The Dirt Destroyers Cleaning Service LLC

The cleaning was good, but it came to light that this was not a company I could trust. They lied about an incident that took place in the home and was witnessed by my tenant. When confronted, they denied it. I requested a refund of the remainder of my cleaning retainer and they agreed however I'm now suing in small claims court to actually collect that balance.

They never tried to re-schedule. Disappointing.

It didn't. I never used this service.

Obviously, I was not happy and would not call them again.

It was a good service. We ended up using them for about a year.

It was clear that their management forced them to work too hard or too quickly. So they couldn’t do a great job. It was much more than the management problem. The workers were perfectly nice. They cleaned everything. We were vacating an apartment. They did do a good job cleaning. It was just clear that these people were over worked and under paid. Their pricing was the whole problem.

The cleaning was OK. I did have some difficulty with the setting up of the appointment by phone.

They were really very very good. They spent a lot of time for the money.

If I could give less than one star I would. Had to chase them down to make appointments. Finally got one. A half an hour before they were suppose to arrive canceled due to sickness. It happens not a big deal. Promised double time to make up for it. Set up another appointment months ahead of time several confirmation emails. A half an hour before they were supposed to arrive, we were sent a text saying it is not worth their time to come to our house. Very, very, very unprofessional. Do not go by the reviews on their site. Let's face it they pick and choose what they want on there. In my opinion you cannot trust this business.

The service went well. It was easy to get in touch with the company and scheduling was very easy. Two people came out and completed the service in about 4 hours. They brought their own supplies and did a very nice job.

My attempts to contact the company were never successful. I left voice messages and email. No response of any kind.

They did not have a ladder. Need the cob webs removed. Decided not to use them as they were our money was refund

We got this refunded. They were professional but we were out of their service area.

They did a good job cleaning the house.

I did not pay more than the $99 Big Deal. I thought they were very good. The only issue was the fact they traveled from Madison to this county, Waukesha County, with the distance which created some issue scheduling, but they did a great job. They did everything for me. They were very professional. I actually used them for a-year-and-a-half. The geographic distance was the issue.

I probably wouldn't use them again. They are based out of Madison, and they can only come into Milwaukee one day a week. I had two guys who came out. They couldn't get anybody to Milwaukee, and when they did set an appointment, the people fell sick, and then they sent 2 guys on a Saturday, and that was not good for me. They did try, but I would never have them back.

We purchased cleaning services and expected them to provide this prior to our Christmas parties. They scheduled, then cancelled this appointment twice. Worst of all the first cancel was the day of the appointment. The second was only the day prior. At that point I did not trust them to keep their word. This process took 17 days and wasted all my lead time. All other cleaning services were now booked so I needed to calls family and friends to help. They did not try to remedy this problem and only offered to reschedule in Jan or Feb, after the holidays and of no use to me. I contacted Angie's list and they credited my account. Note Dirt Destroyers' offer did NOT state blackout dates or limited availability during the holidays. They also claimed their scheduling problems were do to that fact their crews drove from Madison to Milwaukee.

The cleaning was just fine. The communication was not great. According to the website you could specify what you wanted cleaned. I had typed it all out in the order I wanted done. I had specified things like cleaning the oven. They didn’t do that. They did more of like the regular cleaning. But it was nice to come home to a clean home. The did a great job with the regular cleaning, but it was not exactly what I was looking for.

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!! Jackie is very responsive to take your money and also as quick to not do the work promised. I bought a $150 "certificate" from them as a CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY MOTHER. She has tried repeatedly to contact them. At first Jackie was very gracious at helping her and said that she would do whatever she needed and apologized for the inconveniences. After SEVERAL calls and emails she no longer gets a response, regardless of what time or time she tries to contact them. She is filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau right now and trying to contact the company any way that she can possibly find. They refuse to respond in any manner to at least credit the money back. The Dirt Destroyers, LLC--have you no integrity??

They showed up on time and were pretty efficient.

They did a good job. They showed up late but stayed until the job was completed. I would use them again.

They were REALLY hard to get a hold of. They had an online system of booking everything, but it’s been down and they’ve not returned my phone calls. I was able to get them out once, but that’s all. I would like a refund.

So I bought this deal to help do some deep cleaning to prep for the holidays. This deal must have been a bigger hit than this company anticipated, because when we called to schedule, the voicemail was full. Anyway, we finally got ahold of them, and they never showed for the first scheduled appointment. When they rescheduled (AFTER the holidays, completely defeating the purpose of buying the deal), the 2 people who arrived did not appear to know that we signed up for deep cleaning. Instead, one of the employees did our dishes while the other cleaned our bathroom. My husband did not specifically ask them to clean the floors and the floor boards, so I can't be completely upset with them. Needless to say, if you use this company, have an explicit list.

the reason I gave a B rather than A was the interaction on the phone trying to cordinate the arrival time. At tehtime, they were not very flexible and it seemed a lot of trouble to phone 20 - 300 min before arrival time. THe job was well done though.

They never showed up. They wouldn't even answer the phone. They were beyond terrible. I thought I was going to get my money back on that. I tried contacting them several times. I was disconcerted with some of their stuff but I think they were just overwhelmed by the amount of work that they had in response to the big deal. The guys were nice and they did decent work.
