Description of Work: A whole Home humidifier was installed. The crew that did the work were very good at their jobs. The install was completed in the time they said it would take and all the mess was cleaned up. Description of Work: They performed an air conditioner tune-up as part of the maintenance plan I purchased. They will tune up my furnace in the fall. It's a bit pricey, but my air conditioning equipment is very old and the maintenance plan gives you discounts on parts, labor, and new equipment as well as priority service. I know it's just a matter of time!

Description of Work: They put in a new furnace and air conditioning system. Installers were very professional and courteous. Installation took 2 days and went very well. I would most definitely recommend them to others looking to replace an old heating and cooling system.

Description of Work: They totally rerouted heat situation that was not included when additions were built i.e. electric baseboards were to be used. Capital Htg. did an outstanding job of getting heat into the additions.

Description of Work: They installed a whole house humidifer. Installer was prompt and on time.

Description of Work: We bought a Fall/Spring tune-up special that we pre-paid. The Fall appointment went just fine. But when they came back for the Spring tune-up, all of a sudden the guy tried to tell us that we needed to replace a capacitor right now or else we would end up having to replace our fan in the near future (which would cost several hundreds of dollars). The technician replaced the part (which literally costs about $10 from the part supply place) and proceeded to charge us over two-hundred bucks for it. When my spouse updated me about his, I told the technician to put our old capacitor back in the furnace. I wasn't going to get pressured like that. It just felt like a scam. We have experienced no ill effects from not replacing this part and it's been almost two years already. The last company that checked it didn't use the same high-pressure tactics and actually reported to us that it's difficult to actually test the part on a meter anyways. I just didn't appreciate someone trying to scam us like that.
