This is a very professional company. I wasn't sure how things would go since I wanted them to clean my house prior to the holidays. It was to be my first time hosting the holidays for my family and my wife's family. I didn't know if they were available and could come close to the holidays. Boy, I was wrong. They worked with me and showed up at my house at 6:00 am on Sunday (which I didn't mind at all). They were very professional and went about their business in an efficient and orderly manner. I would definitely use them again.

I was very disappointed in the cancellation of service. I am disabled band my in home helper and myself organized the garage in order for it to be cleaned. A lot of work for me for nothing! I hope that the cleaning can take place in the very early spring or I will be extremely upset!

Bought the Angie's List Deal for my daughter who bought her first house this summer. This is her story: I had purchased my house in late July, and this was the first deep clean beyond the surface stuff I had already done myself. The work they did was well done, but being that I don't speak Spanish, and one spoke English and some Spanish, and the third only spoke Spanish, I found that communication wasn't always easy. That's not a big issue, it made it kind of like a game at times, similar to charades. My problem was that the service I purchased was for 9 man-hours, and they left with over 2 man hours still to go. I would have had them go to the garage and help me out there, but she was so fast in communicating, and was ready to run out since she did have to drive back to Madison, I didn't think about the fact that there was still work to do and plenty of time left in which to do it. They also arrived almost an hour after the scheduled time. I was coming from a different location as I had not moved in yet, so that was annoying. I had them clean the basement, because of my arachnophobia, and they definitely got the worst of it by far, but there were quite a few cobwebs still left. They did do a basic cleaning of the windows, I was hoping for better results, but the paint was old, and I know they worked on each for about 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, they did not do behind the fridge or stove (they both move easily), nor did they do the window behind them which had years of dust built up. They were both nice, and hard workers. I had asked them to not wast time in the bathroom that is going to be gutted because of problems, but I discovered after a bit, that the guy had spent about 30 minutes in there, and then didn't rinse any of the soap off after I discovered him up there. Good thing it's going in the trash anyway. The hardwood floors, especially upstairs, shone beautifully, and you can tell that they know what they're doing on those! Very pleased with results on those. The office & guest room came out really well. I did have to ask them to go over the living room with the vacuum again, as there were lots of little bits of stuff that got tracked through I guess or something. Anyway, it looked very nice once they finished too. I spoke with the owner soon after they left, and sent the email requesting a detailed report that he requested. Never got a response. I do have one more Angie's Big Deal certificate for them to use that I purchased. (The first one was a gift from my mother.) I'm hoping that the next time they come out it will be far closer to the results I was hoping for.

Everything was done by telephone. I was gone when they came in. Good marks from the folks who did other work for me.

It went well. I did however expect that the time they would spend cleaning wouldn't be just house cleaning but doing the more thorough stuff like wipe down all the woodwork, clean the windows, clean out the fridge. I have a regular housekeeper and so I purchased this service to do the things that she doesn't usually do. It all worked out, but perhaps the description of the offer was not as clear as it would be about their services

Did not go at all. Requesting $99.00 refund for services not performed.

No complaints, the workers were professional and worked very hard for the entire 4 hours.

