Angie's list special. The job was done in about 6 hours.

First off, they arrived later then scheduled. They were pleasant to deal with and feeling bad they were working so close to the holiday, I left them some treats to take with them. A small token of appreciation. Upon retuning home I felt that the job they did was lackluster. Even worse yet was the fact that they broke a small crystal turtle that my wife had loved and had bought in Europe. There was no note or anything to describe what happened, or apology. No phone call was received either. A follow up call days later was given to me by the owner/manager asking how I liked the service. I told him my feelings and he apologetically felt bad, He wanted to make things better (which I appreciated) by having the job done over at my convenience. We set up another date and time for a different crew to come back and clean, which they never showed up for. No phone call, no anything, No follow up by the owner/manager. How pathetic. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I called Dirt Destroyers to confirm that it was OK to use the Big Deal for a move-out cleaning, and then scheduled a 7 AM slot six weeks in advance. 35 hours before the scheduled time, they sent email saying that they needed to reschedule for the following week, which was after my move-out date. I wrote back that that wouldn't work, and they offered to come at 8 PM on the original date. Two cleaners arrived, on time. They were polite, introduced themselves, and asked what I wanted done. Almost all the furniture was already moved out; I set them to work on the bathroom, the kitchen, dusting and vacuuming the other rooms, wiping smudges off the walls, etc. They started out working hard, but it soon became clear that they were very tired; one told me it was the 11th place they had cleaned that day (one reason I had originally requested a morning slot!) After less than two hours, they said they were done, and asked if I had anything else. I pointed out a rug that hadn't been vacuumed, the oven that hadn't been cleaned. They did a little more, and I finally let them go an hour early because they were so clearly exhausted. By that time I was tired too, so I finished the cleaning the next day. It would have been a good deal had a gotten the *deep* cleaning for the six full hours that was promised. They did a very good job on the bathroom and the refrigerator, but the rest was pretty average. I'd give the cleaners a B -- I think they had a good attitude and would probably have been more thorough if they had been fresher, and the person organizing this whole outfit a D-.

I used the special deal for this service. I bought the special deal tickets twice earlier as well for the same service. I’ve never had cleaning service before but they seemed very honest. I didn’t worry about anything being missing. They were very thorough and so I was generally pleased with them. Their price was good. It was excellent. Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of them. They called whenever they came early each time.

No services were performed as they did not show up for appointment Received a call one and a half hours after scheduled appointment time saying they could be there in another half hour Guests were arriving so that was not an option for us Some random crew member called our home an hour and a half BEFORE scheduled appointment, but we did not recognize the name or number and we screen our calls opting to let unknown callers leave a message, which this caller did not do Supposedly they were calling to see if they could come early , but no message was left and that was the only call we received until an hour and a half AFTER scheduled appointment This was an "Angie's Big Deal" purchase which I would have through was reliable We are now in process of trying to get a refund!!!

Two very nice young men came and were very pleasant and professional, but were not thorough in their cleaning and missed quite a few obvious areas--for example the faucets. I gave fairly specific instructions, though I did not tell them exactly every single item to do. They finished early and straightened a room that I specifically said did not need cleaning. If there was extra time I asked them to let me know, because I had more areas they could clean. The two young men were very nice, and I really did not want to give a bad review and hurt their employment, but Angie's List kept bugging me for a review.I think these guys were not that experienced, or they would not have overlooked obvious things. Its been too long for me to remember the details.

Hard to scheduled & mix up about address, but the team did an awesome job!

I purchased a "Deep Cleaning" package from Angie's List to tackle our home... and boy, was it in need of a good scrubdown - we really hadn't touched it since before the holidays (it's July!). They arrived right on time and got down to business. Everyone was so nice - and they did a phenomenal job. We were incredibly happy with the results. Now, my family has a running game to see how long we can keep it this way. So far, so good! Highly recommended and well worth paying full price.

Three guys showed up exactly in time. They asked if I wanted them to take off their shoes since I have very light carpets, which is something I very much appreciated. They then proceeded to divide and conquer on the house. It had been six months since I'd had the house cleaned, so it needed a bit of elbow grease. I could actually hear rhee scrubbing away. Two worked upstairs on the two bedrooms and bath, while the other proceeded to thoroughly clean the kitchen, and I mean thoroughly. The microwave and stovetop have never been so clean. He even wiped down the little scale I have for weighing things. They then cleaned the downstairs bath and dusted and cleaned all the floors. They finished up right on time. They did a very good job and I was very impressed. The quite they gave me for regular cleaning was also reasonable.

I would recommend The Dirt Destroyers Cleaning Service LLC. The downside is they sent a bunch of teenagers. The upside was they were willing to do whatever I asked them too. Their price was fair. I would use them again.

After trying many times to schedule our first cleaning with the company, we finally got it worked out. I think perhaps they got overwhelmed. Once they were scheduled to come but the owner called to say he was running late and needed to come a couple of hours later, which didn't work for us (we have small kids napping in the afternoon). They were running late for the appt. this morning but called to say so and did arrive within 15 minutes, just as promised. They were very professional and I'm really pleased with the work. I'd give them an A if the responsiveness were better--I think it's an issue of needing someone in an office.

Services - cleaned a ton in my house extremely well so my review is that the workers were awesome just not sure about company.

