (the owner), repaired the computer. He was very personable and helpful. After I picked up the computer, I had some questions and Jeremy returned my calls on a timely manner and was very helpful. All and all, it was a wonderful experience.

Jeremy is a personable likable guy. He went out of his way to meet my needs about time. He wrote down what I needed for my desk top, and when I miss placed the slip he was there right away via text message to let me know what I needed. He left the window open so if I have any questions I can just call him. He is knowledgeable about computers, and gave me hints. I am very pleased with Jeremy and recommend anyone to use him for their computer needs.

PC hard drive was making a lot of noise when I would turn it on. Because of a personal situation I have at home, Jeremy was willing to come to my home. He ran a diagnostic test and determined it was an internal peripheral issue. He took the pc with him and replaced the fan. The pc is now running great. Jeremy was very friendly and polite. His communication as to what needed to be done was excellent. His price was very reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with pc issues.

Jeremy was very quick to answer my inquiry and was able to schedule a visit for the next day. My husband and I both have home offices and so from time to time we need someone to come into our home and help us with IT problems. I was excited to find Jeremy on Angie's List. After talking to him briefly on the phone, i felt comfortable hiring him to help us out. Jeremy correctly diagnosed a problem with a wireless repeater we had set up in our home. By removing it, the wireless signal to our television improved. He quickly set up my (PC) computer and configured a new wireless printer. He was unable to get my computer to connect to the wireless network, however. I ended up fixing that by purchasing two TP Link devices at Milwaukee PC and configuring them myself. Jeremy was extremely polite, and I appreciated that he didn't talk "tech speak" but explained things in easy-to-understand ways. Also, he was very personable and respectful of our privacy, which I appreciated since he was in our home. I would definitely hire Jeremy to help us again if we have computer hardware problems.

I had downloaded Windows 10. It compromised my antivirus and blocked access to my wi fi. Jeremy removed Windows 10, cleaned up my system and removed superfluous programs. He reinstalled Windows 7 and a new antivirus utility.. He had it ready the next day.

The tech was very professional and full of knowledge. Aside from fixing some major issues that were causing my computers to run slow, or barely run at all, he was also very patient with answering my 2 page list of questions! I got my computers totally repaired in 1 day and I learned a lot of stuff to make some of my tasks at my job go smoother. Of all the computer techs I have ever had to deal with, J-Tek is by far the best and most reasonable in price! I would highly recommend this company. Great service & they went above my expectations for repairs.

Jeremy was very professional and friendly. He was very responsive to my first phone call and was able to provide services quickly. It only took him an hour for him to complete all the work so I waited while it was done. He did an outstanding job and I would definitely recommend him and his services to all my friends.

All went perfect! At an earlier visit my old operating system (Windows XP) was replaced with Windows 7, also with zero problems I would not hesitate to recommend J-TEK for all my PC and WI-FI issues..