Theft: By far the greater issue in this services performed is the theft. (Review of the cleaning follows.) The owner, Jackie Clash, was initially responsive and helpful with the police investigation. I understand that he fired the employee we are accusing (and who we, including the police BELIEVE to have committed this crime, although now Jackie is saying he isn't sure it was Mike, even though he didn't fire the other two people who cleaned our home). Jackie informed me that he has NEVER had a problem of theft before, I'm not if I believe him anymore. This was the day before our wedding. I had jewelry in a closed secretary in my bedroom, covered by a large envelope. Shortly after the crew left (1.5 hours into a 3 hour deep clean), I went upstairs to get something out of the secretary and noticed the enveloped moved, and my diamond engagement ring missing (I didn't realize the other ring was missing until several hours later). We immediately called Jackie, who called the police. We later learned that the man we are accusing of taking the ring had only worked for Jackie for TWO DAYS, yet he was the lead of the three-person team that was at our house. We also learned that Mike (Michael Slaughter), the man we are accusing, has a lenghthy criminal record that INCLUDES numerous counts of in-building theft. While I regret that Jackie's business may now be at risk because of Mike's actions, it was Jackie who hired this criminal, and then within two days had him inside my home. I trusted Jackie's company and could never have thought any company would hire a man with this kind of record, particularly to clean homes, put him in charge of a crew, and send him into my home. We will be pursuing remands from Jackie because at this point that is our only recourse - the police could not arrest Mike as he did not admit to taking the jewelry, but I still hope that Mike will eventually have to answer for what he has done. Above all, I still hope to get my grandmother's ring back. Review of actual cleaning performed: Prior to discovering the theft, I did not feel that the services performed were satisfactory. Three people showed up and immediately started cleaning. I was working on other things in the house, and about 1.5 hours after they arrived Mike, the lead, informed me they were ready to leave. I was shocked. I walked around the house and immediately still noticed dust on bookshelves where they had not moved things, dog fur collected in corners, the hardwood floors not washed, etc. When I told Mike it didn't look like a Deep Clean, he told me he wasn't aware it was supposed to be. They came back in and addressed the dusting and a few other spots I pointed out, but it was obvious that I was going to have to walk around and point out areas I was dissatisfied with. But, I was dissatisfied with the whole thing. I was expecting a DEEP clean, a clean that would go beyond what we usually do. What I got was a cleaning that I could have done (albeit they did it faster). Their re-scheduling my appt, and then showing up 1.5 hours late already had me way behind schedule for the day (we had friends and family arriving for our wedding the next day), so I gave them a tip and let them leave. I did not have time to deal with it anymore. (I later learned that the $30 tip I gave to Mike was not shared with the other two women on the crew.) I should have noticed how big a hurry Mike was in. I should have... But, I actually felt bad for the cleaners, and tried very hard to minimize my frustration because I felt it was more a problem with poor management, than poor staff. Again, what a fool I was.

This was the second time I used the Dirt Destroyers. Both times they did an excellent job. I had the experience of having two different crews, and both crews were extremely conscientious and hard-working. They got right to work, took no breaks, and worked very efficiently. They knew how to split up the work and what order to do things in to get the most done in the shortest time period. They didn't cut any corners and when they finished, the house was sparkling. I have used two other cleaning services in the past 18 months and Dirt Destroyers is definitely the best. I will continue to use them as often as I can! (Also, with an Angie's List coupon, an incredible value for the price.)

We bought this to have our garage cleaned for my daughters after wedding party that we were having outside. We wanted the garage cleand in the event of rain so we could have a place for our guests that couldn't fit in our home. Bottom line is I called them almost once a week to schedule. Finally got a call back and scheduled. They never showed up due to Illness. Of course the scheduler could have called us but failed to do so. giving them the benefit of the doubt I tried to reschedule but no return phone calls. I contacted Angies list and was able to not have my credit card charged.

I tried calling them several times. The first time no one answered. The second time a man answered and said that it was Dirt Destroyers, but that he did not know anything about the Big Deal and would have someone call me. I never heard from anyone else. I went on their website and sent them an email, it came back saying the email address was not correct. I went back on their website and they had a contact us section. I filled out the contact us portion, but have not heard back from them through that either. I have since contacted Angie's List for a refund on my Big Deal.

They were supposed to come for clean-up and organization. What they told me right away was that they were going to have to call me back to schedule me because they were so busy. That was in July and I still haven't heard anything back. I am now getting a refund and had someone else do the job.

