Urban Tree Management

Description of Work: Shortly after I bought my current home, Evan trimmed three trees that had branches hanging over the road and that were too crowded together. He also inspected other trees on the property, gave me advice about pruning, and put together a list of trees that I might consider when I'm ready to add trees to the property. I was pleased with the service and would use Urban Tree Alliance again.

Description of Work: Evan evaluated our tree, an aging silver maple. He removed a bad central branch and trimmed the canopy; and cleaned up afterward. They worked quickly. We'll have to monitor that tree; it's pretty close to the end of its life, but I do like the shade in summer.

Description of Work: Urban Tree Alliance came out and assessed our trees and bushes, and offered a plan, which involved cutting down two hemlocks which were not thriving, removing a dead lilac, and pruning our burning bush and crabapple tree. We decided to remove the crabapple rather than pruning it. They arrived promptly when promised, and when I drove off to work 7 minutes later, the hemlocks were already down and the crab was on its way. They cleaned up impeccably. They will be back this week to grind the stumps, and we will certainly consider using them to replant trees in the spring. Evan was a pleasure to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend Urban Tree Alliance.

Description of Work: Emerald Ash Borer treatment and a lot of pruning to two trees in front yard by street. They came early and finished before they were even scheduled to be here. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves, no trace of them except super well-trimmed trees. Very friendly and approachable. |The Ash tree treatment cost $100 less than a quote I had gotten from a different place. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: They treated 4 Ashe trees for the ashe borer, and took down a winter--damaged arbor vitae. They will be returning to drill out that stump and 2 others. It went perfectly.

Description of Work: My black walnut tree had limbs breaking off into 3 different back yards. Now the dead branches are trimmed out and the weight on other branches has been minimized to prevent breakage and damage to lines and property.
