I contacted Capital via Angie's List. I promptly received a call from Lisa who made an appointment to come out, examine the system and give me a quote. Lisa called when she was on her way for the appointment and arrived promptly. I showed Lisa the system, she took notes and pictures and then sat down to write up the quote. This was very welcome as all of the other 8 companies that I had come out spent 2 to 7 days to get back to me. While Lisa's introduction to the company was a bit longer than I liked, it lasted all of 10 minutes after which she typed up the quote. When she was done, she pulled out a printer and printed a copy for me. No pressure, no deadline but a financial incentive ($500 discount) to get back soon (I asked her and she said one week). The quote was $500 less than any of the others I had done. I called the next day and said I wanted to proceed. Lisa met me a a job site where I was working to sign the quote and pay 1/2 of the cost as a deposit. My installation was scheduled for 10 days later. The installers called me when they were leaving the shop on installation day and arrived promptly. They said that it would be a 2 day install which wasn't a problem considering it was August and I didn't need heat. Clayton (the installer) was knowledgeable and courteous. He and another helper got right to work. There was a small miscommunication between the office and Clayton regarding what equipment to bring, but since it was going to take two days anyway, it did not derail the installation. Capital did have 2 subcontractors come during the installation, a roofer to install the chimney liner and an electrician to wire in the boiler. The first day the installers were at the house for 6 hours. The second day was 10 hours. All systems were checked and verified to be working before Clayton left. Payment of the balance was due at the end of the installation. I chose Capitol for the price and for their 10 year parts and labor warranty In addition, they offer a 100% money back guarantee within the first 12 months. They will come in and remove the system and give me all of my money back if I am not satisfied. Overall it was a pleasure working with all of the folks at Capital heating and Cooling. If the system performs as well as the company (and I have no reason to believe that it won't) it give me peace of mind and satisfaction in my investment.

They left some messy floors when they left. I would use them possibly for tune-ups.

They were prompt and professional in their scheduling and installation. The installer was very friendly and knowledgable and didn't mind me watching what he did and how he did it. I would not hesitate using their services again or recommending them to others.

Capitol completed a complete HVAC replacement at my home in Colgate. The installers were Clayton, Alex and James. All three of the guys were professional and courteous. One can see just by looking that the install was properly and neatly done. This was a fairly big job for residential, and probably not the easiest one they ever had on their plate, but they were unfailingly excellent in how they did their work, and how they represented their company. They should be proud to have these guys on their staff. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Everything was excellent from the communication to the install. Scheduling made sure we knew when to expect them, received and email with the first technician's picture. All technicians wear a logo'd uniform. All were very mindful and took precautions to protect furniture and carpet. Communicated each step of the way. They are not the least expensive, but they do work that is well worth the value. They evaluated our heating challenge, advised us on the best and most economical solution, and got it scheduled just before the heat wave hit. The only complaint I have (wink) is that the install techs didn't drink the bottles of water I set out for them...it was a rather hot day and I was worried they would not stay hydrated. This is the third time we have had Capital out to service our home heating/cooling and each time we have been extremely pleased with the service from the sales tech to the install tech as well as the home office and management. When making a decision in such a major purchase, remember...you get what you pay for.

This was a complicated project. We have a large house and all of the radiators had to be drained to do the work. The radiators and existing pipes had to be traced back to the boiler. It was like solving a maze. The work was done and done well. It took all day, but it was completed correctly. There was a small problem that we discovered, and that was taken care of very promptly and willingly. Pete was our pleasant service man, and he did the job with skill, perseverance, and patience. Now we can heat our family room separately and quickly. Before this work was done, hardly any heat would reach the family room.

They refused to honor their commitment, after they told Angie's List they would. Their listing still states that they do service my city.

The service was good. They came on time and were nice. They recommended to change a wire but it was not bad enough to be replaced and they were going to charge $100 to replace the wire, I thought it was a little bit high. They said , they will post me the invoice but I never did receive the invoice.

They made the entire experience a pleasant one. Jason, the installer, was by far one of the most courteous people we've had work in our home thus far. Jason, the owner, came out on two occasions to check on the project, which was incredible. I've recommended this company to a few people who have mentioned they needed HVAC work, as I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone!

From beginning to end, we were highly impressed! Their customer service is top notch, from the quote process to the instillation. Our only hiccup was that our thermostat was not conducive to the a/c unit. They put in a new thermostat without charging extra because that wasn't noticed when we got our quote. You don't find that level of customer service often. I will use them again for any heating/cooling needs we have. I would give them a 12 out of 10 if possible.

Capital provided the highest level of customer service! They are friendly, polite, punctual, quick and thorough. I had them come out to do an AC tune up based on the reviews I read. Their AC Tune Up Big Deal was quite a bit higher priced than most, but based on their reviews I thought they would be worth it. The technician did a great job and I think they probably do more than the average/cheaper companies. The technician found a few problems (of course), and after my approval he repaired them right then. It was expensive - but AC repairs usually are. I can't say if the repair prices were any higher than other companies as I have only lived in Wisconsin for 2 years and this is the first AC repair I've had done here. The prices were higher than I paid in our previous location, but we've found most things in Wisconsin to be significantly higher priced, so this didn't really surprise me. We did sign up for their maintenance program because it saved us enough upfront to pretty much pay for it this first year. Not sure if we'll do it beyond that or not. They are a good company and I was very happy. I would highly recommend them. No complaints other than the cost - but I wouldn't like the cost of any company unless it was free! ;)

The furnace man did a seasonal furnace tune up and cleaning. He was excellent. Told me exactly what he was doing, how clean or dirty, the furnace ducts looked and when I should have an AC tune up done. Very friendly, clean, went through all of the details of the cleaning, very professional! As a matter of fact, I have schedule the AC tune-up.

The service was great, they were fast and on time. They shared with me how to use it and how to maintain it.

The gentlemen from Capital arrived ontime and explained what they would be doing and the approx. time involved and then proceeded to work. They were happy to answer my questions during the process. They wore booties over their shoes and cleaned up any mess they made. I would highly recommend.

He did the job. Haven't had any problems with the furnace since.

They were great and I ended up using them as part of a Angies List Big Deal. I was only able to purchase one deal through Angies List but once the provider arrived at my home, we arranged to clean the other unit in my property for the Big Deal price. They were on time and prompt when scheduling the appointment (which does not always happen with the Big Deal purchases). Also, I needed them to come back to my home about a month after the appointment due to a new noise that I heard coming from the vents following the cleaning. They did not hesitate to send someone out to my home and help me resolve the problem with no additional cost. This is the kind of service that more Angies List providers need to offer when people spend their hard earned dollars on their services. Tune up went well; they were friendly, professional, and on time. I plan on continuing to use them for my HVAC needs.

It was just fine. I signed up for an annual service plan with them and they're coming out again later this month. They've done a good job.

They did a very good job. They showed me pictures of the before and after and there was quite a difference even though I'd had it done a year or two before. I had it done before I got the new furnace put in and I thought I was free of dust but there was quite a bit of accumulation of it. I thought that it was because I didn't have it clean enough so I hired Capital Heating & Cooling. They did the camera work and that convinced me to a large degree and then also they put in another entrance to the duct. I noticed too that the air was better. You can't ask for much better. There were no additional charges.

It was really good. They were prompt and responsive. We noticed the difference immediately in terms of the temperature of our home. Definitely, it was warmer. We could tell that what they did made the difference.