One thing that was not disclosed when I made my purchase was the fact that there were only 2 days a week when this company provides service to the area I live in (Milwaukee). This made scheduling very difficult and they were unable to accommodate me prior to my party even though I contacted them three weeks before it. When I did eventually schedule the cleaning, the pair who came to clean were polite and worked very quickly. Unfortunately their quick work left little to be desired. For the price I paid it was okay but if I had paid full price I would have been very dissatisfied. Floors had visible spots, faucets were not cleaned around the base, etc. An adequate surface clean but definitely not the deep clean that had been advertised.

They did a great job and were very considerate. We hired them using an Angie's List deal. When they finished without using the entire time covered by the deal they offered to come back again at now additional charge so we could get the full benefit of the deal.

They moved through the house, paid attention to detail, cleaning everywhere.

They were excellent; we have a different cleaning service that comes in on a regular basis for routine cleaning, so we were interested in the deep cleaning certain elements in our house. Dirt Destroyers didn't bat an eye, even when we showed them our most humbling messes and left those areas spic and span. We'd absolutely call them again.

Would not use them. Do all research and read all reviews even though companies are listed on Angie's list. I trusted that if they are on the list they have been thoroughly vetted and apparently that is not true to my perception of Angie's list. I think some companies get overbooked when they offer those Groupon specials and then the service is lacking.

I bought the special "big deal", but waited until a few months later to try to schedule a cleaning. After several phone call attempts and messages left, I gave up and never used my voucher. It was a total waste of time and money. They weren't even professional enough to return my call to say they were booked or anything.

The lead was a nice, young woman but she did not have control of her staff. One employee was extremely lazy and the last half hour she literally sat at the base of my stairs. She did not speak english so I did not understand exactly what was said, but it sounded like she had communcated she was finished with all her work. The lead was clearly frustrated with her and raised her voice then proceeded to complain about her and tell me basically that the employee was never going to work for them again. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional...but I must say that I liked the lead. She was a nice person and meant well but was clearly distracted by the other person. She also recleaned the basement bar area when I told her it was still dusty (the other woman had supposedly cleaned it already). That being said, when it was over we found more areas totally uncleaned and some scratches to our new buffet in the dining room. Clearly they had just slid the vases across the surface in order to dust. My husband tried to contact the owner several times, but it was difficult to communicate with him. However, Jackie did end up emailing me back after I sent a letter to him and offered us a re-do...just that we have no intention of using it. What we should have done (and now looks like my husband dropped the ball on this), is had them have someone professionally refinish the top of our buffet. I'd used Dirt Destroyers 1 or 2 times previously. I had my best results the first time, but each time you get a different crew. I'd prefer to have that first crew back...they did a good job and seemed to take more caution with my possessions. I can't risk it again. My husband notices every flaw and every little scratch afterwards and its too stressful for me. I guess I'm going back to cleaning my own house for now.

I bought a Big Deal voucher for this cleaning service for myself and two friends as Christmas gifts last year. After they came to deep clean our houses, I received very enthusiastic phone calls from my friends thanking me for this gift. They were very reliable and did a very thorough cleaning job. We would all recommend giving them a try if you are looking for quality cleaning - they also have green options available upon request.

It was a great experience. They arrived early, they stayed longer than my appointment, and all 3 people worked very hard. I would hire them again.

Problems scheduling - could not schedule during summer. Very limited availability of days and times in Milwaukee area. I received an email stating the team was running an hour late, so I went to run errands and received a call that they were on time and waiting. Once there they were very courteous and professional and did an excellent job. I will use again if the deal repeats itself.

They did a great job with a cluttered house. Their help was invaluable in preparing our house to be photographed before listing it in January 2012. They got out stains in carpets and surfaces that other cleaners explained away. Happy to have learned about them from Angie' s List!

These guys are miracle workers! I won't go into the nastiness but seriously above and beyond the call. I have since hired them on a continuing basis and am just as thrilled

After a problem with the first date. They were short handed and I waited for them to come, a new date was proposed and kept very well.