This was the work of 3 people over a period of 2 hours (6 hours) of cleaning. First, they arrived 30 min. early. This caught us off guard as it was 7:30 a.m. on Saturday instead of 8 a.m. We asked them to give us a few minutes and they returned in 20 min., closer to the scheduled time. Overall they did a good job, they THOROUGHLY cleaned the kitchen- walls, cabinets, floors, on top of the fridge and microwave, sink, countertops, table etc. They found dirt I didn't know existed and got rid of it. One person worked on the bathrooms the whole time. It seemed like it took him a long time, but I guess 3 bathrooms does take a while. Unfortunately, in the rush to finish, they moved the futon and scratched our hard wood floor in the sunroom. The cleaner that they used also left streaks on the wooden kitchen table. The streaks were not permanent and were easy to remove. Despite those things, we would use them again. The price was reasonable- $99 plus tip.

They were not as thorough as I had expected. I think they could have paid more attention detail.

They seemed to deep clean obects (i.e., my glasses on the counters and mason jars on the counters and other random objects), but did not deep clean my actual house. My house did not seem significantly cleaner than prior to their coming, unfortunately. They were, however, very friendly.

I bought a special whole house cleaning, great deal, and the two people who came were cheerful, worked continuously, and worked off my priority list. They had to leave one floor unwashed due to time constraints, but everything else was done well.

They did a great job. They charged $100 for two people for two hours. They were very thorough. They cleaned everything.

$99 for six hours of deep cleaning?!? Sounded too good to be true. Well, it was. My cleaning was scheduled for 7am on Monday, January 9th. I received a confirmation late on Sunday the 8th stating my cleaning was for 1pm. I waited to see what time a team would show up. Around 11:30 Monday I received a call stating the team wouldn't arrive until 2:30. I said my cleaning was supposed to be at 7 and the caller responded I was scheduled for 1:55. I told the caller that I need to leave my house at 2:40 to pick up my children from school but I would leave the garage door open in case they hadn't arrived yet. No one had arrived by 2:40 when I left to pick up my children. When I arrived home at 3:10, the team was already there and working. My family left the house around 4:10 for an appointment and I told the team to just leave via the back door into the garage. When my family arrived home at 5:25, the team was already gone. I paid for 6 hours of cleaning and received less than that. Nearly every light was left on in the house when the team left. I walked around the house to survey the job and here are some of the areas I found to be neglected. The computer room, a major thoroughfare, had not been vacuumed. The walk in closet in the master bedroom had not been vacuumed either. Chandeliers and pictures were not dusted. Neither were any of the blinds on the first floor or any lamps. Ceiling fans had not been dusted nor had the dresser in the master bedroom. The kitchen sink had not been scrubbed. This is just a small list of what was NOT cleaned. I received a survey the following day for the service. I felt it was only fair to contact the company to have them fix the situation before I gave them a bad review. I received a call back right away so I could voice my complaints and find out what their definition of a deep clean really was. I did not hear back from the company again. I sent an email to the company to once again voice my concerns. I received an email from one of the people that had been to my home to clean. She was very rude and insulting and most unprofessional, lying about what was cleaned, that they had put in the full 6 hours of cleaning. After this email, I felt it best just to let the situation go, give them the bad review that they deserved, and warn other consumers to stay away from these unprofessional people.

The cleaning itself seemed to be very good. The two cleaners arrived on time, were polite and receptive to my requests.One thing I didn't care for was that one of them seemed to be just a bit snoopy. We have 4 covered dishes on our coffee table with nuts and candies in them and one of the cleaners opened and looked in each of them before moving them to dust. The same individual asked one or two questions of me that were a bit personal. Perhaps I am more sensitive than others with regard to these things, but I found myself a little disturbed by these things.As someone who regularly employs house cleaners, one blessing was that they all spoke english.When I originally set up the appt. with the owner of the company every thing went very well. But then I got an email reminder of the appt date and time and the time was different than agreed upon. I emailed back trying to get a clarification. It took a while and a second request email on my part to get the time properly confirmed and it ended up being a different time than I had originally requested. But I was available for their schedule, so no problem.Then I got an email requesting that the date be changed. I think (can't remember exactly- I should have done this review when it was fresh in my head) this ended up in my making a phone call to the owner to clarify for real exactly what date and time we were finally speaking about. Again, this took a while to get it confirmed.So my lower ratings for punctuality, responsiveness and professionalism are really more for the owner and scheduling than for the employees that did the cleaning.

We were moving into a home that was sorely neglected by the previous owners. Everything needed to be cleaned and painted. The crew that came in did a great job of freshening the house by washing woodwork, cabinets, kitchen and bathroom areas, and floors. When they left the house was ready for our painting and moving in. Great job!

I wasn't present for the job so I don't know about punctuality or professionalism of the people who cleaned, but the owner was responsive to email inquiries. In the time allotted they cleaned my kitchen, three bathrooms, vacuumed everywhere, dusted the living room and entry area, emptied the trash, and even changed the linens in the master bedroom. I'd say the quality of the cleaning was good, not quite exceptional. (Some dirt/dust left around the edges of rooms, the old linens from the bedroom tossed onto the basement stairs.) I don't have experience with any other cleaning services, but I'd use Dirt Destroyers again. Especially the Big Deal price.

My overall experience was "fine." Neither here nor there. They were polite and on time. The cleaning was OK, but nothing special. I consider this on par with most other cleaning services I've tried. If you're not fussy, they'll be just fine. If you want the tops of doorways, picture frames, tiny spaces, etc. dusted and cleaned, then you probably won't be satisfied. I checked that I wouldn't use them again only because the cleaning was average enough that I might as well keep trying other places since they didn't distinguish themselves from the pack.

They just did an average job and I think they could have prepared more. I probably would not use them.

I had to cancel the deal after they repeatedly delayed responding to my messages, put off coming, scheduled me without telling me, and ultimately canceled with just a few hours notice. Angie's List refunded my money on the Big Deal.
