Jeremy was awesome!! He asked what are problems were and helped greatly in making us comfortable even though we are not fluid with ‘TECK ‘ language. He made it effortless!! His encouragement for us to ask questions and watch over his shoulder as he explains problems & diagnosis& repair. We needed him for the repairs/adjustments but we got so much more!! Once I made the connection and dropped off the laptop for repair, it was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The work was done to very high standards and the laptop feels brand new again. J-Tek performed this work for less than half the price from the manufacturer and a larger national company. I would use J-Tek again for future work without any hesitation. Very pleased I found them!

Jeremy is outstanding! I bought a new computer and needed Jeremy to literally duplicate my old computer on the new one so that I had a seamless and easy transition to the new one. He did it perfectly and so quickly, AND he made improvements to my security system as well as optimized the function of all my programs. Plus, Jeremy is easy to work with and fun. Jeremy is a life saver! He is an extremely knowledgeable computer specialist, who identified a problem within a minute of looking at the computer that our last specialist has been trying to fix for months now! He described every problem to me in a way that I could understand, and related it to things that could give me a better picture of what is going on with the computer. Jeremy came out the next day and had everything running like new. He check our wireless service and found out we were not getting the speed we had paid for, He called spectrum for us and had them send updated modem and what a difference it has made. Very professional highly recommend. He charges were reasonable.

About one year ago, my laptop took a fall and I wasn’t able to boot it up normally to access any of my files. I took it in to ubreakifix but they informed me that there was nothing that they could do. I figured that was the end of it and I did nothing for about a year. I later realized that all of the pictures I took on a trip to Australia weren’t backed up and I really wanted to recover them if possible from my damaged laptop. I called Jeremy and brought him my laptop and some external data storage devices within a couple of days. He was hoping to be able to simply access my data by hooking up the hard drive to his computer to retrieve the files, but it was too damaged. Jeremy then ran some data recovery software that parses through an entire hard drive to recover any files it can. It took a few days for the process to complete and he was able to recover every photo. Jeremy was great at communicating what was happening throughout the entire process and keeping me informed. I highly recommend using J-Tek for any of your computer repair or data recovery needs.

Called J-TEK on a Saturday morning not expecting to hear back until Monday morning. Instead, received prompt call back and I was able to drop off my computer later the same day. The owner indicated he typically works 7 days/week. My choice was to drop off the computer at the place of business although work could have been done at my own house if I chose that option. Owner started working on my computer later on Saturday. Initially, I thought the problem had to do with a failure to accept a recent Windows update but, as it turned out, the problem was really a failing hard drive. The new hard drive was ordered and promptly replaced after my personal files had been backed up. The owner provided personal service, contacted me promptly with updates regarding how the repair was going, and provided tips for more efficient computer usage. The price charged was fair for the amount and type of work done. I strongly recommend this company for personal computer repair.

GREAT !!!!!! , If I could I would give Jeremy an A + , he has been my computer guy over 3 years now , and he even comes to my house. I need to upgrade my older Dell , and will soon call on Jeremy again to set me up with the same system.

My external hard drive fell on the floor and I could no longer retrieve any data from it. Jeremy managed to back-up all the files from it to a new hard drive. His communication was excellent throughout. I have used Jeremy in the past and would do so again without hesitation. He's a professional that gets the job done without fuss. Thank you.

After 3 visits it was determined to be a mother board issue. 1st visit after replacing cord. 2nd Visit replaced battery 3rd visit determined mother board was shorting out but if the battery was removed I could start and use laptop, Overall I got my laptop to start with a workaround. I called Jtek after my home desktop crashed. I was immediately impressed by his professionalism and availability. My dropped off computer was available for pick up the very next day! One minor glitch turned out to offer great insight into Jeremy’s character. When I got the computer home, it would not boot up. I called Jtek: Jeremy immediately came to my home to trouble shoot. It turned out I had a plug in the wrong place, but despite his extra time and effort, he did not charge me an extra dime. I am already planning to hire him again for help in customizing my computer. Jeremy immediately responded to our request for assistance, and came to our home for a diagnosis. He took the computer back to his shop, confirmed his initial diagnosis and fixed the computer. He did some additional computer maintenance, and this older machine is now operating smoothly. Jeremy was very professional and efficient so he has earned our trust and future business.
