They were on time and very efficient in every thing they did. At no time did they try to "sell up" or for us to spend extra.

He did a great job- he was very knowledgeable about our system and reassured me that we had a good unit. He also went above and beyond and installed our new thermostat for us! He took care of one of the honey do items for my husband- and my husband really appreciated that!

He was very nice, came a little early . Very polite. Did the w ork inside and out. Changed the filter on the furnace for me. (I had it ready to go down) Great job.

I chose to go with them because of their price and availability. They were prompt, professional and got it done quickly. I have had no issues since they did the replacement.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and I give them an A-plus. He recommended that we consider getting a new unit, which we ended up doing a couple of weeks ago because it ended up failing after some very hot weather this summer. They were spectacular and the price was very fair. We bought the new unit from them. I felt he was very honest and fair in the fact that the unit was not working well. He provided some recommendations as to what we could do to try to fix it.

The service was excellent. They did a wonderful job. The technician was just so pleasant and nice to deal with. I was very pleased with them and I would use them again. I did not spend any more than the big deal because I had no need for any repairs to the unit. The price was worth the service that they provided and they were right there on time. I would use them again. As a matter of fact, I will be calling them for the heating system.

It was okay. I think it was good. Everything was fine. He didn't talk much. I wasn't that impressed. I was expecting more.

Everything went well. Service technician was running late, but otherwise no service issues.

I was told by the technician and it was written on the work order that he was unable to perform full tune-up due to a previous company sealing the service valves with lock tight (on something like that). I understood that and asked him not to replace the valves at this time. I sent a question to Capital asking if the charge was going to be the same due to the full Tune-up was not completed. I did not receive a response. I sent the question a second time and did receive a call from someone who had the tone like he was angry that I had contacted them with the question. He did tell me the majority of the work was completed on the tune-up. I was fine with his explanation but a little irritated with his attitude.

Arrived late but called ahead to let me know. Good thing. Exceeded my expectations. About 5 years ago I had my furnace replaced by a different company. After they completed the installation I noticed that the drain line for water from the A-coil pan could not be accessed so I could clean the line out. Well, several times the water drain line has plugged and I have had water on the floor. I have had three other companies do tune-ups and none of them could or would correct my problem. Well, low and behold, Kevin from Capital Heating & Cooling extended the drain line from the A-coil drain pan so the water drain hose now is accessible. He went above and beyond my expectations. He removed the top of the outside unit and backwashed the fins from the inside. Most other companies just sprayed water from the outside. Last but not least, he was very cordial and easy to talk to. He answered several of my questions. He worked from the time he got here until the time he left. Very good employee. I will ask for Kevin next time. I am thinking about having Capital Heating & Cooling do my furnace tune up later this year if I can get Kevin.

Capital was fantastic. A technician (Brad) serviced my A/C in May but because the weather was too cool for the unit to be operating, missed a problem with the A/C. He came back at no charge and found that the problem needed to be addressed, requiring a new unit. Verified the problem and solution with another HVAC company. Estimates were virtually identical, but went with Capital as their responsiveness was outstanding and the other company's follow-up responsiveness was non-existent. Marci Hansen came to my house, thoroughly explained what would be done, how long it would take and spent as much time as necessary to answer my questions. All that I can say about Marci is WOW! Gary and Jason arrived to do the install precisely on time and were friendly yet very professional. Marci showed up about an hour later to make sure everything was going well and as promised. It was.

They were very honest with me. They told me specifically what needed to be done. They informed me of everything they were doing and problems they were fixing.

Did a great job. Will be using them in the future for service calls.

Personable, pleasant, professional technician arrived right on schedule. He put paper booties over his shoes whenever he came inside. He ran the unit, checked it all over, and confirmed that it's in perfect working order -- said there's not a thing more that he could suggest it might need.

No problem getting appointment for service call. Regarding service-----just a routine check.

I noticed water around the bottom of my air conditioner on a Saturday and called for service. The call was returned promptly and a service call was arranged for an hour later. The repairman was prompt (even early), respectful, and very helpful. He quickly diagnosed and solved the problem. I will definitely call again with my future air conditioning and heating needs!

This service call couldn't have gone better! I called 2 minutes before noon, when the business hours close. A friendly gentleman answered and asked what he could do for me. I told him it didn't appear that my air conditioning unit was running even though I had it turned on. I have two large and temperature sensitive salt water aquariums and they were reaching a danger zone. Kevin arrived to service the unit within 30 minutes and was done and gone in under 20 minutes. Kevin was considerate, friendly, helpful and offered assistance if we ever have any other needs. He left his business card and let me know that his company is there for us if we need them. We were pleased. They had to replace a part, so it was a little bit more expensive. It sounded like it was about to go out and he told me that it could last a day, month or a year, but it will go out. So, I suggest you place now. I told him to go ahead and do it since he was already here. The guy seemed very honest. A lot of the guys coming into my house are always trying to sell me something that I do not need. He is trustworthy. I will continue to use him.

Last summer our air conditioner was sounding in terrible shape (dimming our lights and making weird noises). So this spring I bought one of the big deals from Capital Heating and Cooling for a tune-up. I fully expected there to be some major issues with our AC, which the technician confirmed. He then went over the options I had to replace the air conditioner and asked if I wanted to shop around a bit before deciding on what to do. He was not pushy at all. I had already done so, and there price was very competitive. So I asked them to replace it, and he got me an appointment the following Monday. The guys came in, very professional, quickly replaced everything, and cleaned up afterwards. I had a question after the install, and the president of the company called me within 5 mintues to go over the issue and have a tech come out later that day. They talked me through the issue and I'm very satisfied with their service. I have and will continue to use them in the future.

I was just very pleased with the technician that came out. I am very happy that I got them through Angie's List. I have no complaints. For the pricing, I didn't compare to other A/C prices so I really don't know how I can rate it. It thought it was fair.

I did not pay anymore than the purchased big deal. They were very honest about everything. They said it was an old unit. He said it might need to be fixed eventually. Wait till then. He did a good job. The price was average. I don't know how much an inspection normally costs. There was a mixup with the telephone. He called and the telephone call did not go through. It was fine.

The friendly sales lady beat a quote previously given to us by another Heating & Air place by $300.00. The installers were friendly & very professional. Installation went quick. They took away old unit with them.

Five minutes after the start of my appointment started (which I had to take a half day of work off to accommodate) , I received a call from dispatch that someone had called in sick, and that the technician would be an hour and a half late for my appointment. I inquired why I was receiving this information now, after my appointment started, when they obviously had called in sick earlier that day. The dispatcher changed her story and said that another job was running over and that is why the technician would be late. I should have listened to my myself then and just cancelled the appointment. T he technician showed up and was nice enough. He looked at the furnace and made a few suggestions about the job. He took some pictures and said he would make some calls outside and get back to me with a quote in a few minutes. He returned and said that there are no more parts for that furnace available and that I should buy a whole new entire furnace. I googled the part in question and showed him that it was indeed available. He said they could not use parts unless they ordered them themselves, and that the work could not be completed unless I wanted to install a new furnace. He charged me $75 for wasting my entire afternoon. I will never do business with this company again. After this awful experince, I called another company. I explained the entire scenario above and the receptionist was quite shocked. She had me take pictures off the piece in question and E-mail them to her. She assured me that their techinicians would be able to make the repairs (without the need to purchase an entire new furnace).
