The crew was a group of nice, hard working young men. They completed the job in one day with minimal damage to our extensive gardens. They left the yard looking good.

I should have just get the siding and roof contractors to give me estimates/bids for free, instead of spending $99. Will not buy this kind of package again.

Visit was scheduled promptly and office staff kept me informed regarding any changes. Several minor roof issues were fixed as part of the visit. Also was given several tips on things I could do myself to prevent future problems as well as thoughts on remaining roof useful life. Excellent value for price and well worth it. Great service and very useful for someone who doesn't like climbing on roofs!

Only replaced 2 short boards on my upper deck and gave me an estimate that was way too expensive I could literally build a new deck for the estimate I got!

They were thorough, professional and nice to deal with. I learned about problems with the garage. Unfortunately, I can't go ahead with repairs right now.

We also added Gutter and downspout replacement to the total project. During the course of the actual tearing out and replacing shingles (and some underlayment due to rotting which we were aware might happen) his roofing crew, (while not very communicative to us), did communicate back to their project manager who then relayed updates as they went along). The roof was completed in two days and on schedule and looked great when done. We waited a couple weeks longer for the siding as we needed more time to make a decision on the color and style. When we were close to making that decision Sunset actually provided us with a few local addresses that we could drive to in order to see a visual of the completed project. Based on that we made our final decision and notified them of that. Again the work was started on schedule and completed according to their time estimates (even with a day or too of inclement weather). They cleaned up very well after themselves and even went above and beyond with installing new outdoor light fixtures and a new mailbox. Overall we have nothing but good to say about this company. Matt and Michael and Jamie kept us very happy throughout the whole process and the labor and materials provided were more than satisfactory. Everyone was very professional and for the most part we received good communication and progress reports as the project went along. We would definitely recommend them and have no hesitation with reaching out to them ourselves for any future exterior home services.

The roof looks good but needs some more sun to see how it lays. I would like to wait until the entire job is done before judging. I have scheduled a deck update also. Thank you for your patience! Jim

They are coming out today to correct a downspout problem. The roofing was done quickly and they even came over the week before to lay a patch down so that we wouldn't have any more leaking the weekend before the roofing date. Very responsive. Great follow-up.

The service folks checked out the deck and said that structurally it was in good shape. They replaced some of the worst deck boards and indicated that they would give me an estimate for replacing most of the rest of the boards. Because of the age of the deck, it is time to replace many of the boards that are showing wear.

Very well. Michael was very informative in sharing what options we had in roof quality, color, and kind of gutters and downspouts. He spent lots of time answering our questions. We waited til the end of the summer and then re-established contact with him and he put us on the schedule in late fall. Crew did the work in a day. The appearance and functioning of roof and gutters and downspouts have been great... Crew did a complete clean up, only found two nails in the entire big yard we have. I wanted to wait before writing the recommendation to see if problems occurred.... None have, we are very happy with the appearance of the roof and how well the gutter system drains! I could not enter the price (system would not let me) but it was very reasonable compared to the other bids we received, but not the lowest bid received

I am extremely impressed with this company. Kevin was a few minutes ahead of time, which was great, excellent communication from Jamie at their front office to include follow-up calls, work was performed with detailed recommendations and on the spot corrections. I would absolutely hire them again and will likely do so soon.

That same week, they had a job cancel so they called us to see if we were ready that weekend. We were going out of town, which worked out great. Despite the weather and some challenges getting the dumpster and supplies in good place near the house, the crew got it done in less than two days. About a week after, Matt stopped by to take a look at the work. We are very happy with our new roof, especially since we have had several severe storms and a lot of rain ever since it was installed!

Excellent. Mike and Matt do great work. Mike quoted the job and provided a great product for our balcony above the four season porch called DecTec. This material is great for anyone looking for something you can walk on/put furniture on. It carries a 10-year warranty. For the other roofing, we chose the StormMaster Shake, a lifetime warranted Class IV hail resistant asphalt shingle. State Farm is discounting our premium by 10% by choosing this product. Sunset Ridge also did a flat roof section with MuleHide and it now has a slight slope so water doesn't pool. Matt and the crew worked very well and cleaned up throughout the project, not just at the end. Kudos, guys!

Very well. I called and explained the problem. They quickly sent a technician to our home and found that some shingles surrounding the vent had lifted. He nailed them back down and caulked to assure a weather tight seal. Great folks to deal with. They will surely handle any roof problems for us in the future.

We've only just started with Mike and his crew, but I can already tell this is one top-notch business! Mike has always responded to my questions during and after he came out to give us an estimate for new windows. Matt then followed up with making arrangements for Justin to come out and measure for the windows, and he also called to set up a time for doing the job...and showed up on time! Mike, Matt, and Justin are professional, courteous, and friendly. We look forward to having our new windows installed soon as they have assured me that the job will be completed when I need it to be. The reviews I've read so far on Angie's List convince me that I made the right choice in going with Sunset Ridge Exteriors! Even though we're spending more than we expected, I know we'll receive a quality product with service to match!

I had a small amount of shingle damage caused by a hailstorm last fall. I saw the crew from Sunset Ridge working on a roof a couple of blocks from me and their professionalism immediately caught my eye. I gave them a call and they had an estimate to me in a couple of days. They did great work and were easy to work with. I expect to hire them for other exterior projects in the future.

Good, I think. However, I called to ask them to return as we spotted a gutter that was letting water gush through it. I felt it was just an oversight on their inspection. I called a second time, and still have not had anyone here to look at it. That has been a few months ago now.
