Evan responded to my questions so quickly and offered some great suggestions. It's just too bad that his company is out of my service area or I'd hire him right away!!

Evan and his team did an amazing job. They arrived on time, coordinated with the power company to turn off the electricity, and dropped the trees in a matter of hours. I met with the guy and I waited for the estimate to come but it never came. So I could not move forward. He seemed like a very nice person but I could not use him because I never got any follow up with him. It was just a little bit frustrating because I never got that estimate from them. He seemed very professional and knew his stuff. He came to my house at the scheduled appointment time so that was good, but then I never got that other piece. He was very professional in talking with me but then the lack of follow through means I give him a C in professionalism.

Precision is the best way to describe thiem. Evan is up in the tree doing the cutting and the two ground staff are manning the ropes and hauling/grinding the debris. They were a well oiled operation and knew what the other person was doing/responsible for. Total job was 6 1/2 hours. Clean up was great. They matted the area to minimize ruts. I even had neighbors come over congratulating them on the fine work. It was fun to watch - these guys know what they are doing. Evan communicated well via Email and did the job for the quoted price including the Angie's list discount. I reviewed various companies in the area via Angie's list and selected the 3 most positive reviews. Urban had the best reviews. The trees were on a lot line with numerous utilities to be concerned with. My neighbor and I split the cost. He is very happy as well with the final outcome.

Excellent. After doing that, he walked through the yard with my husband and made recommendations for maintenance, which he followed up with several options and estimates for each option.

We reached out to Urban Tree Management to perform pruning on 13 mature trees, remove a 25 year declining pine, and treat a 3 year old Linden with canker. Evan promptly returned our call and met with us, scheduling the work 2-3 weeks later. The work effort took 2 days and we couldn't be happier. Evan was able to provide expert advice and a plan for our failing pine. There was no deviation from the estimate which was very reasonable given the amount of work we requested. I would highly recommend Urban Tree Management, and will seek them out for future tree needs. These folks are very responsive with voice and emails.

We really like working with Evan. He's very responsive over email, and great at explaining the whys behind his recommendation. Customer service is excellent. He planted a new tree in the spring, and when I called with a question about it in the fall, it turns out he'd been checking on it periodically when he was in the neighborhood! We'll definitely continue working with him on the plan he put together. HIGHLY recommended.

I got to Evan via an Angies List coupon. He made a bid that seemed high, but I accepted it for some of the work, to see how it would go. He did excellent work; he is very professional, and you can see from his website that he is involved in community activities related to trees and the environment. However, the price turned out to be extremely high for the time that was spent. For the tree trimming, he was here 2.25 hours, along with a ground assistant who did things like pick up the scraps. The charge for that work was almost $1000 [minus an Angies List coupon]. For some of the other work on the bid, I used someone else with a high rating from Angies List, and the hourly cost came out to about half. I also used Evan to treat a tree for disease production. Again, he was very professional, and on this matter his price was fully competitive.

The entire project went smoothly. Arborist Evan Slocum is professional, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He came on the day in late April he said he would. Note that exact times were not possible because the company schedules a number of small projects like mine on one day. On the day the tree removal was scheduled Evan was working alone. Nevertheless, the work was completed within 3 hours. I thought that was remarkable considering that climbing and rope work were necessary for several trees. The yard was cleaned of debris. Evan took the time to remind me to protect my dogs from the herbicide treated trunks for at least a few days. When the new tree was available Evan and worker Francisco arrived mid morning on the date scheduled (May 6). They planted the nice, healthy looking 8-12 ft tree in the area I marked, and mulched it. The type of tree was specified by me and selected by Evan at the nursery. I am very pleased with both the work and the tree! Later on the day of planting Evan e-mailed the invoice and printed care instructions for the new tree. I highly recommend Urban Tree Alliance.

I was more interested in immediate resolution with some areas I deemed to be problematic than in longer term plans. I know both are important but I wanted to start with the present problems a bit more.

Evan was very personable and professional. He explained the entire treatment process in detail and answered all of my many questions about this particular tree and trees in general in a very knowledgeable way. It was fascinating to watch him drill many holes in my tree and to introduce tubing into each hole that carried the chemicals into the tree itself. I would highly recommend this business.

the provider was professional but I had to leave for work and when I got home there were several deep gouges in my lawn and a corner garden was completed smashed down . The tree was down but I wish the yard gouges would have been at least filled. I've talked to others who had other tree providers and they did not have any yard gouges and their tree was 3 times the size of mine.

Ethan arrived, looking very clean-cut and professional. We reviewed all the concerns for the many trees on our property. More than I could afford in one season, and there was no pressure. The day the work was done was inclement and the work clothes were on. All the work was professional and allowed me to feel safe in the bedroom underneath the cabled limb. I like their philosophy of working WITH the trees to keep them. It would be simple to cut away all that hangs over the house, but I value the trees contribution to keeping the house cool in the summer. I very seldom need air conditioning. The service tech was great. Called ahead of time to confirm times that worked for me. They did a tremedious job of removing some unwanted rose bushes and trimming several other bushes and trees in my front, side and back yards.

They did a great job. He was going to remove a stump. He noticed there were some diseases going on with the trees in the area. He gave me a proposal and I did some research and found he was right. I had him do the treatment and their pricing was really competitive.

They were very polite and professional, they cleaned up after themselves. The outcome was very nice.
