Description of Work: We purchased whole house humidifier. Even though I gave accurate info to the company about our furnace model beforehand on the phone, installer informed me that I needed to upgrade humidifier at cost of extra $250 and had already cut hole in our new furnace. I told him I was not happy, but told him to proceed. He installed the humidifier and connected with an extension cord. Our building inspector following up on furnace, informed me that humidifier was inappropriately installed and Capital Heating & Cooling did not get needed permit. I informed company and they sent an electrician to put in outlet to properly hook up humidifier.I also asked for refund of $250 for cost of upgrade, which they sent to me.

Description of Work: I was told by the office that the install of the project would take 2-3 hours. This was a follow up visit as they damaged my cooling coil on the first visit when installing a humidifier. I also asked them to do a furnace check-up at the same time. When the tech arrived, he was not told that he was also to do the furnace inspection. He also said it would take 2-3 hours. About 6 1/2 hours later he finally finished. Very frustrating in that I ended up missing an entire day of work and that each time when I asked the tech how much longer it would not be finished by that time. It made it even more frustrating that I had to keep asking and he never proactively told me it would take longer. The positive is that on the first visit, when they damaged my furnace coil, they sent me a nice letter, coupons and two free movie tickets. However, when I called them to let them know how frustrated I was with the length of the second visit, I was told that a manager would call me. I never received a call.

Description of Work: The service provider was on time, very knowledgeable and meet all my expectations. The deal didn't work out on my part, it would not fit my heating unit. Other than that, they did everything expect-able.

Description of Work: This was the most courteous and friendly company I have worked with. Erica was very professional, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with. They were quick and efficient - the entire process of replacing or furnace and air conditioner took just over a week, and the installation itself took less than a day! We highly recommend this company!

Description of Work: They connected my new natural gas service into my house and installed a new gas furnace and did the connection for my new gas dryer. I could not have asked for a better company. Everyone there was so friendly, just like "family" but a nice family. And so absolutely prompt!! And I love their courtesy calls. They always call about a half hour before they arrive. I am telling everyone I know about them. I hope Angie's List can expand my praise of them to more people. They are fantastic!!!!
